Echo3D Core Data Deployment
Here are the details of what the Core Data CloudFormation template launches in the customer environment: A VPC with an Internet Gateway and a custom Subnet in the region the stack is run, S3 Buckets to house uploaded files, DynamoDB tables to store console data, Cognito User Pool and Cognito User Pool Client to handle user authentication
These resources are meant to persist during version upgrades so that the user data is not lost.
CloudFormation Template (CFT)
AWS CloudFormation templates are JSON or YAML-formatted text files that simplify provisioning and management on AWS. The templates describe the service or application architecture you want to deploy, and AWS CloudFormation uses those templates to provision and configure the required services (such as Amazon EC2 instances or Amazon RDS DB instances). The deployed application and associated resources are called a "stack."
Version release notes
Patch for vulnerability in Apache Tomcat 10.1.34. Upgraded to 10.1.40. Also updated the AMI and CloudFormation Stacks to contain most recent code features.

Usage instructions
To deploy the platform, the Core Data CloudFormation Stack must be run before the Application CloudFormation Stack. Once it has completed, run the Application Cloudformation Stack. The name chosen for the Core Data Cloudformation Stack will be entered as a parameter for the Application Cloudformation Stack.
Note that because the Core Data CloudFormation Stack's name is used as a prefix for some resources, it cannot contain capital letters and must be fewer than 15 characters long. The same rules apply to the NamingPrefix parameter for the Application Cloudformation Stack. Additionally, the NamingPrefix of the Application CloudFormation Stack may not end with trailing punctuation marks. Complying with these rules is essential to avoid failures in the deployment.
If you experience any other issues in the deployment of the CloudFormation Stacks, contact echo3D support and we will be happy to guide you through the process.
If there are any failures in the Core Data CloudFormation Stack deployment, delete the stack and rerun it. If there are any failures in the Application CloudFormation Stack deployment, you do not have to delete the Core Data CloudFormation Stack, only delete the Application CloudFormation Stack. Choose a new NamingPrefix when you rerun the Application CloudFormation Stack.
Once both stacks have finished successfully, access the application via browser at https://<NamingPrefix>.<DomainName>/
To connect to the operating system as necessary, use SSH and the username "ubuntu". All application controls are available via the command line by typing "commands /help".
