What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how Last9 focuses on addressing genuine reliability issues rather than simply introducing more dashboards and unnecessary noise. The platform comes across as carefully designed and geared toward clarity, which enables teams to work more intelligently and with greater confidence.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t have any major complaints, but one aspect that could use improvement is the internal documentation and the number of manual steps involved in workflows. If there were more structure and clearer guidance in these areas, I believe productivity could be enhanced even more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Last9 is solving the problem of unreliable, difficult-to-understand systems in modern distributed architectures. As applications grow more complex, it becomes harder to maintain uptime, identify the root cause of failures, and ensure that services meet reliability goals. Last9 addresses this by providing structured SLO (Service Level Objective) management, real-time observability, and automated insights into system performance.

For me, this has been extremely beneficial because it helps me:

Detect issues early before they become customer-impacting incidents.

Reduce time spent on debugging, since Last9 surfaces the exact services or dependencies causing reliability risks.

Track reliability in a measurable way through SLOs instead of relying on subjective judgments.

Focus my efforts on what truly matters, thanks to clear error budgets and actionable alerts.

Deliver more stable releases, ensuring better user experience and fewer production escalations.

Overall, Last9 helps turn reliability from a reactive activity into a proactive, data-driven process — which boosts my efficiency and confidence in managing high-scale systems.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Last9 is its focus on actionable reliability metrics. Unlike many monitoring tools that overwhelm you with noise, Last9 surfaces only what truly matters. The platform’s SLO/SLI tracking, fast query performance, and ability to correlate failures across services make debugging much faster.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some dashboards take a moment to load when there is a large dataset, and a few features could use better documentation. However, these are minor issues compared to the overall value.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Last9 helps us make smarter, data-driven decisions about our system’s reliability. It clearly shows which services need attention, helps us use our resources more efficiently, and ensures our applications run smoothly for customers. Effortless Integration and Debugging with Last9

What do you like best about the product?
Last9 is very easy to integrate and debug, The website UI is very feasible to understand and debug the issues. I have used the spans and traces features in last9 which very useful to me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I usually faced latency issues while checking the logs for a services with high volume of logs. And they need to provide a source of truth to understand the if all the logs are getting propagated or they cutting it out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
last 9 provided a APM dashboard which is very useful to get an overall idea on the entire services , Last9 also provided the alerting system which we integrated with the slack to notice any issues.

Reliable and Cost-Effective Tool for Log Tracking with Excellent Support

What do you like best about the product?
We’ve been using Last9 primarily for log tracking, and it has been quite smooth so far. The platform makes it easy to view, filter, and correlate logs, which really helps when debugging issues.

One of the biggest advantages we’ve seen is the cost efficiency, it’s comparatively less expensive than other observability tools we’ve used or evaluated.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of a learning curve in the beginning, setting up dashboards and getting familiar with the data flow takes some time, but once you get accustomed to it, the experience becomes much smoother.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Last9, tracing specific issues or patterns across multiple logs was time consuming and fragmented. With Last9, it's much easier to search, filter, and correlate logs, which has significantly improved our debugging and incident resolution time.
Additionally, the cost efficiency and ease of integration have made it a great fit for our workflow.

Overall, Last9 helps us maintain better reliability, save engineering hours, and reduce operational expenses, all while having a responsive and supportive team behind the product.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to integrate... Just use otel and the dashboards are great, can use for multiple things
What do you dislike about the product?
The "log" feature does not work, plus sample codes they give are useless
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For my services, I can see latency, availability, number of times called, etc
Can also see kuber deployment stats and other things

What do you like best about the product?
last9's sales/support team was incredibly helpful in setting us up / getting us started using the platform. It has been intuitive and most importantly powerful to use. Has done a great job helping us cut through the massive amounts of telemetry data our system produces, and the insights we've gained from it have already highlighted bugs in our system and helped us identify and resolve outages before they got out of hand.

Last9's high cardinality data features made it stand out from other products we considered.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far all the features I've personally needed have been there.

Data is stored on and transits through last9 servers, which means for our data privacy requirements we have to sensor user data before we send it to last9. It would be great if we could self host some parts of the software such as specific trace data
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Identifying bugs and finding and solving their root causes. Alerting on outages and helping bring down MTTR

I really like how the platform emphasizes reliability as a product, helping teams move from reactive firefighting to proactive monitoring. The dashboards are intuitive, setup is smooth, and the alerts are precise without being overwhelming.

The learning curve for new users can be a bit steep, especially if they’re not already familiar with SRE concepts like SLOs and error budgets. Some advanced features could use more detailed documentation or onboarding support.

Last9 helps solve the challenge of maintaining system reliability at scale by providing clear visibility into service health, dependencies, and performance through SLOs and error budgets. Instead of getting lost in endless metrics, it allows me to focus on what truly impacts user experience. This has reduced downtime, improved incident response times, and freed up engineering bandwidth to focus on building features rather than constantly firefighting.

What do you like best about the product?
What I value most about Last9 is that it truly feels worth the price we are paying. Their pay-for-what-you-use model is transparent and they even worked with us to personalize the experience and bring costs down to a level that suited our needs. The team went above and beyond by staying in touch with us every day during setup and optimization. That level of support is rare, and it really helped us adopt the platform smoothly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s honestly not much to dislike, but if I had to pick one thing, it would be that because Last9 is evolving so quickly, sometimes it takes a little time to catch up with all the new features. That said, their team is very responsive and helps us navigate any changes.
