Highspot is our single source of truth for sales content

What do you like best about the product?
We love how easy it is for our reps to search for content and find both what they are looking for, as well as related content. We've gone from reps using just a few of the same pieces over and over again to leveraging a much broader range of our content.

We also love that we now have analytics on our content usage by reps, and performance with clients. This allows us to make data-driven decisions about what content we should produce next, or what the sales team needs to be trained on. For example, if they aren't using a certain piece of content, we can target that as an area of education.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the settings can be a bit tricky to navigate - making changes isn't always intuitive.

I do sometimes get complaints from our more junior reps that they are confused because there are multiple ways to pitch content. I think this is a plus, and for more senior reps who are willing to invest a little time in learning the platform, it's great to have the flexibility. But it has been a small barrier to adoption.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem we had prior to Highspot was that our reps couldn't find content. They were always asking the marketing team to send them things, and it was very inefficient. Now they are empowered to find content on their own, and they are using a broader range of content than before. We also love that we're able to standardize all the content, so reps are never sending something that is out of date or not brand-approved.

And again, the value of the analytics can't be overstated. Before Highspot we were flying in the dark in terms of knowing what content our reps were sending, or even if they were reading our educational content. Now we know exactly what content is being used by the reps and what is working with clients. We can also have accountability to ensure that reps are doing their training.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy the assets in Highspot are to digest. It's relatively simple to categorize and add descriptions to content as needed, and ensure it's internal or external-facing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The back-end is not always intuitive. It can be hard to find what you're looking for and to understand how to move things around and change permissions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company utilizes Highspot as a marketing asset storage tool. We house all guides, white papers, demos, etc. in Highspot for our sales team to have easy access to.

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful part for my sales role is being able to find marketing collateral that is relevant to the prospect''s industry, downloading it and sending it over. It was also useful in my training to be able to find all the areas of the business I needed to improve my knowledge on.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search feature sometimes is tough to navigate. It's nice being able to see everything I've downloaded and engaged with but when I try finding something in the general search bar the results aren't too targeted at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When I first started in this role, the training and learning items were great to read through and review to get more comfortable with our product. On a daily basis, I'm finding material to educate prospects on our company and how we're helping similar customers.

Highspot enables me to pitch marketing collateral to prospects in an organized and efficient way

What do you like best about the product?
The organization of all of our marketing material is most valuable to me. During my work day I want to be able to do as much outreach as possible, and it allows me to quickly view and pitch a document. It also helps me in my learning & development within our organization. If I'm unfamiliar with a specific aspect of our offering, or a new release happens, I can quickly go in and view a document or presentation to get myself acquainted with it. Another thing that I like about Highspot is the ability to see what has been published or released most recently. While a lot of the material is already in the platform, this allows me to stay on top of what's new at my company.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to be able to have a google chrome plug in that allows me to attach material straight from my gmail home screen. Although it's not a big issue, from a workflow perspective it would definitely be more efficient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a Sales Development Representative you really have to peak the prospects attention when reaching out to them. Highspot allows me to attach a piece of content that caters to their specific company and role within their organization. I've already seen great success in my engagement when following up with a specific piece of collateral. It allows me to paint a clearer picture to them, rather than a value statement in text over email.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is a central hub for information that they can easily send to our customers right from highspot. We can also track how many times a piece has been sent and the grading/stars is very helpful to know what collateral is best meeting the needs of the sales team and our customers alike. After initial training Highspot is very easy to use. I like that the site can be customized with our logo and actually looks like it is a part of our brand.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a little hard to use at first, but our administrator created videos on how to best use. Other than that it is very user friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is working very well for us. The main benefit is that we have to send less emails and everything is easily organized by business unit and trend and it allows our team members to have easy access to the collateral that they need.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a great hub for sharing collateral. Highly recommend it.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that we have one platform to house all of our content in so it makes it easy for sales reps to always know exactly where to go to find collateral. The Salesforce integration is also super beneficial.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wouldn't say there is anything that I dislike. Sometimes reps have trouble finding certain pieces of collateral within the platform, but I really think that is due to lack of training on our part.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Highspot makes it easy to organize our collateral in a way that makes sense for our business. I also find it much easier to recognize/find old content to be archived than our old system allowed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This platform really is great and I will say one huge benefit is the support that comes along with it. We have regular meetings with our account manager and can reach out anytime with questions and receive a timely response.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy Highspot is to navigate and search and filter through content. My favorite feature is that you are able to just search words in the search bar and then Highspot is able pull all documents that just CONTAIN that word. This feature makes it very easy to look for documents that you dont know the name of but just know some information about the content.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting analytics could use some upgrades. There could just be more access and flexibility to some of the fields and how you view the reports. When you export a report from Higshpot, it is not helpful. The other feature that I think could use some work is the "Pitch" feature when sending content to multiple different customers, we BCC people on the pitch, but then found some issues when reviewing the pitch stats because it doesnt always show what customers "opened" or "reviewed" the email/content because it was sent through a BCC
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving our content sharing issues, our sales team never asks where content and reports are located anymore. I realized that we are leveraging more content through out the entire organization because the materials never gets lost in deep files.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that it's so easy to share documents with clients
I really enjoy the template functionality that lets you create your most commonly used documents/pitches with the click of a button
If the tracking of the links and documents works, this is another great feature to have to understand when your clients are interacting with the content that you provide them with
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the user experience could be slightly improved and isn't always super intuitive/it takes a little bit of getting used to in the beginning
In Europe tracking seems to not work for every person that accesses the links you share which is a shame
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Highspot it's easier than ever to share documents with clients without having to change any access rights or share passwords plus you get to see (in most of the cases) when people look at the content.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to find collateral that is current from marketing. In the past we did not have one centralized place. I also like how invested the implementation and account management teams were in our success during the build and launch of Highspot. I think Highspot is an amazing tool that helps with so many aspects of our business. I'm most excited about the search feature for content and having the ability create a custom microsite for all my meetings, this feature alone is going to improve the quality/speed of our work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the Outreach integration was a little more advanced. I'd like the ability to create pitches based on industry or persona that can be added to outreach templates or sequences with tracking based on the senders email. I'm not sure if it's possible, but It would be great if we could send those templates and when opened it creates a new pitch in the senders Highspot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We previously had a big issue with content distribution. We are solving this by having marketing update the content in one place that is easily accessible. We are making it easier for our reps to follow up with clients after meetings. Trainings, resources and product information all in one place. I've realized that Highspot can be used for some much more than content, and look forward to building out internal smartpages for the tech products I manage (Vidyard/Outreach).
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's worth the time and investment. If you have a sales team that needs a lot of collateral, this is a must have tool.

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful part of Highspot is the support they offer to their customers. The assistance our account manager and service executive has made the whole process of setting up our environment very easy. Overall, I think Highspot is an incredibly intuitive system that is consistently being updated with new features to better serve its customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that there was a more condensed version of analytics for the non-admin users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving issues related to sales training. By creating our sales enablement platform we have given any salesperson the ability to know what to know, say, and show on a call.
