My experience with Highspot.
What do you like best about the product?
Highspot is excellent for our sales team because it enables them to distribute content to customers quickly and easily, even from their mobile devices. Previously, when we used GoogleDrive, locating specific files could take an eternity; therefore, the ability to search for them is a significant improvement. Our sales team heavily relies on pitch analytics to close more deals with the ideal customers. Its compatibility with Salesforce is a further considerable benefit.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because we created a product demo before purchasing it, I do not think our company had a standard onboarding experience with much training. If I had more information, I would have performed specific actions differently. Although I find the platform intuitive and easy to use, I can see how issues could arise if improper planning and organization were implemented.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a result of having immediate access to data, our sales team can significantly reduce the time spent providing customers with information. With the assistance of Highspot, we can distribute, promote, track, and manage our content more efficiently. You can easily track engagement and share counts when pitching content to clients. Highspot contributes to the professional development of our sales staff.
Great place to share content for enabling workforce
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use UI with an option to save any material to you own private folder that can sync with any changes made by the original owner in the said material. Can store multi format files including links to external websites/spaces.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search functionality can be better for sure. Difficult to search for a specific material if you only know part of the name. Entering a keyword can pull in too many irrelevant material that may have the said word anywhere within it, making it difficult to scan and select the material you want.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Highspot has all the sales enablement material that allows me to search and download relevant decks for my clients and use cases. Content is smartly segregated into folders and makes it easy for users to nagivate to the right material.

A game changer for our onboarding programs
What do you like best about the product?
I am such a massive fan of Highspot's Training and Coaching product. As a remote-first company, it has been a game-changer in re-envisioning what our onboarding programs currently look like to deliver scaleable e-learning training. Building any e-learning course is a massive undertaking, but Highspot has made it easy with their drag-and-drop design features. We opted to create a lesson library so that once a lesson is approved, anyone can pull that lesson into their very own customizable course.
What do you dislike about the product?
For admins, it can be challenging at times to ensure individuals have access to the right content as there are a lot of different places to check those settings. It's highly customizable but takes a very well-crafted plan so you don't continuously feel bogged down by manual administration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Highspot is rolling out better notification features for individuals enrolled in courses which will cut down on the manual follow-up I have been doing every week to nudge individuals to complete training.

What do you like best about the product?
Usability and simplicity of usage are Highspot's primary strengths. Because our Sellers utilize the same system regularly, it's a great spot to make sales pitches because they get a head start on learning the system's ins and outs. I've struggled with training and administrative document management as a Salesforce administrator. Before utilizing Highspot, I had not found a solution as successful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Before it reaches its full potential, search engine technology has much to learn. If you enter a term and then click on a document, you will not immediately be taken to the time you entered; you will have to conduct more searches inside the page to locate it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We required a single database to store and organize all of our data. Another option is to restrict access to the material. It is now possible to monitor who has viewed your content pitches.
Great resource for sharing content, externally & internally
What do you like best about the product?
I've used several products similar to Highspot, but never one so user friendly. It's a terrific tool for storing, sharing and browsing for content.
What do you dislike about the product?
In my time using it, nothing comes to mind.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to brose for critical content, and the ability to monitor external engagement once content is shared.

What do you like best about the product?
Simple way to get need-to-know information in front of sales (from marketing side, this is always a challenge). Increased productivity, especially when used in tandem with Highspot for Gmail and SFDC integration. I guess this is coming from someone biased, since I know the ins-and-outs from working at a competitor and focusing heavily on how to help customers get the most out of that tool.
When you get your team using the Gmail connector and the SFDC integration, it's MAGIC. Focus on that and you'll get the "aha" moment a lot faster with sales, which is great since that helps them leverage our marketing materials.

What do you dislike about the product?
It's not super intuitive and the navigation is confusing. I used to work at a competitor (which faced similar challenges). I don't know what I would recommend to solve this, but it's just not intuitive and making it easier would really benefit sales usage of the tool, and marketing's ability to get the information to the team seamlessly.
The Highspot for Gmail connector is annoying in that you have to enter the details twice for the SFDC integration and then AGAIN in Gmail.
The same is true with pitching directly from Highspot. Find a way to auto-populate it and taking that one step out of the equation would erase a lot of frustration, and increase usage of the tool from the sales side.

What do you like best about the product?
Notifications when my email is opened.
The ability to attach different pitches. Like Flyers, presentations and things like that.

What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that if I open my own pitch I get an email that my pitch was opened. I think it should know that I was the one that open it and not send me a notification for that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Knowing when my email was opened and reminding me if I hadn't replied to an email that was sent to me.
I love using highspot for a training platform.

The reviews, you can look back at the content as you do them.

It's a little hard to navigate between mandatory training and extra information.

All of the content I need to learn to do my job is in one place and is searchable. It helped me learn things a lot quicker.

The search bar has been the most helpful!

I wish there was a filter feature before typing in the search bar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to add content to emails and that allows me to know what content people are reading/not reading.
