Great Partnership

What do you like best about the product?
One thing that is incredibly important to me is how invested their team is in our success and their ability to execute on their promise.

I must say that the team at Highspot have been incredibly supportive. I appreciate that they genuinely care about our success. Since the very beginning they went above and beyond making sure we have regular meetings to understand our business objectives and specific needs.

They are excellent problem solvers and idea creators. They have been able to recommend to us how to best optimize the platform, and they continue to constantly offer help on training our enablement and product marketing members on how to make our reps' visits on the platform an even more delightful experience. I love that our HS CSMs provide different perspectives, and are not afraid to challenge our thinking.

Although, we still have a long way to go in our journey to excellence, if I look at where we started and where we are today, it makes a huge difference. What is more important, the feedback from the sellers has been increasingly more positive. All due to the fact that the ease of use and accessibility has huge impact on increasing our reps selling time. The analytics and reporting function is great in dissecting data however you like. Also, it provides great visibility for the sellers into customer/prospect engagement.
What do you dislike about the product?
No real downsides. Wish our internal team had more bandwidth to be able to do more great things with HS.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Increase efficiencies and effectiveness of our teams with a one central source of truth of the most up to date internal and external facing content.

Easy content management system with great insights

What do you like best about the product?
Highspot is an intuitive content management system that makes it easy for our team to add, maintain, and highlight content for sales. We particularly love the pitch function, which also makes it easy to share out content with customers and prospects AND track their engagement. Highspot's search function is also extremely useful when trying to find something by simply using a keyword. Highspot makes it easy for us to make our collateral available to sales, customers, prospects, and understand what content performs best.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the analytics are great and provide valuable insight, the reporting function can be confusing at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Highspot to easily organize and make our sales and marketing collateral available to our revenue team. With Highspot, we are able to make everything available in an organized manner, track usage and gain insights into what type of content performs best, and make it easy for our team to share content with customers and partners.

What do you like best about the product?
We use Highspot to keep our marketing assets organized and up to date and to easily pitch them to potential clients.

The platform is easy to use. Adding, tagging and updating content is simple -- both from Microsoft Office tools and Google Docs. Their search function makes it simple to find what you need. I've never "lost" anything on Highspot!

Pitched content looks professional and provides a good experience for our potential clients. I also appreciate their pitch tracking data, so I know who's engaging with our content.

The portal looks good enough that sometimes our Sales team pulls up assets there on calls.

We've also used some of their tools to create mini client-specific "web sites" with relevant content on them. It's a nice way to create a custom experience within Highspot.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the features around pitch templates and styles are less intuitive and, therefore, we use them less.

Even though they have a PPT online integration, I've stopped using it to edit our docs. Too many bugs. Luckily Highspot makes it easy to update content via upload or connection to our Google Drive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Highspot to house, organize and access our growing library of marketing assets.

We also use Highspot to share assets with prospects and track their engagement with those assets as part of our sales process.

What do you like best about the product?
Highspot is an excellent visual tool, with a great search engine and very easy-to-use page builder with pre-packaged "widgets" that get you set up and running in minutes! Sellers love seeing what emails and content customers and prospects are engaging with through Highspot's robust analytics.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish my entire company had licenses to Highspot as it would make content so much easier to find for people outside of Sales and Marketing. Other than wanting to have the "relating" pitches process automatically syncs at the Account and Opportunity levels in Salesforce without having reps manually add that info, there really isn't anything else. The Highspot team is also always very open to feedback and ideas/next steps/directions for the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great way to manage content and serve it up to Sales, Marketing and any Customer-facing teams and to be able to track both internal and external-customer engagement with content. We were able to directly relate influenced opportunities and and influenced revenue within the first few months of usage.

Highspot was an easy decision

What do you like best about the product?
Highspot is a very well designed, high quality product. From an admin perspective, it is easy to organize and classify sales enablement information so that sales can find, understand and use content to help them sell.

One of the most powerful features is being able to pitch content in different ways and track the external interaction with it. Our sellers love being able to create microsite-like landing pages to share content with prospects in a way that is simple to present and maintain. Being able to track the interaction with content both internally and externally, gives my product marketing team visibility into if and how effective content we develop is.

