JAMF has been our go to management solution for several years
What do you like best about the product?
JAMF continues to keep us updated with Apple changes to ensure we are ready for each OS update. Their management solution makes it possible for me ( yes, a 1 person team) to manage over 20,000 devices on top of other duties.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since shifting to cloud hosting we have not had any complaints. Only dislike is the inability to change the time out that haunts me due management when I am switching between screens and am met with the dreaded I have been logged out screen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We recently shifted to Cloud management and are so grateful. With the Cover-19 shutdown I have not missed a beat, I am working from home and am able to support all of my end users as well as have the ability to allow enrollment and distribution of applications without requiring anyone to be on our home networks.
Jamf Pro is the gold standard in Apple MDM solutions.
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to find solutions to questions and problems I have on Jamf Nation or with Jamf Support.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of much if anything that I dislike about using Jamf. I have used other popular MDM solutions, but I feel like Jamf has been the best with their availability of information in forums and through their support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to be able to manage the Macs and iPads in our environment. This allows us to add a layer of administration that we couldn't do before. We use Jamf Connect to have our users authenticate with a source where we can control access.
Easiest way to manage Macs in enterprise
What do you like best about the product?
We use Jamf Pro to manage our couple of thousands Mac devices and we are really happy about it. The tool is very intuitive and easy to work with. We don't need a huge team of support engineers to maintain it as it's stable and has most of the features out of the box. On top of that Jamf Nation is a very friendly community where you can always find an answer to your queries without even contacting support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall we don't have any complaints about Jamf, just some features that might be missing but they are always implemented based on feature requests.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In our environment, Jamf Pro is used for multiple reasons: device enrollment, package management and distribution, security and maintenance, reporting.
Makes Administering macOS So Easy!
What do you like best about the product?
Configuration Profiles and the speed at which they deploy and update. We don't lock down a lot of things, but the ones we do need to be locked down, and this makes it completely possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Smart Group search criteria are OK, but it would be nice to have things like "greater than" or "less than" - maybe more commands like SQL has. I used to work with SCCM on Windows and it's able to get much more granular when searching.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are currently managing and enforcing policies on close to 3800 machines. This allows us to have a baseline configuration that makes troubleshooting and supporting devices so much easier.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Jamf Pro makes managing Macs and iOS devices in an enterprise environment super easy.
THE Premier MDM for your org

JAMF Pro is easy to set up, maintain and use daily.
Feature requests are always considered and it's amazing.
Feature requests are always considered and it's amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really to dislike about JAMF, could be pricey, but definitely worth it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly touchless deployments and reimages of macOS devices and 100% zero-touch iOS deployments.
JAMF is an effective way of managing devices.
What do you like best about the product?
JAMF is easy to use. I like the diversity scoping brings to the table allowing multiple combinations for creating groups, policies and so forth.
What do you dislike about the product?
Currently I do not have any dislikes with JAMF Pro as I am still new to using this. I do however would like to see a way to take Jamf courses 200 and up for individuals who would like to become certified and learn more without the endorsement of an employer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently I work in an environment that uses Jamf for iPad management only. The use of smart groups make it easy to control policies down to a specific device without having to manually add them. This also helps with future changes with the fleet and getting the correct policies and apps assigned.
Recommendations to others considering the product:

Jamf is easy to use and if you do have issues they have incredible technical support available.

Having everything at my fingertips . As well as the customer service and support.

Nothing, I believe it is a wonderful software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enrolling new laptops. Everytime I call for customer support they take the time to make sure I understand and they also send me emails to keep in touch.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need help with anything regarding this software the support team is extremely knowledgeable and willing to help.
Jamf Pro
What do you like best about the product?
It just works! Being able to send out a policy in one go to multiple of devices is a breeze. It saves so much time then having to go to each device to download or enter in a password. Using Jamf Pro has made it possible for our users to have a seamless experience when using their devices. The app Self Service comes in handy for the users to install apps or access documents that have been approved by the administration. Also, the community from Jamf Nation is a valuable resource to use. You can find scripts or pose questions to others on Jamf Nation as well as voting on feature requests. Anytime there have been questions or concerns the Jamf customer support has always been extremely helpful. Overall, I would recommend Jamf Pro to any company or school that wants to manage their Apple devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing! So far my experience with Jamf Pro has been very positive!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using an MDM like Jamf Pro has helped me send out hundreds of apps to devices in a matter of minutes! I can't say enough about how much time Jamf Pro has saved me. I do not have to be in front of someone's device in order to install or delete apps.
Have been using the product for 8 years now.... huge advocate for it.
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use. The simplicity. The scalability that it offers and delivers on.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think at the end of the day dislikes are going to vary..... I don't have any particular dislike that stands out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We will be taking a school district that has not had an Apple presents in 10+ years and delivering 25,000 iPads and 2,000 MacBooks within the next 6 months.
