What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use. We evaluated several other tools that had similar capabilities. Highspot was the easiest from an administrative and end-user experience, which is key for adoption.
What do you dislike about the product?
Most of my struggles have been internal to our company and some of the challenges getting integrations and connections. I don't have many complaints about the tool at this time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting marketing content into sales reps hands efficiently and accurately. No more searching dropbox or saving to their desktop and sharing old content. Tracking is great for both Marketing and Enablement teams to know what content is performing so we can adjust priorities and projects.

We are just starting to really dig into using it now for Sales Training and Enablement. The possibilities are endless and its a great way to present training to sales and track who is using the tool how they are engaging with it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The support is outstanding for this product. They really helped us to get set up for success and continue to support us with anything we need. They are willing to join a call when needed and truly have invested in understanding our business goals and are helping us to achieve them.

The tool itself is also great, our sales teams have often said that "This is the best new tool you have given us to date!"

What do you like best about the product?
Highspot is a great way for the teams to deliver content and information to a global team in a way that is easy to use, easy to find and easy to track. It is a rare piece of software that is quickly embraced by a sales team.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some smaller feature / function areas for improvement. The recent changes to the gmail integration reduce the analytics benefit. Would like Highspot to create new contacts in salesforce if content reaches a new person not yet in our database.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We purchased Highspot to give our selling teams a place to go to find the latest content. Historically, teams have all been using their own places - which made it hard for the teams to always find content or find the latest content. Those “searching” issues have been solved.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the functionality of being able to customize the homepage for content relevant to our sales audience. I like the analytics to track if and how teams are engaging the content we are creating. And the ability to organize content in a way that makes sense for our org, and easy to find what you are looking for.
What do you dislike about the product?
I sometimes get frustrated with the overwhelming amount of content, but that is really on our end. The archive functionality makes it easy to hide/de clutter content without losing it forever.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
What content are our sales and CS teams are using which allows us to really focus on developing content that will get used.
How customers are interacting with our content.
A repository of content all in one place, instead of multiple sharepoint sites, google drive, etc. Our sales/CS team can access all of the content they need, all in one place.

World Class Sales Enablement Platform

What do you like best about the product?
I have used Highspot at two companies now, one where there were around 2000 salespeople and now at a smaller company with around 50 and growing. I find Highspot unique in that the integrations are allow salespeople to continue with their normal workflow and add value through the platform as well as a beautiful platform that users can use separately.
What do you dislike about the product?
There were some integration hiccups initially with my second implementation but that was mostly because our timeline was very short. We had a week and a half to stand up the platform. In my first implementation we had about 6 months to set up which I think was appropriate for the amount of content we had. Make sure you plan this out with enough time to audit your content and implement more strategically. The Highspot team is hyper-responsive and helped put out all of our fires quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sales and deals are able to close and we are able to get analytics on the quality of our content and the assets we need to continue to develop to help build the pipeline for sales. We can control the "source of truth" with our assets.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Survey your sales and marketing organization to make sure this is integrating into their workflow. Sales and marketing do not want another tool outside of their workflow. Make sure they find this valuable. Find an evangelist within your organization to help roll it out and provide hands-on training.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that if I need something - documentation, files, templates, etc., I can easily find them. I really like the interface - clean yet familiar. I'm a fan of how "official-looking" everything is - very polished and customizable. You can basically have any kind of information in there that you need as long as you adhere to company guidelines and can easily update it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I always have trouble downloading files - I feel like the "download" button is really hard to find for files like powerpoints, word files, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a better place to store things than Google Drive - often people wouldn't share the links, the links wouldn't have relevant info, etc. This is a much more official place.

What do you like best about the product?
Super quick and easy, I can search a keyword and it will pull all associated content. I know I'm always using the latest and most updated marketing materials whereas before you might be using something 4 years old when there is something better available without even realizing. Finally, its nice to just have a consolidated place for me to know where to look for things - before, I had multiple areas to look through but none seemed to consistently yield what I was looking for.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you create a link to send to a customer of multiple documents, I've noticed they usually only View the first document. Makes me think that the interface isn't always obvious to them that they know there's more to click through.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Updated content, and a lot quicker to get content. I've also stumbled upon content I didn't necessarily know I needed, until I saw it. And before I never would have found it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely get it! Absolutely changed my customer engagement

What do you like best about the product?
I like the SmartPages the best. I think it makes it super user friendly for our reps when they are in a rush to find something. I also like the concept of bookmarking. It helps decrease the amount of content we have loaded into Highspot which helps decrease clutter. Its a one and done kind of deal and also allows accurate information to be maintained.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the SmartPages are my favorite, it is a little difficult to edit sometimes, I wish I had a little freedom. We also recently discovered that while bookmarking, if the original piece of content is archived, it can be brought back "to life" by anyone that has book marked it in the past, which shouldn't be the case. Once its archived by the original owner, it should stay that way so we aren't releasing inaccurate information to our business and customers.

We also are working towards potentially having some required fields that need to be filled in before uploading to Highspot. Ex, review date, author, feedback owner. This will allow us to constantly be aware of the status of our content and clean out will be easier, especially when we know the exact date something should be reviewed, or the correct person to contact for review - not being the uploaded as they might not be the subject matter of expertise on that specific piece of content.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to track external pitches and having all documents in one hub.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search function isn't as helpful at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Highspot is great to have all of the organization's internal and external documents. An issue we've been trying to resolve is to house all internal updates.
