Great Tool! Easy to use

  • January 29, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to upload files and share them with your teammates. I love the pitch functionality as well and have used it with multiple customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's not easy to find content there. We have many categories created within Highspot and sometimes it's challenging to understand which documents are relevant or not. I'm not sure if our leadership team has been archiving not relevant content. I also wish we could use our general team email to pitch the decks from Highspot since customers always reach out using this general email. However, when I'm logged to Highspot, all of my emails are sent under my personal email. It would be great to have the possibility of changing the sender's email.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Learning about new products, sharing documents with teammates. Accessing meeting material. Every time that I'm not able to be in a meeting, I can always access the slide deck on Highspot. Learning about new products can be easy as well since the material is publicly available.

What do you dislike about the product?
Having to leave my browser to verify if the campaign has been opened.

Marketing problems - brand awareness is critical. It's also valuable to know what the prospects find interesting.

Highspot is an excellent place to maintain resources

  • January 29, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to maintain and easy for others to maneuver and locate what they need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the updates, which I think are believed to be user friendly, are not. And some of the processes to set-up the site are labor intensive and not easy to do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Biggest problem was colleagues sending out out-dated and old branding material; this keeps everyone sending the latest and greatest and matches our brand guidelines.

Highspot is the premiere choice for sending and tracking sales materials

  • January 29, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Being on the marketing team, I like the ability to see what content is being pitched out and how well each piece is performing. Not only does it give me insights that I can pass on to our sales teams in order to help them sell more, but it also allows us to make sure that the content we put out is worthwhile. We can see what's performing well and what isn't so we can assess what content should be produced going forward.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it takes a fair amount of training to get up to speed on how to do things in Highspot from an admin perspective, but once you get it, it's really smooth.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to see what our sales teams are pitching out instead of just taking their word. Being able to put ROI to marketing materials we create.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Highspot is the one tool that our organization turns to when we need information on various business functions, strategies, market insights, and any resources that help us be successful in our roles. The seamless organization of the tool and easy to use UI makes Highspot a must-have for our every day workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside of Highspot is the search features as it is sometimes difficult to find the right resources under various categories.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are currently solving the problem of one tool for our resources and information for our department. We consistently use Highspot for various resources and tools, training and onboarding, and product updates. It has been a huge part of our strategy to utilize Highspot as the one are for truth.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This will be a great addition to your internal resources!

Highspot is a great platform for finding sales materials

  • January 29, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the search box where you may type in any phrase to find case studies, internal pitches, sales docs at my fingertips. I also like the sales enablement to find the most popular or most recent adds for forms/pricing/slides.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not 1 item comes to mind that I dislike, but Highspot is so robust that it can get overwhelming / sidetracked with all of the information (which is great!).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Highspot has helped me find the most up to date collateral with our rebrand logo/colors.

Highspot is a great tool to manage your resources and assets

  • January 29, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Highspot allows you to create very engaging and well organized spots for each individual department. Especially the pitch functionality is awesome as it allows you to build customized pitches and also track whether your prospect opens it or not.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the UI is not the most intuitive and it takes some time to get used to. In addition to that, I think it is really important to highlight that you will need a dedicated person to keep Highspot up to date. Not really a fault of the software but thought that it is important to mention. Highspot will make things easier but you will still need somebody to take ownership
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Highspot helps a lot with ensuring one source of truth and removing a million different versions of a document that float around in Google Drive. It also allows you to pitch in an efficient and trackable manner

One Stop Shop. Revenue Enabler, Strategic Content Power & Sales Training

  • January 29, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Highspot is always listening to us the customer. They are constantly building out the best platform to serve us. They are very transparent with releases and helping us be ready to take advantage and set up health checks to make sure we are getting the most out of our deployment. A+ for customer service, A+ look and design, A+ for the analytics to prove that our instance is successful and how we can continue to grow content, sales training and closing deals.
What do you dislike about the product?
Highspot is so good at integrating to everywhere sales is, but sometimes selfishly we just want sales to log into Highspot and enjoy the wonderful environment we've curated for them. The other thing is while it is a one stop shop, in my deployments I've seen it best to choose phases of work. Approach Highspot with your immediate needs and expand. Too often I see companies that try to do too much at once. Slow and steady does win the race and will be the most effective for your organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving content management, sales training, and analytics. We're helping Sales share the right content with preset beautiful pitches. We're keeping everyone on brand but helping them stay creative and flexible with the content we can provide them. With the connections to SFDC we're even able to see the content as it influences deals and ultimately the revenue streams of the company.

One stop resource for sales demos and pitches

  • January 29, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
UX, and structure of information displayed. Flows well when you are live on a pitch or demo call and need easily referenced data points or talk tracks that are specific to the persona or audience you're meeting with. Great way to train new hires on flow of pitch and discovery as well, without requiring them to remember scripts.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search function returned some weird results for me a couple times, but other than that it has worked without malfunction. Also the nuanced differences between sending material to clients directly from HighSpot vs using the plug-in in gmail have been slightly annoying, but not a big deal at all. The tool is simple and empowers your content and resources with better delivery and structure. It's obviously not a perfect product, but it works extremely well for where it's currently at in it's lifecycle.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Only problem was a search that returned irrelevant results. Could've been operator error though so I want to caveat by saying that. The benefits I've realized up to this point are having simple, targeted pitch workflows with the appropriate discovery questions and relevant materials to reference on the call right at your fingertips, that you can easily use as an outline for your sales conversation. Gives you that framework to work off of, rather than winging it, using printed out talk tracks, or having to memorize a ridiculous amount of content prior to calling. Also helps with training new hires, keeping them on track if the conversation strays or veers at all.
