Excellent platform for consolidating a breadth of information.

What do you like best about the product?
Great, quick resource to utilize during a question on a call. Helpful resource for sales professionals to better internal products, and speak to those products effectively, efficiently and accurately in conversations with prospects. As an SDR, my product knowledge is not quite that of an Account Executive, who is used to speaking about the products on a day-to-day basis. Highspot has helped better inform me of how to position certain products by making the high-level information readily available at my fingertips.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm fairly new to Highspot, and learning new technology can be difficult. This is moreso on my end but I will continue to tap in to it as a resource to get more and more comfortable. Additionally, it would be nice to have follow up training to better understand certain elements of product. We had a pretty comprehensive one-time training, but my learning style is more conducive to consistent check-ins to see how the technology is sitting
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helped me in my personal product education, so I can learn more information as I go. Conversations are made easier with prospects, and even follow-up (if I'm not able to pull up the content real-time on a call) is made easier, as I can go back and reference certain product knowledge to later send to my prospects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would highly recommend other organizations to use Highspot. It's a great tool that I can see value in for multiple different facets of the business, but particularly for our sales organization. I've seen, and have heard others on my team say, that being able to study product on their own time to better educate themselves and ultimately, their prospects, have helped uplevel them as a professional. The user interface is intuitive and I'm excited to dive deeper into the tool as we go along

Great Sales Enablement Tool

What do you like best about the product?
Highspot is great for sharing content with my prospects. It's great to see what content is resonating best with the people I'm talking to, and ultimately what is driving our conversations.

It's also a fantastic place for seeing all the content my organization has available to our clients, prospects, and our company as a whole. We utilize our Highspot significantly, so I'm able to find any and everything from whitepapers to potential talk tracks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think to fully utilize this tool you need more than a surface level understanding. It's not something I've had formal training on, so it's mostly been learning on the go.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Access to all our content in one place.
Easy to access training, talk tracks, sales guidelines.
Ability to share content that prospects will actually see value you.

Great Content Management for Organizations

  • February 18, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I loved the ability to create hyperlinks of materials that I needed to send follow-up to prospects. I also really liked, how you can remix content from different slide decks to create custom ones for your prospects. It's a great and organized way to see what material is there to use while sharing material amongst different teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not for every size company. I feel like HIghspot can be good use for middle size companies, it can get messy sometimes if there is no admin watching over the materials because anyone can upload documents. The UX of the platform can hinder you to find relevant things that you need if you are looking for something in specific.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm saving time by having the ability to send prospects catered follow-up. Without needing to send them generic marketing material that I already have, HighSpot has saved me so much time to look through the content that I own, Contract Templates, and other marketing materials that our team creates to send to prospects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
When looking at HighSpot and seeing if it is good for your business, ask what business problems are you trying to solve. Is it absolutely necessary at the phase that you're in to use a content management software to send to prospects and makes thing easier for your team. You should also dedicate someone to manage the material on Highspot because it can get very messy if there is no one managing the content.

Honestly, I have nothing negative to say, not any feedback to suggest anything short of an amazing experience.....
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Marketing material organized, easy to search and the benefits are outstanding.

Seamless Sharing Sans Email

  • February 14, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Highspot allows us to share everything from report templates to marketing collateral seamlessly, securely across our business.

The latest versions of files are always available, removing the worry about having the latest approved version.

No more headaches - at least not when it comes to document sharing!
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigability can sometimes be confusing - but you always get there in the end.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Emailing files - never knowing if you've got the latest - clogging up email and inboxes - makes sharing a breeze.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Ensure a full understanding of your requirements are mapped to Highspot's capabilities

Great Platform, Amazing Partner

  • February 14, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Highspot has completely changed the way our organizations manages sales and marketing assets. The platform is universally loved, from the marketing team that creates and manages content to the account development and sales teams that can now self-serve content, we are saving both time and money every single day with Highspot.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more licenses types available for users that do not need full functionality. We have many users that would love to access the content, but it's not feasible to pay the full license fee for casual or non-GTM users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Highspot, sales reps were saving assets to their desktops and using outdated versions of sales decks and sheets. Plus, they were not aware of the breadth of assets that existed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
One of the main reasons we chose Highspiot is due to the ease of being an administrator. We have multiple content creators who upload content and manage their own spots. It does not require in-depth or ongoing training.

Highspot's Search is the Real Deal

  • February 14, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
When we first evaluated sales enablement tools, search was the most important feature. Highspot's full content index produces the best results by far, making it the easiest platform for sales teams to find the right content at the right time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Highspot is working on their 3rd party platform partnerships and some more robustness there would be appreciated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sales readiness, Sales training. Sales Teams can find the right content at the right itme.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you do a content audit in advance so you know what you need to bring over to Highspot vs. what you can toss away and not worry about.

Great tool for streamlining internal and external communication!

  • February 14, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love having the ability to quickly add content to emails, especially through the Outreach connection. Adding content through the Outreach pop out is a huge time saver and allows me to tee up emails for different types of client scenarios. I also love having a digital environment for organizing my territory. I have spots set up for each of my accounts, and it helps to have a home for content related to each account. I also love the integration with Word/ Powerpoint, as it allows me to house and copy from past presentations to create a more linear customer journey.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that "spots" are internal only, as it would be helpful to have a digital file area that could be shared externally to customers. Not just one document at a time, but a living file area that my customers can hop into for resources specific to their team and company. For example, an investment banking client with 100+ people using our software can have a digital place to visit and see documents most relevant to them.

I also dislike that we aren't able to create folders within spots, or just the general user experience of not being able to organize within my spots other than alphabetically or by date added. I would for example want to be able to control sections within my spot to focus on different types of content, like "business reviews", "onboarding content", etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having access to HighSpot allows me to save tons of time that would otherwise be spent tracking down customer facing collateral. I am solving the problem of feeling disconnected from other departments, especially marketing. This tool is really bridging the gap between marketing/ sales/ product/ customer success. It's also bringing a lot of transparency to our organization in terms of being able to see our product roadmap within highspot/ uploading decks from team presentations into highspot and being able to access them at any time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would go to the user level and test out a case study with someone who would actually be using the tool, and think through all of the workflows that are most valuable to communication within your organization. I think you'll find that HighSpot has a lot of use cases and it will be helpful to evaluate through the lens of your company.
