A Good Way to Manage Evolving Content

What do you like best about the product?
We use Highspot primarily to keep our 500+ sales collateral pieces up to date and track usage. Version control use to be impossible. The search functionality is strong and the variety of pitches is helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Despite my best efforts, I have a hard time getting the sales team to actually use it. Often times, they get frustrated early on and just stop using it altogether. I don't like the notification settings when a pitch is opened. I also dislike pitching from Highspot. We recommend people not to that, we always pitch from Gmail, which works really well.

I also thought a template referencing a doc that gets updated would use the most up to date version of the file, but that doesn't happen automatically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We update sales materials every 90-120 days, so it was a pain to get everyone to use the most up to date version. Now, we update 1 doc and everyone has access.

We needed a central repository of knowledge. We use Highspot for a lot of that, but there are things that we have used other tools for still. It doesn't solve our need for Sales Training, territory maps, etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Its a solid tool that solves a real pain for growing businesses.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how quick it is to search for materials within my organization. No longer need to search on multiple different sites or through my files to find what I need!
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything that I dislike at this point, I am still learning my way around the site but so far I only see it adding value to my day to day workflow as well as engagement with my customers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I foresee highspot giving me more insight into what my clients are interested in and most engaged with. I've been able to quickly find documents I need, as well as understand internal processes that I previously would have to ask multiple people for help with.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how all of my company's documents can be organized and easily found. This creates efficiency and consistency across the team. I also really like how fast and easy it is to drop the collateral I need into a template. The resulting analytics provide fantastic insight that really help with client follow up.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that organizing my documents or work will take a bit of a learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem that I am able to solve with Highspot is client follow up and information sharing. I can easily create a resource page for my clients, load it up with great info, and the client doesn't have to worry about how they are going to share everything with their people. It's already done for them! And it looks really great too!
I have already realized the great benefits of elevated client communications, greater efficiency, new technology, and client analytics!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need a tool that can connect your people internally with each other, and externally with your clients then Highspot is going to be a game changer!

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to have everything in one place that is easily accessible. Being part of implementations I got emails everyday asking where to find documents. This has made it so much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the external pages could be more interactive from the customers view
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
While we are still working out the kinks and how to use the program, so far so good. It has already received positive feedback from customers and I think will be a staple in our sales/onboarding process moving forward.

Content Organization Made Easy

What do you like best about the product?
Highspot makes it easy to categorize and organize information for sales teams. As a part of the marketing team, having a one-stop-shop of updated and ready to use material for our sales team to go out and sell with is important. We refresh our materials on an ongoing basis and being able to just update versions of existing materials is a wonderful thing. Analytics from pitches and emails sent is also helpful to our marketing team and I know our sales teams enjoy being able to remix materials and keep them in their own spots.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of a learning curve when it comes to managing Highspot, however, the Highspot reps I've worked with have been beyond helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to create toolkits or smartpages for different sales plays has cut down on confusion about which materials should be used when. Our sales team knows all information in Highspot is always up to date and can take it and run when talked with potential customers. No more wasting time making sure something is the most recent version.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to combine different types of content and have a gorgeous final product!
What do you dislike about the product?
Lots of work up front to implement, very thorough process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralized place for assets, less time spent searching, ability to put Sheets/PDFs/Excel all in a single deck.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Implement early to get organized, don't wait until assets are out of control.

Top Notch Sales Enablement

What do you like best about the product?
The content management tagging and search functionality (filtering) is intuitive and easy to implement. I also appreciate the content usage and user analytics the software provides. And the account services team is extremely helpful in integrating and training throughout our company--fantastic group of folks to work with!
What do you dislike about the product?
Not really a "dislike", but an obstacle we face -- Adoption for "veteran" sales people has been a little slow going when it comes to integrating Highspot into their existing workflow. Takes some effort to explain "pitching" or communicating out of the tool (vs reaching out directly to their leads). Because of this, we're only able to scratch the surface of what Highspot has to offer.

Content management repository -- providing consistent, most up-to-date resources at our fingertips (without wasting effort searching around or calling upon individual repositories)

What do you like best about the product?
Highspot has been a fantastic tool for our organization. At times, we've barely scratched the surface of the capability of the platform. The product continues to evolve to meet our needs as we scale for growth. The best features lie behind the scenes with all of the tracking/reporting capabilities. What marketing piece gets the most "action?", Which page of the proposal gets the most attention?, Did the end user click on it? share it? download it? It's all there in depth at both the individual and the organizational level.
What do you dislike about the product?
Every once in a while the platform gets wonky and there can be delays in getting content out. In fairness, some of the delay may lie in the complexity of a Highspot addon that we employ to generate pricing in our proposals. That being said, the customer support was very helpful in addressing our situation
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ease of sending out great looking, current content that is able to be tracked for it's effectiveness. That's Highspot in a nutshell. Great for both internal and external communications
