What do you like best about the product?
A robust BPMN engine, but pair it with domain-specific tools for full coverage.Camunda excels in automating data governance workflows (approvals, validations, lineage tracking) with its BPMN-based orchestration. Its strong integrations (APIs, databases) and audit logs enhance compliance. The open-source version is cost-effective, while enterprise offers scalability. However, it lacks built-in metadata management, requiring third-party tools (e.g., Collibra).
What do you dislike about the product?
Camunda’s BPMN-based workflow designer made it easy to model complex data governance processes, such as data validation, approval workflows, and metadata management.

As clear as Camunda makes processes – without clean process design and technical understanding, complexity can quickly backfire. Those who only model without considering the practical implications produce visual illusions instead of clarity.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is so fast and simple to optimize my existing processes. I can manage and change things also directly with the business owners so they can directly see the changes and also understand it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Right now, because of our existing escalation events we are not able to migrate our bmpn process into newer versions.

Tracking our processes so we see where to improve. Automating things we had to do by ourselves before.
