Wonderful tool useful in orchestrating complex business processes and workflow
What do you like best about the product?
Simplicity and there the community is amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
A few missing features in C7 which is being resolved in C8 (their latest versions).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Translate business workflow into a simple and readable steps in an language business can understand while being the exact flow developers used in driving the process.
Camunda is one of the best BPM options in market

Camunda components are powerful and offer most of the pieces you need for a bpm solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
As Camunda moved to cloud with version 8 it became expensive for many organizations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Camunda for our most critical processes and we are experimenting a lot of time savings, better coordination and productivity

BPM Use Cases
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the BPM Modeller that allows easy documentation of the workflow that can be communicated to both the business and technical teams. The UI is quite standard and user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some analytics and custom dashboards I wish Camunda can have more, mimicing the Tableau functionalities. The reporting piece can defintely be more robust.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Camunda is the process orchaestration layer using Kafka topics to extract critical data points from other systems to display on the UI. Any tasks completed there can be event driven to push data points to applicable downstream systems.
Camunda as a user friendly platform
What do you like best about the product?
As a professional that does not have a developer background, the platform is user friendly, simple processes can be modeled with little effort.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform itself is great, but I do miss a more detailed documentation regarding the database structure and the meaning of the data stored in each column
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The automatization of processes that were previously done by email. There was no way of measuring the efficience, and now we have plenty of KPIs

The ease of modeling, very practical.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a lack of more options... for example, inserting an external form in a more practical way, more connectors for technological platforms, and messaging. As I use Camunda 7. Camunda could affiliate with some educational platform in the technology area, here in Brazil we have Alura. Or it could create its own platform.

the modeling of the processes using bpmn, the stack is very useful.

poor options in the saas mode by example: ldap not associated to candidate groups.

to build build automatized business processes is great, however to build human workflows in my opinion camunda 8 has pitfalls. the tasklist doesn't allow associate candidate groups to an ldap. Is a big limitation. Also the saas solution hasn't the possibility to create tenants

What do you like best about the product?
Camunda makes it easy to separate tehincal integration implementations from business process orchestration, leading to ssystems where we can rapidly constuct new processes and features composed of existing building blocks.
What do you dislike about the product?
As an organization still using Camunda 7 and understanding that it will eventually reach end of support, the migration to Camunda 8 looks like a major technical obstacle.

Bringing manual, paper-based processes into the world of automation.

What do you like best about the product?
BPMN helps visualize and communicate workflows to multiple types of stakeholders. Using Camunda helps enforce design modularity and helps version control work fow proesses.
What do you dislike about the product?
One complexity introduced by Camunda relates to upgrading Java versions. Objects serialized in an earlier version of Java caused deserialization issues after upgrading to later Java versions. Can use JSON for serialization going forward however handling objects serialized with earlier Java versions - is a challenge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Camunda helps externalize and visualize complex workflows for both developers and customers/users. Users can easily see why workflow logic and steps are implemented. It's nice that the stakeholders and developers can convey the process logic using the same artifacts.
Open and efficient BPMS platform
What do you like best about the product?
Camunda Platform is quite friendly for developers to put in place and is well rekown in the industry for his capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Camunda Platform does not have french translation for his web apps out of the box.

Camunda Platform is used to orchestred human centric and system centric busines processes.
