Best CMMS and Service Ever!
What do you like best about the product?
The customer service is outstanding! They normally respond within minutes during the week and within an hour on the weekend. The people who are also very knowledgeable as well. I have even had the CEO reply on weekends!
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I can think of that we currently dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CMMS. MaintainX helps us with both our maintenance management/tracking and keeping our parts inventory up-to-date. We use it for both maintenance management and inventory control.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want an extremely responsive CMMS provider, these are the guys! For customization, if the system can do it, these guys will do it and usually within a couple of hours. The system is very easy to administrate and use. We use it for inventory, work orders, and recently to track in-house asset builds. We look forward to growing with MaintainX!
It's at the top of the class with its advanced features

What do you like best about the product?
I'm told that through maintain X we can use it for inventory management as well as tracking time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cannot do multiple work orders or pms simultaneously
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping a synced inventory and parts list along with each machine is very helpful.
Very good program.
What do you like best about the product?
I like entering the information I need for the parts and using pictures. I like that they have made it so you can look up items by their part #.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any thing I dislike at the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's easier to account for parts since the guys can add them to work orders. It's been an enormous help to be able to assign parts to the machine they belong to.
Cool review

Electronic reminder of work still needing done
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like notifications I can read on my lock screen

Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's all good
My Review
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can speak on the telephone and what I am saying is entered into maintain x. I have a hard time spelling english because English isn't my first language. This makes reporting my work easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this time, I don't have any dislikes. The software is faster and we can look at pictures to help us identify what work is being requested of me. I like that it is more flexible to me in that I can use my phone to enter my notes
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can speak into my phone and it is entered into work orders. I can find parts immediately using the asset bill of materials. Taking parts out of stock on work orders is easy.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I like it
Work orders, tracking labor hours for tasks, and specific costs like grant reporting.
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to write work orders in the field.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like more flexibility in reporting. In tracking labor hours per task I have to use MS excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows staff to work more efficiently. MaintainX has allowed us to drop another program we were using to track tasks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
MaintainX is a cost-effective and simple program for communicating work with employees.
Its an App and a web program
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to use my phone in the field to update my work orders is a plus. If something goes wrong, I can attach a picture and easily communicate what is wrong. All user's inputs are consolidated on the cloud. Can assign QR codes for inventory labels, so the app can be used to automatically pull up info on it and create a related work order for it.
What do you dislike about the product?
No way to book a job as "the first day of the month". Repeating projects must be scheduled as days, weeks, months, or years apart, so they can accidentally slip into non-work days.
Would like to have nested options on forms (like grayed-out checkboxes linked to a boolean Y/N button
Would like to have nested options on forms (like grayed-out checkboxes linked to a boolean Y/N button
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are putting all of our parts inventory into MaintainX so that we know how much we have in stock, when to reorder and how much we paid last time. We now spend less time looking for spare parts which were already depleted.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider the per-user cost along with the overall costs to see how it lines up versus the competion.
Good software, still needs work, but still good
What do you like best about the product?
I like the functionality of attaching pictures to assets. PMs are easy to create and you can enter pictures to help describe what is needed on each block. I use the opportunity to fill in PM steps and procedure descriptions and follow up with pictures of what components are being discussed.
This functionality brings a PM program together nicely while eliminating extensive technician PM training. Requestors love the ease of entering work orders. Maintain X is far more responsive than other, processor-heavy CMMS software that I am familiar with. I have entered pictures on about 99% of my equipment and that is nice in determining what equipment is being discussed without having to chase down machines. Pictures on assets also assures the requestor that they are entering the work order on the proper asset.
My plant manager loves the ability to look at data on graphs (meter readings) I love how easy it is to set up meters and put them onto PMs
The software is being improved and I believe the Maintain X team is agile and competent. I know they take their jobs seriously, and it shows. Many opportunities are being missed, but this software is rather new to the industrial facility planning process (from what I can tell) but they are taking our recommendations seriously and I feel Maintain X will quickly improve to fit the needs of their clients. You guys are on the right path, please keep taking recommendations, assessing the functionality, and acting on them (appropriately). I feel that Maintain X will be a world-class system (more profitable for you and more functional for me).
I also love the mobility, PM's can be done from cell phones, huge benefit

What do you dislike about the product?
The scheduling module is not ready for prime time, which is one of the major functions of CMMS software. I need to be able to see what portion of available labor hours has been scheduled.
The labor metrics are not as precise as they could/should be for reporting purposes. The PO process is being improved, however,
I find it vital to have an immediate correlation from work order to PO in terms of ordering a non-stock item for reactive work. This will improve the Planner's ability to data-mine past issues and what was purchased to fix the problem, who was talked to, who recommended the purchase, when the repair part was received, and when the work was completed. So many details are being missed. PO correlation of entering text in the details block is worthless, while we should have the ability to requisition parts from the work order (at least for the Planner).
PM statuses should be able to be set and recurring on future PMs, this will cause work orders to show up in their proper filter (as established).
Work order stages should be able to be mass changed. Currently, the Planner, Supervisor, or Manager must go through each work order and close the work order which is excessive and unnecessary.
Certain personnel (Planners, Supervisors, Managers) must be able to retroactively enter time on work orders. I understand maintaining the integrity of work order reporting, but real life happens and it skews on-time completion in terms of accurate reporting.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Benefits: Ease of use for work order requestors is a big benefit. More description was needed in the past for better PM directions which reduces PM training (even my QA lady said that she could do PMs on my dock levelers). Meter readings are real nice, mobility.
Challenges: PO / work order correlation, mass work order stage changes, Scheduling Module, More specific detail for labor metrics, retroactive time entry for identified individuals (Planner, Supervisor, Maintenance Manager).

Maintain X Rocks!
What do you like best about the product?
I have all my company projects in one place and can give clients access for free to submit work orders with photos and complete description to make sure there are no misunderstandings.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far I do not have any dislikes of Maintain X . It has been well received by everyone who uses the platform company wide and also with our large client base.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find that we save a lot of time trying to find emails and text messages as all the information is in one location. It's pretty simple, if there is no work order then the job does not get done.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It has changed the way I do business for the best and I recommend this software.
