Review of Yext platform
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to manage a number of top directory listings and aggregates in one spot to help with consistency and clients online presence
What do you dislike about the product?
it can be tough for clients that I manage to access their own listings directly to add pics, etc when its all housed under Yext. i have run into issues where we would have to release listing, have clients claim them and then revert back once thats done. can be a big pain. would love to be able to let clients easily access their own listings that are under Yext...more easily
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
consistency within listings, which has a direct benefit to seo

Make is easier for businesses to access their profiles when their marketing company has then set up with yext
Great functionality and support comes at a price

The platform is comprehensive and easy to use, with lots of data.

All services and add-ons come with a hefty price tag.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Local optimization and NAP (name, address. phone #) consistency. Local store pages and store locator.

Ever-improving platform with Best of the Best Customer Service
What do you like best about the product?
Hearsay is always improving their platform to stay on cutting-edge of digital technology, however also taking into consideration customer feedback and the UX. In the past, I've seen my personal feedback become updates to the platform and have enjoyed working on pilots with developers. This company is large enough to play in the big leagues and build dynamic offerings, however small enough that our vendor-to-customer relationship feels very personal and fluid - as if Hearsay is an extension of our own company strategies and our company family.
What do you dislike about the product?
Any time there has been something we didn't like, Hearsay has always been good to bend over backwards to accommodate and/or fix the issue. And quickly... all while keeping us updated and involving us in garnering feedback, testing, and promotion to our field. There will never be a perfect vendor, but Hearsay is about as close as one could come.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hearsay provides a platform where our field can benefit by having readily available pre-approved content to use in their digital marketing efforts, as well as solving the burden of compliance supervision for the company. As they expand the platform, agents continue to benefit through turn-key paid Facebook advertising, customizable sites, email marketing, and messaging - all in one tool.

The simplicity and usability of the platform.

Manual compliance required is a lot of work for short staff.

The ability to regulate our agents social media activity and ability to provide pre approved content for our agents.

What do you like best about the product?
Provides a compliant solution for individuals to use social media. The interface is relatively user-friendly. Ability to pre-populate content for agents provides significant benefit.
What do you dislike about the product?
Training support can be a challenge. Lacking detailed onboarding instructions from the company.

Facilitating compliance approved social media usage and monitoring.

Very few competitive options exist in the market.
Bad experience with HearSay
What do you like best about the product?
I honestly did not like anything about HearSay. Ease of use, analytics, publishing, etc were all out of date within the platform, and there was nothing on their roadmap that had enhancements

Needed a tool for social media publishing, monitoring and listening, and social media analytics, achieved none of those with HearSay

Don't Use Them, They Will Leave You Stranded.
What do you like best about the product?
Well the ease of the program as eventually understanding what the purpose of the program does etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of communication and assistance with the company. Once you purchase it's like they just leave you stranded and hope for the best. They don't care about your goals or long-term strategies as an agency.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to resolve a disolution with our contract. We're hoping to resolve the issues so we don't have to go to collections or attempt to share our negative experience over the web.

Just be sure to read the contract well and be sure to hold them accountable with their assigned team. They will become less concerned about you after awhile...
Yext Makes it Easy
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of setup and the quickness of the data sync
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost of additional feature add-ons while in the middle of a client contract cycle.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Inconsistent and missing location information. Clients often have data inconsistencies and manually management is time consuming

You get what you pay for. Look at the additional features.
Easy to schedule, read results, and has easy access to sharable content for your audience.

Scheduling the month with content at my finger tips, and having my social platforms in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
No twitter access and there is very limited content.

Scheduling once a month frees up my daily schedule.
