Desining the workflows has became very easy
What do you like best about the product?
The cockpit, where we can check the status of our request, is very informative, so the developer can easily check and fix it, the way it gives the error messages is very helpful
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when we develop the code it will not pick as that much fast where this is lacking developers' time, so it will be helpful if it will pick the code as soon as we develop
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Developing the workflows became more easy and understandable, almost from past 3 years using camunda all these years it was a great experience and it is saving lot of time while developing frameworks
Camunda is the best workflow orchestration engine
What do you like best about the product?
Camunda is one of the best workflow orchestration engine i used, its very light weight and open source.Not only creating the business models it helps to create decision models . These can be integrated very easily using spring boot micro services.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see if we can create a user or system task adhocly in camunda running instance in future . This is something available in some of the old workflow engines which camunda is not supporting , when we migrated the app from old workflow tool to camunda this is the only feature i see its missed in camunda bitbwe managed with workaround of creating a new instance with same businesskey but there are some use cases which doesnt help through this workaround . I would love to see this feature in camunda
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Performance improvement compare to other workflow engine, developer friendly unlike other tools which are having toomuch dependency.Easily we can test the models or decisions

What do you like best about the product?
It supports standadized BPMN, visualization of. Workflow is also amazing. Its cloud agnostic and If SAAS offering not suitable then it also come up with on-premise solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much documentation/tutorials available and product support can be better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It eases the process automation which in past required a lot of effort and not much cost effective.
Business and developers talking the same language
What do you like best about the product?
With Camunda we got more visibility of our business process, we got a way to write executable documentation im a way that it never will be outdate, and i cant think of a single meeting today without opening some BPMN or writing a new one on Camunda modeles, because it really is the language that connect us all, business people and developers talking the same language. Other BPMS solutions offered some of this but most of them wants you to go full low code, and we technical people know that youll hit a big wall when you start to have complex cases. With Camunda we have the freedom to do what we do with the technologies we already love. Theres not a single person with a title like "Camunda Developer" at my company, because everyone of our java developers or other languages use camunda as a tool on their belt.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the only downside you can think as of now is the migration from 7 to 8, for us old heavy users. But camunda and community is working hard on bring solutions to help us migrate this, and we know the benefits from the new model, camunda 8 solve scalability problems that maybe you didnt had on your current load, but they are thinking big here. It will be even harder to any other BPMS solution compares in performance to what Camunda became.

The UI framework is not up to the mark.
The worklist is very basic and not sufficient for production system.

The platform solves orchestration problem. It is helping to automate business processes. Additionally, it is used to automate decision capabilities.

Its rpa and most of its connectors are not free to use except rest

What do you like best about the product?
The platform is user-friendly and easy to navigate and understand. The BPMN modeler lets us know the error, if any, in creating the workflow,
What do you dislike about the product?
Not able to undo the delete. eg, Once I collapse the pool and undo it, the whole workflow was deleted and could not be retrieved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes it easy to model the workflow using BPMN elements which are easily understood and can be implemented effectively by all stakeholders.
I love Camunda 8's flexibility
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it implements the bpmn spec and that it offers extensibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish camunda cloud would allow for access to the events that are being emitted from the engine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a business process platform that will run our processes and has the flexibility to allow us to process our own user tasks and service tasks, but handle all of the gateway/token logic for me.

Lack of integration with UI, makes for extra work to integration backend processes with presentation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation of long-running stateful business processes and orchestrating of stateless processes.
Camunda was and AFAIK is the best general purpose process engine by far.
What do you like best about the product?
The Camunda Cockpit allows our OPS to oversee our processes and interact with them. It's a very powerful tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to find a downside as it fits our needs perfectly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Camunda Platform can be used to orchestrate other systems. Especially within a microservice architecture, it is very helpful to visualize business processes.
