The Data Catalog feature stands out most to me because it is organized, faster, and there are good integrations with other tools.

It's impressive how easily you can describe your data products.

Verifying the code is quite challenging and not straightforward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It addresses the issue I faced when people interested in purchasing my data product would repeatedly have to ask me how to request it and what the tables mean, among other things.

Effective Toll for building out robust, intelligent, and scalable data management and governance
What do you like best about the product?
Collibra has great out-of-the-box functionality to realise the principles of active metadata management and boost the value that can be derived from enterprises data whilst also adressing risks around compliance.
What do you dislike about the product?
To build an effective and mature implementation realising value from a more advanced use case an in-depth knowledge of the platform and data management is required.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At its core, Collibra delivers an easily maintainable, collaboratively and automatically enriched data discovery experience reducing the time it takes for users to find good quality trusted data. But the benefits of Collibra are much wider than this. Collibra sits well to integrate the multiple different practices to better use metadata to increase scalability and ensure policies and standards are kept to across the enterprise. Form better managing AI use cases to drive compliance with the EU AI act and improve the success rate of POCs; to analysing the root cause of DQ issues through technical linage and automatically notifying down stream process, collibra can support.

Helping in data governance and cataloguing
Going from No one in Data Quality Governance to someone with a better understanding of it now.
What do you like best about the product?
The easy User Inetrface (UI) and to implement it is also easy to work with it and the one place one application to get all data catalog/dictionary/lineage/qaulity so easy to toggle rather looking for buliding connections with multiple tools. Even the Integration on the tool with other tool is very easy.

The study material is still very less avaialble for its overall capabilites.

It is helping us and our enrprise to get the data governace and quality on track.

With Collibra, we loved the fast and pain free implementation using Collibra's professional services, the intuitive user interface, ultimate flexibilty for our data mesh & data domain framework, licensing model, and expandability with thei Data Quality module for purchase.
What do you dislike about the product?
Terminology can be a little bit challenging, but learning it isn't complicated. Their search bar could use some upgrades and they are in process so we are looking forward to the new search and the redesigned user interface in 2024.

Collibra has helped us with data discovery, trust, and data lineage. As we mature with our usage and enrichment of Collibra, we plan to reduce data discovery by 4x to speed up data product delivery to our customers.

What do you like best about the product?
Data Governance and Data Quality capabilities have improved since we first we used it, AI-powered options have come up

Security wise we found it could've been better but since our org have started it for Data Governance usage it has slowly built the trust

Solves Managers problems related to having an oversight of what all teams have been working upon and team leads are able to understand and collaborate with other teams

Still bit difficulties with manual import of assets (mapping logic is badly designed specially for relations)

We use collibra as one stop shop for metadata preview for general user. So user dont have to learn and look to multiple systems before finding data.
