What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to track analytics - even though it doesn't always give me important/needed information. It is nice to see who is engaged when sending content and to see if prospects are engaged at all. It gives one place for all content and the filters are useful to get to content quickly. It also acts as a bridge between marketing and sales and the front page of the platform is used as a new material/content/events page to keep teams up to date and on the same page.
What do you dislike about the product?
It took a long time for the searching capabilities (AI) to recognize my searches and work for me. We may have admin lapses where content isn't where it should be or is very hard to find. The users themselves have to learn a solid amount about the platform before it becomes useful - not everyone is willing to learn something that initially doesn't get them paid or they don't find value in up front. There are ins and outs to the platform and if they aren't generally acknowledged and accepted by your sales team, it doesn't work how it's intended to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have one place to find pitches and content. It helps marketing and sales stay on the same page and has some handy personalized pitch styles to make it look like you care about your prospects.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how user-friendly the interface is. Building smart pages was a huge plus and gives the end user a much more sleek and sophisticated experience. From a marketing standpoint, being able to have real-time access to the analytics tool has been very powerful and allowed true insight on internal content usage and how to be more successful. From a business development standpoint, being able to create and track custom pitches has helped empower our sales team to be more successful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I truly don't have anything I dislike about Highspot. One recommendation is that Highspot should have an image library. For example, when you add a cover image, you have to browse through your desktop folders each time to select the appropriate image. If the image already lives in Highspot, it should be easier to access it. Just a small recommendation that I'm sure is a simple fix!!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are still rolling out phase 1 of Highspot to our internal team, but the sales team seems to really like it. We have done internal contests to help push them to use Highspot any time they are reaching out to a prospective or current client. From a marketing standpoint, we are sending out internal communications using pitches to have oversight of who is viewing and downloading out content - leading by example is key. The tool is very "fun" to use, which makes it easy to implement!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you have a realistic plan and timeline to ensure your team's success. Be patient and open to learning a new system - I promise you will be glad you did!

Sales Enablement: Practicing What They Preach

What do you like best about the product?
Highspot has an intuitive user interface, the service was great from our first introductions to the company through the sales cycle, and the product is already saving time and improving internal workflows. Highspot practices what they preach, using the platform and as a Martech company, their marketing content, sales execs, on boarding processes, and account management staff are all A++.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing to really dislike. Getting used to the UI can be a learning curve at first, but everything is very standardized. Once you get used to where to find certain types of functionality, it becomes easy to navigate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a single source of truth. Highspot provided that and has streamlined delivery processes, as well as increased efficiency of our internal workflows.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Feel free to spend time with other vendors, but I highly recommend Highspot.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how the interface is simple and easy to use. It is not visually intimidating to the eye. It makes is so much easier with the main content on the left hand side and it pops up recommended content.

It is also so easy to send the info to other people and view if they are actually looking at what you sent them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really cant think of anything that pops up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is easy. Being able to send links of information to those asking for it, is so much easier then downloading and sending a huge file through email.

Plus sometimes a video is to big to be sent via email, this makes it so easy.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. The malleability of platform setup. Customer service that goes above and beyond. Easy to update content and manage version control. Integrations with Google (Gmail, Google Drive, etc), Outreach, and Salesforce drive efficiencies across marketing, sales, and operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Highspot analytics and reporting are better than any other Sales Enablement platform I researched and demoed, but there's still room for improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
From a marketing perspective, Highspot solves our past issues with internal knowledge validation and dissemination, content management, content version control, communication of content, and measuring the success of content.

From a sales perspective, Highspot solves our past issues with content discovery, content personalization, and internal and external content sharing.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to track how content is being sent by our reps and the transparency it gives us into how users are engaging. This data is super valuable.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does require some time spent organizing, maintaining, and curating content, but the tool makes this process fairly low-lift. The customer support that we have received is also excellent!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a single source of truth for external collateral is indispensable to ensure a cohesive brand experience and integrity in our messaging. Having our whole team use the same platform also provides transparency into what content is being used and how it is being received, which enables us to make better-informed decisions about future content.

What do you like best about the product?
Highspot has been extremely simple for our Sales Team to learn and adopt. Everything just runs smoothly. We receive very little negative feedback and have multiple reps who have told us this is the best sales tool they have ever used. Love the visual nature of organizing content - it makes it simple, modern, and efficient. We have also loved working with the Highspot team - they are always quick to respond and resolve questions and extremely easy and fun to work with. Highspot replaced another content organization tool that we have been using for years... and the team has been extremely happy with the change.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very little - I do wish there were a few updates to the smart pages - but they keep making them better on every update.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Highspot has become our single source for Sales Content. We use it heavily to present Sales Plays and new content to our team. Reps are using the tool to pitch and track content to prospects. We have also started using it for our monthly newsletters and are receiving rave reviews.

We also recently created a spot called "Enablement as a Service". Highspot has been the perfect tool to create an on demand Enablement section for the sales team.

Overall content delivery has become much more efficient, and reps are able to quickly deliver this to prospect. The presentation is professional and simple.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a great tool with fantastic support. I know we have just scratched the surface as we are in our first year, but I expect this to be a tool that we use for a long time to come. It has become one of the most essential tools that our Sales team uses. It is one of those tools that will make you look good because everyone loves it so much.

What do you like best about the product?
The product has always done what our sales teams needed with an extremely powerful search, and our work with their Customer Services team has helped us to not only stay on top of architecture and organization, but also proactively surfacing best practice learning collections and plays to our teams. Further, they are building a community of like-minded sales leaders & enablement professionals to help us learn from one another.
What do you dislike about the product?
Highspot has a rich feature set and they follow customer demand. Many of the updates over the past few cycles have been big benefits to administrators and content managers, but would love to see even further support to end-user and buyer facing functionality (better support for in-product text only pitch templates, etc.)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've used Highspot as a pathway to solve

+ Keeping up to date with quick market shifts, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Have a plan to build internal consensus around why sale and support teams will use Highspot. Train around those use cases and design / tag around those use cases. Understand the full set of stakeholders who would have need to admin content and empower them to do so effectively. Have a content review process to keep content fresh

What do you like best about the product?
The best part about Highspot is being able to easily send and create links for content for prospects all from one space.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is being able to see your customers click on content, but don't end up buying

There is so much content out there to be read and Highspot makes it easy to search page by page of exactly what I need right down to a single word
