iCIMS has greatly improved my productivity and ability to communicate with hiring mangers!
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to share candidates with hiring managers, communicate with candidates, get approval for offers and keep all the details electronically in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything. I liked the recruit product so much less than a year later I got approval to add the onboarding product. It has been wonderful!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been able to take the process from emailing candidates back and forth to managers to forwarding them directly to hiring managers. Then when they are ready to make and offer I go directly through the system for the offer approval process, the offer, background & drug testing, moving directly to onboarding. It keeps everything all in one place. It is very organized and efficient! This doesn't even mention approval of new jobs, posting, getting them on our internal & external job boards. We also post them to regular job boards and niche job sites through iCIMS. It has been such a wonderful tool!!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would defiantly switch again. Take a look it is worth the money and the time to get your process just the way you want it!! We are getting better candidates.

What do you like best about the product?
Streamlining of our Recruiting process, easy way to manage all applicants and open requisitions in a concise system.
What do you dislike about the product?
Administration settings are a bit confusing to set up and update. Some tasks have an excessive amount of clicks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enhanced reporting on key Recruiting metrics is a significant plus. This is also the key business problem we are solving, previously we had no recruiting metrics to show effectiveness of our recruiting methods and recruiters.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hard to say as we have only been live for 2 months, but if you are looking for a system with significant reporting capability then this is the system you want.
Great ATS
What do you like best about the product?
I think iCIMS is an extremely user friendly ATS. It is very easy to use and does exactly what you need it to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it's integration with other job boards could be improved and simplified.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The business problem it's solving for us is basically being able to track the significant number of applicants we have coming in for a high amount of openings, as well as the overall recruiting process up to new hire. It is definitely very effective for this, especially keeping track of communication with applicants.

It's such a great tool for Human Resources and Talent Acquistion to have.
Great product
What do you like best about the product?
iCIMS is very easy to use, user-friendly. Customer service and support is great as well. They will work quickly to solve any problem you my have.
What do you dislike about the product?
System can sometimes be slow. Not always the easiest to customize the system to your liking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use this as an ATS. Not necessarily solving problems but keeping problems from arising.

I have used half a dozen ATS products, iCIMS is my favorite by far.
I like ICIMS but it has been very difficult for the integration with our payroll company

The way you onboard people easily and they get their paperwork all in one email.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it is difficult when they submit a form and it isn't right.

We are using this to keep all forms on the platform and being consistent with all new hires
Recommendations to others considering the product:
it is fairly easy best if you have issues to call early in the morning. Support help staff is great first thing in the morning. Very appreciative of the help they give when you say that there are specific issues. They are great at helping you try new things or walking you through problems.

What do you like best about the product?
How configurable it is. Service & reporting abilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
The last upgrade caused problems with one of our intergrations but we were not made aware of this. Had to find out on our own.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
More engagement with our managers in the TA process. More robust reporting that has helped us identify problems and effiencies. Better candidate application & onboarding experience.

The way to get around the system is easy

Some of the features are not friendly user and do not have enough training

Looking for the right candidate for certain hard to fill positions
It is a good product that helps me perform my job on a daily basis

I like how it is easy to use. It is very simple which is nice. It does not over complicate things.

I don't like the new update. I don't like when I have to switch back from work flows and notes when writing about a candidate. It slows down my process

A solid CRM
What do you like best about the product?
The software is trustworthy and reliable. iCims won't let you down. It is a professional piece of software that is also easy to learn and intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is ugly, even when you click on both colour schemes. I spend a lot of my day looking at it, however it is not too pleasant to look at. The quality of software has increased so much recently and people are used to perfected and pretty design - there is no excuse for it to look like its from 2005.
Competitors avature and bullhorn are prettier I know they are built on javascript which offer a wider range of aesthetic features. The steps are often clunky, slow and time-consuming, when every minute counts it is a drain on resources when it takes 3 minutes to input a new candidate. I'm not sure why you have to load a new page at every step, on other CRM's you can do it all on the same page without reloading it and using up time.

We solved the problem of tracking candidates and having all of our information in one place. Now everyone can go to iCims to see the latest information this helps if someone is away on vacation or if they are ill - it is easy to pick up from where they left off. There is also good features on confidentiality so only certainly people can see particular roles/candidates.

It's customizable, can add video easily, has an app
What do you dislike about the product?
Hiring managers complain the app doesn't load, th implementation is all self done, only self directed learning causing a very long ramp up period. Still don't feel like I know how to use the system.
