It has more features than we know what to do with

What do you like best about the product?
Everything is very customizable. iCIMS allows us to easily track and communicate our interviewing, hiring, and onboarding processes. Receiving help and support from their service team is always pleasant, and we receive quick solutions that empower us to know how to solve them in the future (if they were to arise again).
What do you dislike about the product?
There is almost too much customizable options. We appreciate the freedom to make decisions on our business processes, but sadly, we don't utilize the software to it's fullest capabilities. It's like we're driving a Porsche only to get groceries and nothing more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to carefully and clearly track candidates, communicate with them up through hiring, and there is clear visibility with the progress of their candidacy.

Great ATS System

What do you like best about the product?
iCims is very user-friendly and great for candidates and hiring managers to have the ability to communicate with one another via email threads that come straight to your inbox. Fantastic that you can upload the appropriate templates needed for different processes throughout the candidate experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that it would make the candidates reviewed and rejected go away. I don't want to see who got rejected. I just want to emphasize on those who are new. Also, it should sync with Microsoft Teams since all interviews are conducted on that platform, yet it needs to be logged into icims.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To my knowledge I don't know about any problems. That is left up to the executive team. For what I'm utilizing this platform for in regards to recruitment, it does the job sufficiently.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to contact individuals and gather the information that is best used to help in our hiring practices. It is by far one of the most user-friendly services on the market, and I would recommend it further.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I have not found anything that does not work well. I will have more information as we progress further, and I will be sure to open that up once I get further into the program
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem that iCIMS Talent Cloud is solving for us is that it is much more user-friendly than our previous ATS. It will benefit us by making it easier for our staff and personnel to track applicants and move them through the process.

What do you like best about the product?
Having most of the data you need readily available to you. Reporting on specific metrics and creating visuals for the leaders of the company is a great tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Finding the fields needed for reporting is not always needed. It's also difficult to pull in all data needed because you can't cross the workflows that aren't "connected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps with pulling analytics and being able to provide those numbers with just one click. We need that information quickly so being able to provide that makes it easier for us.

Need better support

What do you like best about the product?
The customizability for our workforce and recruiters.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reliance on support to do those customizations. Additionally, the support times and responses are lackluster and I end up trying to figure it out on my own. I am a system administrator but cannot actually do true configurations, enhancements, and other items we need and want due to the reliance on support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The recruiting and onboarding workflow automation. We recently implemented the offer management tool which has been a great way to standardize and automate the offer process.

Great in theory, terrible in execution

What do you like best about the product?
The step-by-step instructions for employees is very easy to follow along and is not intimidating
What do you dislike about the product?
We purchased iCIMS to be able to quickly deliver videos that could be edited by our team. However, as we began to use it more and more, evidently, we used up too much of the server bandwidth, and now *everything* has to go through their developers to get any edits done. This has KILLED any productivity on my end, and my turnaround time for stakeholders is completely out of my hands. This 'solution' has now proved to be one of my most frustrating, and I am already looking to cancel our contract.

To create and edit videos easily from employee submissions

Platform is great, implementation not so much

What do you like best about the product?
It's an applicant tracking system. It's pretty user-friendly, and so far reporting abilities seem to be on par with other ATSs I've used. As an admin, having access to configure the system is helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Implementation has been a nightmare. There's no 'official' training on the system, and the people involved in the implementation of the system are expected to be the expert users who train the rest of the organization while also keeping up with implementation tasks. It takes too long to be assigned new technical resources (during implementation), create new iForms, or work through technical issues (after product launch).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reporting and analytics - we were handling data manually and no longer have to do this. Improving recruiter efficiency is another big deal.

It's hard to navigate at first but once you are comfortable with the tool, it's user friendly.

Highly Customizable and all about the data

What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to learn the system. Everything is very user-friendly. As a system admin it is easy for me to customize dashboards, modify drop-downs and add new fields. The data the system provides out of the box is very helpful for making business decisions and understanding root issues of why a job might be taking a long time to fill.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not the biggest fan of support. The chat agents don't seem fully knowledgeable and any ticket opened takes a while to respond to or does not give you enough information to help you solve your problem. There seems to be a disconnect with technical people and HR people.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
iCIMS has really helped our business to understand the data and make better business decisions. We really enjoy the analytical tools and are excited to see that progress more in the future.
