Reliable system with a few quirks
What do you like best about the product?
Wide variety of searchable filters which making finding a specific (known) document easy and reliable.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search feature seems to glitch out at times and reuse a previous search when attempting new searches, thus returning 0 results. The "training" section is also rather difficult to navigate as it does not show a completion of said training unless you click on that training number.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our documentation, training and NC initiation procedures are utilized by Arena and its inner components. It is combinding several previously used services into one platform. Depedning on the user, the priviledges on Arena may change.
Great for start ups looking to start from scratch
What do you like best about the product?
I like the simplified UI and ease of creating new processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search feature could use work. Currently you have to select what type of document to search before typing it and it only works well when you select both the type of document and the sarch field first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Good traceability of manufacturing during an audit. Easy to cross link records and documents to parts of the BOM.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of adaptability to different implementations. Integrations are also very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that automations are currently only availble for the qualtiy module. Need to expand the project module capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Paperless using templates. Document control system is amazing and the ability to use QR codes for teams to get to specific documents.
Arena A Good Way To Keep It All Together
What do you like best about the product?
Most helpful and the upside of Arena PLM & QMS is being able to keep organized and collaborate with team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
Least helpful and the downside of Arena PLM & QMS is sometime it is hard to find things within the program and that takes extra time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being assured that things are backed up and everyone knows where to look and find things. Sometimes it takes a little bit of time but still, everything is there.
Arena is a fantastic QMS!
What do you like best about the product?
I greatly appreciate how straightforward and streamlined this eQMS software has been set up for document control and especially training for our company. Once the software is learned, implementing this system to use within the company has been very easy. The training world is something I use the most and the ability to automatically re-assign training documents is something I greatly appreciate.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one thing I dislike is the lack of visualization when it comes to reports and status of overall training for our staff. Having some kind of quick way to view this would be super helpful!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Arena has helped solved automatic retrains for documents in our training world. This makes tracking and assigning much more efficient.
Easy to use and great integration to Onshape
What do you like best about the product?
Arena is is PLM system that is easy to use and does not overcomplicate.
We love the integration between Onshape (CAD) and Arena.
Additionally, Arena has great support staff and support articles to help our users.

What do you dislike about the product?
Even if Arena is comparatively easy to use, PLM systems in general can be hard for users with no prior experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping control of the BOM of our products. Controlled and good processes for Engineering Changes & Requests.

It is the main tool for configuration control of all tecnical data of the product .

Arena has been an absolute lifesaver for us. Their system has so many deatailed ways of structuring it to fit how you do business.
Quite easy to intergrate into whatever type of businees you're in.
We're able to track & maintain records of every aspect of our R&D process.
We've set up an approval process for finalization as well as any changes or devations that arise.
Arena is a tool we use in our day to day process.
It's fairly intuitive, but you can get some basic training depending on how complex your requirements are.
The outside vendor access is such a timesaver. Their customer support is handled by very friendly & knowledgable individuals.

The only thing I wish was an option would be the ability to set custom color schemes.

Arena provides us with a single source repository for every step from design to release.
We can trace back any and everything that was done on a project and see exactky how we got there.

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to create a Bill of Materials, Items, Suppliers, Supplier Items, and Change Orders
What do you dislike about the product?
The Working Revision can be affected even if the Change Order is not approved.

It would be great if the system could use hyperlinks that could direct you to certain items.
