Great tool for content management, but room for improvement on integrations and LMS.
What do you like best about the product?
-One-stop-shop: Highspot allows us to pull in content from gdrive, confluence, dropbox, etc into one searchable platform for reps to find content.
-Curation: The smartpages allow us to curate and highlight specific assets. Everything in Highspot has been curated to some degree as a "source of truth".
-Visibility: Not only can the reps see what their customers are viewing (if they pitch content), but from an enablement perspective we can see what search terms people are using, what content they're viewing, and how long they're viewing content. This allows us to identify gaps and check that we highlight is indeed being viewed.

What do you dislike about the product?
-LMS (coaching & Training): We had high hopes for this, but in the end it wasn't robust enough for us.
-Integrations: We wish there were better integrations with LMS (Workramp) and Dropbox Paper.
-Display inline content: Would also love to be able to display all content (links, decks, docs, etc) "inline" on smartpages.
-Search/Navigability: although the search is used a majority of the time, it could be a bit better. Often the terms have to be very specific. Would also like better navigation bars (dropdowns) within the smartpages and better infrastructure to navigate.
-Content Filtering: And although it's a repository for content, besides the lists, there aren't easier ways to display or sort through content, such as within a smart page with dynamic filters.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior to HS, our content was siloed and self generated. Every team had their own docs and ways of doing things. Now that we have an enablement team and highspot, we can centralize and standardize content. Highspot combines a traditional CMS with a Wiki so that we can have landing pages and content together.
Highspot's Spot-on
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to track engagement with content — whether that's internal-only content or external content sent out by reps.
What do you dislike about the product?
The editor itself can be a little inconvenient to use at times. As a user, I'd like a more seamless experience. For example, sometimes formatting a page in the editor gets difficult to align with other objects on the page. Or the drag-and-drop elements don't always land where you dropped them. Small inconveniences that build to hard-to-ignore annoyances. It doesn't take away the value the tool brings, but impacts my satisfaction of it as a user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems tracking engagement with the materials the marketing team and sales enablement team build for use internally or externally. Now we can use usage data to help inform what content or projects we prioritize based both on usage by reps and activity with prospects. It also helps us standardize what our go-to-market teams use by serving as a knowledge base that helps us release updates/new information, training, supporting materials, etc.
Standard execution of sales is critical. There are too many variables. Any tool we can use to drive standardization within reason is beyond appreciated.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Have a clear strategy for use and implementation. It only works for you if you put in the work.
Great for Tracking and Finding Relevant Materials Quickly
What do you like best about the product?
It is much easier to find relevant information compared to searching on a share drive and it makes tracking any materials you send to various prospects so easy! I particularly like how you can organize your own spot and bookmark favorite pieces of content. I also think that the search function showing you exactly where that keyword appears in the content is incredibly helpful!
What do you dislike about the product?
The one downside is probably not being able to track past versions, or to look back at past iterations of that same piece of content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems we are solving are making sure everyone has access to the latest updates and materials as well as being able to find files easily. The benefits that I've realized are higher efficiency!
Great CMS for growing organizations!
What do you like best about the product?
Content is easy to find with a great search engine! Search engine looks through content in embedded Google docs as well!
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish they had a few more integrations i.e. Paper

Highspot has become our single source of truth for all things Sales and GTM content. It's easy for GTM teams to find what they need and we've been able to build out many programs, like Onboarding, to keep everything in one central location.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's been a great value add to our GTM organization!
Highspot for the Win!
What do you like best about the product?
Highspot is the strongest content management/marketing tool i've seen.
We've seen huge uptick in usage as we've ramped up our Sales Team. Reps are very excited about how easy it is to navigate through the tool and particularly fond of the interaction tracking feature as it better enables them plan upcoming meetings based on how recipients are interacting with their outreach material
As a Product Owner, I've found analytics functionality extremely useful. It allows me to understand how reps are utilising highspot and better enables us to identify which content is making the biggest impact with current/potential customers

What do you dislike about the product?
My only gripe is with pitch links. A majority of Sales Reps prefer to use pitch links instead of pitch emails. Unfortunately the data collected on pitch links is a less granular than we'd like.

Powerful content management and sales enablement platform
What do you like best about the product?
The detailed pitch analytics I have access to when sending out content, as well as the intuitive and sleek UI.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting functionality it really lacking - it's hard to get access to all the data that Highspot captures, to analyze and derive insights from it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better ability to surface relevant content to our sales and professional services organizations. The ability to go beyond content management to true sales enablement with tools like sales plays.

What do you dislike about the product?
It does take an internal resource a good amount of administration time

One place for all approved marketing material
Sellers now go to Highspot as one-stop-shopping and have been "trained" to do so

We have been so impressed with the platform as well as our customer experience.
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use as well as the team that supports us. Questions are always answered in a timely manner and if the team doesn't know the answer they work to find one.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are just some small things within the platform that I wish were different, but overall the experience is great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We didn't have a place for our sales team to access all marketing content and track how our customers were engaging. Our sellers absolutely love it and how it is set up. They are more engaged and are constantly asking for new content.
Highspot better aligns sales and marketing teams
What do you like best about the product?
Highspot is our one-stop-shop for all of our internal and external sales and marketing content. Our sellers can easily locate what they need to be successful, and the analytics on the communications with prospects give them insight into what their next actions should be. As a marketing team, we get better visibility on what is useful to sales or when we need to respond with updates. The Salesforce integration is great and worth mentioning. Also, our account team is a pleasure to work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mostly, Highspot is great. But we've had some smaller complaints with the tool from day one. From an Enterprise standpoint, the access setup and group automation--mostly the inability to auto decommission users--has resulted in our needing more admin of the tool than we anticipated. The developers have grown the in-system analytic capabilities a ton in the past two years, and for most organizations, they now suffice for what people will need. For any orgs more sophisticated in their use of analytics, although Highspot can provide the datalake and is working on the connection offerings, the schema and data structure aren't conducive to customization. If you're hoping to pull raw data into a BI tool to build and customize the reporting you need, it's important to note that you'll need to do a lot of re-structuring of the dataset to have it make sense.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy access to marketing and sales enablement content that's always up-to-date. Better visibility for sellers on their communication, and better visibility into use of marketing-created collateral.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There's not a better alternative to using Highspot. It's a great tool and it's helped our company streamline a lot of what we didn't have in-place previously.

What do you dislike about the product?
Limited tracking capabilities and smartpage set up options
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