The service and support we get from Highspot is exceptional. We have weekly team meetings to improve our implementation, increase adoption, plan for user training sessions. This partnership and expertise is of huge value in itself.
What do you dislike about the product?
There really isn't much to dislike about Highspot. It would be better if training was a more developed and integrated offering, but I know this is still very new.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Disorganized content. Our previous sales enablement tool could organize content in folders. Highspot organizes content in a similar way called Spots. But the difference is that Highspot is flexible enough to link content between both shared and personal Spots. Highspot understands the reality that concepts are inter-related and can't always be forced into one folder. Moreover, the search functionality is powerful enough to search within content, not just the title or metadata.

2. Share content externally. Our previous sales enablement tool was only designed for internal consumption. We needed a way for our sellers to actually use the content for their jobs - to show or send content to prospects, rather than download the content onto their computers first. Highspot has helped our sellers find the certified, up-to-date version of content and send it to prospects in a controlled way e.g. can not download the content.

3. Track and measure interaction. We wanted to understand if content was actually being looked at by prospects or customers. Highspot has insightful analytics that let sellers know how external people interact with their pitches. It also helps admins know who our internal users are using content, so we can ensure the content is useful and fresh.

Great technology that's easy to use and is adding features quickly

What do you like best about the product?
Highspot is a great platform to manage and house your content. It's an intuitive platform that allows our reps to easily search and find what they're looking for. The ability to limit access to certain pieces of content to particular groups makes it very helpful as we continue to scale as a company. Highspot is one of the best technologies I've worked with that quickly build and roll out new features that are on their 'roadmap'.
What do you dislike about the product?
When pitching a PowerPoint out of the Highspot platform, it would be nice if they had a note section available like when doing a deck directly out of PowerPoint.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By using Highspot, we've been able to stay organized with our content and ensure that our reps are utilizing the most up to date documents. No more sending out old product decks that have since been updated by our Marketing team! Also, since the search feature is great, we no longer have to field as many questions from reps who are looking for our standard content/documents.

What do you like best about the product?
Highspot saw one of best platform adoptions we've had at our company which speaks to its ease of use and strong utility. We have several teams at our company that create and manage sales collateral, previously managed through a number of nested company folders. Highspot's no folder approach just makes sense, utilizing a strong search functionality based on tags and embed text and media types to find content that you need. I love that it connects to existing folder structures, that we don't need to upload to yet another system to manage content and how it updates itself automatically. It's integration was fairly seamless with how our company was already operating. Its Salesforce link for BI tracking is particularly useful and an area of focus for our 2021 development.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing we dislike about the Highspot platform, nor is there anything that can be considered a downside or unhelpful to us. There have been few feature recommendations that we funnel to our account team but on the whole, it's been a great value add to our company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our primary problem was organizing all the content that was created by multiple teams as simply finding content was a challenge, know who to go to, which folder, which sub-folder, etc. Highspot helps to manage that through its search functionality having all content from multiple sources housed in one platform.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Lean on your account team - they are the best at understanding your challenges and sculpting a custom solution or feature to help.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Highspot is the ease of use from an administrator perspective. For the most part I'm able to build and set up our content fairly quickly. Our Highspot account team has been instrumental in helping us learn new solutions and providing best practices. They are a stellar team!

No real dislike to note, however I would like to see more product updates with more frequency .

What do you like best about the product?
The Highspot platform has brought a new level of transparency, organization, content integrity, and accountability to our company. As a member of the training & development team, the platform's ability to organize our resources in a systematic, intuitive interface that can be completely tailored to our unique needs is fantastic. Additionally, the level of support provided by the Highspot Account Management & Services teams is unparalleled. The have been a fantastic partner to work with, and we are constantly learning from them.
What do you dislike about the product?
While being able to bookmark and share content across various spots is valuable, it can easily lead to confusion or inconsistencies in reporting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Implementing Highspot has given us a single source of truth for all of our internal and external content at Terminus. We are able to ensure that the resources our teams are utilizing are approved and up-to-date, and we can leverage usage data and employee feedback to help us maintain the integrity our content database. With Highspot, our go-to-market teams are able to share content with our prospect and customer audiences in a more professional, efficient, and highly trackable way. We've also been able to bring more structure to our employee onboarding and training programs using Highspot's flexible interface and architecture.
