Robust System with Many Opportunities to Customize to Your Workflow
What do you like best about the product?
Powerful system to take you through the entire recruiting and onboarding process. Integrations for most any need and with some configuration, a lot of reporting capabilities. Relatively user-friendly from an admin perspective if you're techologically inclined. We live in iCIMS every day to provide our candidates a seamless recruiting experience. Our account team provides tremendous support and the chat feature and recent advancements in the self-service capabilities has been a big win!
What do you dislike about the product?
Newer features lack some customization abilities when it comes to notification functions, but with iCIMS' openess to implementing customer feedback this could ultimately shift. Some reporting functions are difficult due to the partioning of information in the system requiring manipulation of data outside of the system to bring reports together to tell the full story. Working with support can be laborious at times even with tasks that should be pretty straightforward and sometimes I just wish I could take care of the issue myself, but don't have the access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Recent conversations around automization will help tremendously to streamline our current processes. Integrations with Teams and Outlook are providing more efficient processes around interview feedback and scheduling.
Dated but improving
What do you like best about the product?
It is a very intuitive system with a decent ability to customize
What do you dislike about the product?
It feels dated and clunky. Looks very dull. Tough to manage very large numbers of jobs.

It organizes our candidates and helps our hiring managers see candidates and process their hires.

What do you like best about the product?
Reporting once you understand their structure is pretty good
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't administer role security yourself. Confusing design for an administrator. Unable to do a role automation based on termination. Once roles are created in the system, you cannot remove them. Navigating the platform is complex and while it's configurable, many of the changes require support to be able to accomplish as there isn't great resources on this. Offer letters are only able to be approved via email - the system doesn't have capabilities for Hiring Mangers/Approvers to go in and approve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating jobs, posting jobs, processing applicants, connecting to our background screening vendor, creating offers, submitting to our HRIS system.
Reliable platform but customer service is impossible
What do you like best about the product?
The platform was stable and reliable for the 12 years we were on it. They are relatively efficient for processing high volumes of resumes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer service is impossible. It takes days or weeks to get answers to questions, and the answers often don't solve the problem. And if you want to get your data out to migrate to another platform, well, I'm waiting weeks for that right now. We selected Crelate for their native integrations with other services like RingCentral for texting capability. The cost of that in iCims was far too high.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ats and customization abilities

I wish all of the add-ons did not cost more and were included in the ATS package

we just use it as an ATS internally, we do not have any of the add ons
