Powerful and Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
Everyone at Yext is very easy to work with and reliable. The support team is responsive and knowledgable. My favorite thing about Yext is it makes it easy to manage 200+ profiles.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've had issues accessing some pages, where I would be redirected to a 404 page. Luckily, the support team is quick to respond and able to complete my request right away.
Some features aren't clear and I had to watch a 40+ min webinar just to figure it out.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have over 180 mortgage loan officers and we have people move locations all the time. As an SEO specialist, it is my responsibility to make sure their online listings are up to date. Yext makes it extremely easy for someone like me to update their online directories.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're trying to improve/maintain your online presence or your local SEO, then Yext is perfect for you.
A Partner, Not Just a Vendor
What do you like best about the product?
Our partnership with Yext has been wonderful for our marketing and digital efforts. We always feel like Yext is on our team, not just selling us a tool. We're listened to, consulted with, and made to feel important in all our plans with Yext. They're helping us shape several digital initiatives that are growing the company.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, they're great. Hope we get more great Yext events soon!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lead generation. Local search. Citation consistency. Streamlining our marketing data. Solving internal process and operations issues.

Citation services. Although, their relationships with industry aggregator's has greatly declined from what it was five years ago.

The lack of customer services and shady renewal operations.

Yext use to be a wonderful company. I've have suggested Yext services to hundreds of clients over the past 10 years. Last year I became a Certified Partner with Yext.
I noticed a few years ago that the levels of service were declining.
Look at all the bad reviews growing quickly across the internet and you can see there is a major problem with Yext.

Solving for compliance monitoring on a more systematic scale for our advisors. We have recognized the benefit of have a broad social media presence created through advisor engagement

Hearsay is an amazing partner!
What do you like best about the product?
Hearsay has made growing our social program simple, providing amazing tools to get our sales folks engaged. Through usage of their dynamic campaigns, pre populated content and ROI tools, our social program has grown significantly througout the year!

There are no downsides of using Hearsay, it is the best tool I have seen in the industry!

Hearsay = No Brainer
What do you like best about the product?
Hearsay has helped us take the nearly impossible task of mobilizing the field to compliantly use social media, and make it a simple one. Marketing content is easily disseminated to the field and both they and compliance have peace of mind that the content they're sharing is compliant and on-brand. By offering rich and relevant content to the field, they don't have to develop their own social strategy. Hearsay makes training and execution so easy - their support is unparalleled. We LOVE the Hearsay team!

There's nothing about Hearsay I dislike!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're solving both compliance and marketing issues. Compliance features built into the product by Hearsay removes any oversight or risk issues. And we're gaining the huge benefit of being able to control and strategize with our content.

Most of the sites are listed. Much easier to navigate and I also love their customer service very quick to answer and to the point Solutions’s. Overall a great tool for listing management platform would suggest everyone to use it

I feel it kinda expensive, for small business it works be very beneficial and some sites don’t have much business listening options that too can be added it works be really great.

SOCIAL SITE MANAGEMENT:
If you are a manager of a Facebook business page, you can't connect to the business management profile. Instead, it tries to connect through your personal profile to your privately owned pages.
CANCELLATION POLICY, NO GRACE PERIOD, AND NO REFUND POLICY
First off, please note that you have to provide cancellation within writing 30 days prior to the end of your contract. If you do not, Article 3.1 of the "automatically renewed" contract will lock you in for a minimum $6000+ ($3000 bi-yearly) annual fee. There is absolutely NO GRACE PERIOD to reverse the charge. So if you don't put an automatic reminder on your own calendar or renewal emails go into your spam folder, you're screwed.
When you try to request a refund 2 days after the renewal, they say "Sorry. Article 3.1 has locked you into a new contract." So shady and such a poor business model by Yext. This wasn't a customer coming to them 6 months in. They were contacted the day it was reflected on the bank statement. My advice, if you are signed up with Yext already...contact them to disable automatic renewals so that you don't end up in an expensive vicious cycle of renewing bills and renewing contracts. But my better advice is to support another service that makes honest money from people who actually want the service.

We used Yext for NAP listings. We've realized that there are better and less expensive NAP listing providers out there for small agencies such as MOZ Local that don't have a minimum fee but rather allow you to pay per client account.
Great People, Product, and Partner
What do you like best about the product?
Yext is very effective at keeping data consistent across many locations. As a Yext Partner, TimeTrade is empowering Yext customers to feature TimeTrade click-to-schedule links on their digital channels, so people can easily book appointments with them.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are no aspects of the product I dislike. It's awesome.
