Life saver
What do you like best about the product?
I can not comprehend how to manage Macs with such a variety of users, from 3D to web developer and from network engineer to Design creative
Plus they're in the same fruit bowl as Apple

cant find any, besides that GUI is sometimes missed goal

mass deploying to start with, everyone has the same settings

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to manage devices remotely with success. We have over 400 users on iphones and over 300 on Mac devices and this has made our 2 man shop a success
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the updates seem to be delayed
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Management, software updates, device tracking! We are no longer running from location to location to resolve issues.
Easy to setup and get started but incredibly powerful and customizable.
What do you like best about the product?
Simple configuration and good documentation. Super fast management of devices, most changes and updates are instant. Support is fast and knowledgeable they respond quickly and escalations are fast and smooth.
What do you dislike about the product?
They are at the mercy and whim of Apple which could be very bad if the wind changes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Inventory, device management, application management, AppleID control, updates, upgrades. New device deployment with zero touch.

What do you like best about the product?
Not that I was able to predict the future, but I've spent the past 3 years moving everything to the cloud and getting DEP and zero touch deployment set up. Pandemic hit and the Mac dept was the only department that was ready to ship new devices right to the users.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's pricey, but hey, I'm not paying for it! :p but you also get what you pay for and it's the best in class. I really like that they keep adding features, but it has gotten way more complex than when I started. Still a good thing, but to really take advantage of all the features you will need a dedicated person to just JAMF.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zero touch deployments and configuring VPN applications right from Self Service. No step two when installing configured applications and with JAMF connect now our password sycning is way better!
An excellent product to manage all your Apple products
What do you like best about the product?
Jamf has continued to grow and help more and more Apple admins to provide the best end-user experience. Jamf has zero-day support for Apple updates which makes support Apple products continue seamlessly. We have been using Jamf for seven years, and they continue to offer everything we need to meet our needs and keep getting better and better! I am always amazed how this product keeps up with the continuously changing Apple technology. It is awe-inspiring. We frequently wished that we could do something with our iPads, and then a few months later, guess what.......Jamf enabled us to manage the iPads the way we wished.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have been delighted with Jamf. The stuff that we disliked or wished we could do always seemed available in the next update. We are pleased with the way Jamf is constantly evolving and providing us with the tools we need to support our different end-users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are managing 1:1 iPad deployment in a 4500 student district. Jamf empowered us to have a seamless move to complete virtue learning during covid and into opening school as a hybrid last fall. Today it enables us to continue with 1:1 learning in-person and virtual depending on student choice.

What are you waiting for? Jamf is the best way to manage Apple!
Amazing "Must Have" for Apple deployments
What do you like best about the product?
Jamf is a full MDM solution! It has is all! It provided a way to handle all the "I wish" requests when we first deployed iPads and has given us so much more!
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be daunting at first, I struggled mightily at first, but the online training was superb and then a Jump Start helped answer the questions that arose after hobbling along!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to quickly deploy new devices! This year I started learning how to redeploy devices and have seen what a great job it does.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would highly recommend getting the Jump Start up front!

What do you like best about the product?
It's hard to narrow it down to one thing I like the best. Jamf Pro is full of features that I love to use. It's ease of use and it's support team are awesome.
What do you dislike about the product?
The least helpful is the for me is the lack of documentation on how to get the best performance from the Tomcat server. I wish that the interface was faster to respond.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We solved the issue of managing our Mac and iOS infrastructure in a consistent fashion and we look forward to more integration with Jamf Protect to secure our fleet.

Take the leap. You will not be disappointed.

I love how we can deploy without touching the device
What do you dislike about the product?
We need a feature to allow the facetime camera but to block the camera in the web browser. So User's cant livestream.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can deploy and fix most of our issues remotely, My team and us we love it.
Excellent Solution to our AD and MDM
What do you like best about the product?
I like how it's very simple to manage and integrate all of our Apple and MDM devices. The policies are easy to create and deploy. It simply works.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in particular as it has been our solution for our Apple product environment deployment and management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was difficult to manage Apple devices on a predominately Windows environment especially when it the device is off site. We could manage and push policies to devices whenever we like.

It's a great solution for your Apple and mobile device environment.
