Most of the features and capabilities we implemented for our clients using the Veeam backup solution revolve around enhancing their backup processes. These include functionalities such as backup encryption, immutable storage, integration with various object cloud storage platforms like AWS Cloud, and ensuring compatibility with multiple object cloud platforms.

The backup and disaster recovery process within the Data Platform is exceptionally user-friendly. Whether you're performing a backup or restoring data, the graphical user interface makes it straightforward. All capabilities can be accessed with ease, thanks to the intuitive design of the interface.

The reliability of the Veeam Data Platform has been consistently satisfactory in our deployments. We have encountered no issues, and all of our clients have expressed satisfaction with its performance.

We are particularly pleased with the DIP, especially given our focus on the Nutanix platform. DIP with Nutanix virtualization has been especially valuable to us.

The inclusion of important functions and capabilities, such as ransomware protection and scanning, was crucial. It's noteworthy that these features are already available in version twelve, which is a significant enhancement.

When utilizing Veeam to manage RTO and RPO objectives, the primary focus lies in minimizing recovery time (RTO) and ensuring effective project or object management. Branches, especially those with high IO and ITO demands, such as those in SANX deployments, prioritize data visibility before backup and archiving. Typically, lower RPOs are managed by the recovery features of the virtualization layer. Our primary aim is usually to achieve the shortest RPO feasible within the specified parameters. However, in our deployments, the shortest configured RPO is based on the specific requirements of our clients.

Managing multiple cloud environments with the Veeam Data Platform is highly effective. The platform offers robust support for major cloud providers like AWS. I've personally tested its integration with AWS and iOS and found it to be extremely straightforward and user-friendly.

Veeam Data Platform offers features specifically designed for ransomware defense. This includes the ability to integrate with immutable repositories, safeguarding your data against ransomware attacks. Additionally, the platform provides integrated anti-malware detection capabilities, and it allows seamless integration with third-party endpoint security solutions to further enhance data security.

I think there's an opportunity for improvement in terms of the supported operating systems for the Veeam Data Platform. Currently, it's limited to the Windows operating system, excluding Linux environments. Expanding its compatibility to include Linux would represent a significant advancement.

We use it to back up all of our virtual machines, including those on hardware and Hyper-V solutions, and some of our physical machines.

It allows us to perform instant recovery for SIM machines. This means that we can quickly install the configuration and check whether the machine is operational or not. This efficient process allows us to assess the status and decide to proceed or make necessary adjustments. Unlike traditional methods that may take up to two hours for restoration, our instant recovery feature enables us to recover in as little as five minutes, providing a prompt evaluation of the machine's functionality.

The standout feature for us is instant recovery. Additionally, we have the capability to replicate our repository in various clouds. It proves highly beneficial as we only need to configure a single repository and instruct it to replicate all backups that we have on-premises.

I would like to improve Cloud application, as well as disaster recovery since we must export our data from our buildings to another location. It would be beneficial to have enhanced solutions for database backup, particularly for Oracle databases in the context of SAP systems.

I have been working with it for two years now.

I would rate its stability eight out of ten.

Scaling up the system requires significant resources, necessitating the use of knowledge base tools dedicated to both storage and virtualization. I would rate it seven out of ten. We utilize it daily with a user base of a thousand individuals. Going forward, we have plans to expand its usage further.

The customer support is outstanding. Whenever I open a case, there is always a prompt and highly effective real-time response. I find it fair, quick, and competent. I would rate it ten out of ten.

However, due to the company's shift to another provider, we were unable to continue using the product. The integration with Google Cloud was limiting, and as we required an on-premises solution, we had to explore alternatives.

Setting up the system was a straightforward process for us. We were able to do it independently without the need for a solution partner, making it a convenient and practical experience. I would rate it eight out of ten.

The installation is straightforward, but managing the system can be challenging, as it may require installing various tools on different machines. Consequently, a substantial infrastructure is necessary, involving approximately ten servers for the complete solution. The deployment process took approximately three weeks. Initially, we devised a plan, followed by the design phase. Once the design was finalized, we proceeded with the installation and implementation. The deployment was carried out in-house, with the involvement of two to three individuals.

I would rate it ten out of ten in terms of ROI.

It comes with a higher cost and it is an all-inclusive solution. I would rate it nine out of ten.

We evaluated three products, namely Cohesity and Rubrik, and after careful comparison, we opted for Veeam.

It necessitates careful consideration of factors such as the volume of data to be backed up, the number of servers in play, and the requirement for proxy servers. Overall, I would rate it eight out of ten.

I use Veeam ONE in my company to provide customer backup reports if required. Veeam ONE is also useful for monitoring any issues with the current server. My company views logs from Veeam ONE to see if there is any solution that we can give to customers. My company uses Veeam ONE to look at what advice we can give customers to ensure that all their servers are always protected.

The benefit I get from the product is that it is a sophisticated monitoring tool that helps our company's team, along with the infrastructure team, view the current status of all the servers monitored with Veeam ONE.

The most valuable feature of the solution is that it offers a very sophisticated interface to view, making it a bit easier for our company's operations team to take care of the monitoring part involving the current status of the server and server backup status.

I think there are no suggestions from my end for an improvement of Veeam ONE.

The user experience can be better, as it is one of the areas with shortcomings in the product.

I feel Veeam ONE has no downsides apart from its reporting area, which can be improved in such a way that its users can customize more of the report templates in an in-depth manner. I think there are improvements in Veeam ONE that I can see, including the tool's area that provides more flexibility in generating reports for its customers to view.
