Comprehensive Solution for Apple device Management
What do you like best about the product?
Jamf Pro stands out as a robust and sophisticated solution for managing Apple devices in a professional environment. With its comprehensive suite of features and user-friendly interface, no doubt its the leading enterprise management tool for macOS and iOS devices. I like the ability to automate, manage stuffs to a granular level annd easily take care of security, compliance.

So far my experience is good.. Only think that I would like to be improved is more contents and examples in Jamf KB articles.

What do you like best about the product?
The staff are always on the latest CVEs or issues related to Apple device management. Jamf Pro has a workflow for anything you want to do related to managing these devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be difficult to rollout without help, however, Jamf implementation team is great at helping to mitigate this learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Apple does not provide comprehensive management options without leveraging a 3rd party MDM solution. Jamf makes it possible to restrict portions of the OS that need to be limited for security, update software that needs to be kept current, and provide a credential integration with 3rd party solutions for login.

i have been using the platform for 2/3 years now and only one thing can get annoying is the password conflict with Intune

The best MDM for Apple devices
What do you like best about the product?
Jamf Pro is the most flexible and powerful tool to manage Apple devices. Policies and Configuration Profiles are a straightforward process. Smart Groups help you to apply settings to only selected devices. It integrates seamlesly with Entra IdP. Jamf Connect accounts password are always in sync avoiding having two separate accounts. PreStage Enrollments makes the process of enrolling machines easier. Extension Attributes allows you to create your own attributes and then utilize them to scope policies, config profiles, etc. Mac Apps installer is great way to manage applications lifecycle, from installation to patching. Jamf Support is one of the best Support teams in the industry. When you open a support ticket, a knowledgeable engineer takes your case and if they cannot fix the issue the ticket gets escalated with a SME within hours.
For Jamf Pro implementation there are two flavors, on-prem and Cloud. Having it in the cloud is easier because you don't have to worry about servers, storage, networking, etc. Only an internet connection is required and Jamf Pro server patching is done automatically or can be done on demand once a new version is released.

What do you dislike about the product?
as every product it has its downsides but those are mostly things that one would prefer instead of other. For example, when using Mac Apps installers, there’s no way to tweak how often apps get deployed. Sometimes it can take up to 6 hours to install one. But honestly, that’s not too bad when you think about how other MDMs can take 24 hours or even longer to push or install an app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A device can be deployed faster, usually takes about 20 minutes and another 40 to 50 minutes to install the apps that user needs depending on the case. Mac Apps installers makes application lifecycle very easy. There are a lot of third-party solution for app lifecycle like Installomator, which is a great tool to automate app patching and updates.

Jamf Pro centralizes Apple device management, enhancing security through policy enforcement and timely updates. It provides comprehensive visibility into device inventory and security posture with real-time reporting. This allows for proactive threat management, improved compliance, and streamlined security workflows.
An Amazing Upgrade
What do you like best about the product?
Having my devices under managed care is the reason I do not need an assistant. The ease of use combined with the confidence of knowing my devices will not be lost, stolen, out dated and disconnected extinguishes my worry over the fold. Every time I log into the Jamf Pro software I find another gem to use in the management of my devices. Peace of mind and ease of use are what make this a winner for our company. I use this application so often, 50 + times a week, I could not do what I do for our company without Jamf. Your software has made me a superstar with the team as they are always amazed at control I have over the devices and applications. Thank You for making me look real good.
What do you dislike about the product?
Every time I question "if" something is possible with Jamf Pro I usually find it is. My disappointment lasts minuets and then I am happy again. Nothing so far has made me dislike this application.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have over a hundred devices and more to come. Jamf makes my job easy and allows me to implement other services as i am not chained to the MDM software. I work alone and manage 170+ mobile devices, 52 PC's , a server room, security systems, and every credential for windows and apple and I can do this because of Jamf. What a time saver.
IT is one of the best ways to manage IPAD's.
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to find and lock lost IPAD's.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is an Apple issue but you have to lock the IPAD before you can get a location. This is due to Apple's security.

Jamf Pro makes managing Apple devices a piece of cake.
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is very intuitive. Anyone in IT can figure how JAMF works within minutes of using the system. I love the response time as well between the devices and Jamf. As soon as I hit update inventory it gets to the device near instantly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't really say I have any dislikes. I really like the Jamf Pro platform!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can deploy iPhones to our maintenance team in a matter of minutes. We also use an application called Redzone that runs on iPads and deploying over 100+ of these devices took minimal effort thanks to Jamf!
