echo3D review
What do you like best about the product?
I like echo3D because it is easy to use and works very well for uploading, storing, sharing 3D assets. I liked the surprise - first month of ProPlan for half the price. Sharing my 3D assets using a QR code is super easy and efficient. Using a Slack support was also very helpful and quick response from echo3D team. Before echo3D i tried some other platforms and for my purposes echo3D is definetly the best solution. It is good to have multiple pricing plans to choose from
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes i feel echo3D is too simple and missing some fetures. Organising many 3D assests is difficult, there is to few assets fitting in one page i would prefer a tree-like folder organisation.
Difficult to control animations in 3D assets, metadata doesnt help very much
3D assets works properly only in Google Chrome, checked also a Xiaomi and Samsung browser and there were difficulities to open asset
When asset can not be open i am missing a comment why it can not be open, comment only appears when there is not enough credits
Difficult to understand credits to $
it would be great to have all possible metadata options (actions) explained in one place and easy to find

Easy sharing a 3D assets in AR to customers. It is great you can use only a browser to view a product 3D models in AR
Best platform for 3D modeling
What do you like best about the product?
echo3D is so helpful for 3D modelling and teaching students the implementation. It is easy to use and has a lot of models that are helpful even in everyday usage.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they had more trainign videos on the more advanced features.

3D modeling is all taken care of with echo3D
Long term experience with echo3D
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing I like is that we can use echo3D for multiple languages or frameworks. I first came across echo3D when I wanted to make an application using the Unity game engine but my friends wanted to do something the same using javascript and so I assisted them using the same models, just by using it in the javascript framework.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although the pricing framework is fine, if the free subscription could give more credits, it would be nice. A better approach would be we can purchase credits as required, so it would be much better according to me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I came across echo3D when I was developing games for hobby and felt that mobiles are improving performance day by day, and companies such as Microsoft, and Facebook are interested in AR, so I also wanted some application similar such as an inventory to visualize the products in there homes. Although it is at very premature state ( just in my computer and mobile) I liked that we can design the products on our own so this is very helpful. Maybe by final year of my graduation, this project will be live.
Using Echo3D for a faster Unreal Engine Workflow
What do you like best about the product?
I use Echo3D to help speed up the time it takes to build environments and scenes in Unreal Engine 5. It lets me control my assets and quickly use them in different applications. It has saved me countless hours while creating landscapes and environments in Unreal Engine 5.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although Echo3D has a lot of features, the documentation can sometimes be confusing. Searching for niche problems sometimes result in finding no solutions, which makes me have to find my own workarounds.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Echo3D lets me upload assets to the cloud, which I can then use for organizing my assets, rather than having them all be jumbled up on my workstation. Because of this, it is faster to find and use assets in my work, primarily in Unreal Engine 5.
Love creating and viewing 3D models in AR
What do you like best about the product?
I love creating and viewing 3D models in AR and was introduced to it 2 years ago in a hackathon. Extremely easy to use with a wide community to help you. It was easy to integrate within projects and the number of features are so many. We have been using it frequently for our projects now! Customer support is good as well!
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is a bit wonky but it's still really good, can't really pinpoint a thing when everything works well.

Well, I used it in one of my hackathon and it was really nice!

It's easy to learn and use with. I have used echo3D in many of my personal projects and found I can easily integrate with many softwares. I have also advised some of my clients to use it in their projects many times.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I come across some really weird errors and I look out for solutions in the documentation, but most of the times I can't get a solution there.

I learnt AR and VR development from echo3D. It acted as a stepping stone when I started out learning and making my career in it. Now I have made several personal projets. I also worked as a freelance AR/VR developer in the past . My biggest push that I got from echo3D is when I participated in echo3D hackathon and I won $25.

I found the platform to be easy to use for building real-time 3D applications, and its flexibility allowed me to create various types of applications, from showcasing 3D assets to interactive product demos.

I personally didn't dislike anything about echo3D but UI/UX can be improved.

While developing application for my oranisation I had problem storing and managing my 3D assets, but when I found out about echo3D it was all sorted. It also helps me to get analytics and see how my users interact with my application.
