Yext is great and easy to use tool

  • April 03, 2020

Most of the sites are listed. Much easier to navigate and I also love their customer service very quick to answer and to the point Solutions’s. Overall a great tool for listing management platform would suggest everyone to use it

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am saving my time and that’s what is important for my business And my employees are happy too.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Overall a good powerful platform to handle your local directors and a pricy one too. But good for it guys

You know what is FASCINATING?

  • April 02, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is a basic program that posts business listings.
What do you dislike about the product?
SOCIAL SITE MANAGEMENT:
If you are a manager of a Facebook business page, you can't connect to the business management profile. Instead, it tries to connect through your personal profile to your privately owned pages.

CANCELLATION POLICY, NO GRACE PERIOD, AND NO REFUND POLICY
First off, please note that you have to provide cancellation within writing 30 days prior to the end of your contract. If you do not, Article 3.1 of the "automatically renewed" contract will lock you in for a minimum $6000+ ($3000 bi-yearly) annual fee. There is absolutely NO GRACE PERIOD to reverse the charge. So if you don't put an automatic reminder on your own calendar or renewal emails go into your spam folder, you're screwed.

When you try to request a refund 2 days after the renewal, they say "Sorry. Article 3.1 has locked you into a new contract." So shady and such a poor business model by Yext. This wasn't a customer coming to them 6 months in. They were contacted the day it was reflected on the bank statement. My advice, if you are signed up with Yext already...contact them to disable automatic renewals so that you don't end up in an expensive vicious cycle of renewing bills and renewing contracts. But my better advice is to support another service that makes honest money from people who actually want the service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used Yext for NAP listings. We've realized that there are better and less expensive NAP listing providers out there for small agencies such as MOZ Local that don't have a minimum fee but rather allow you to pay per client account.

What do you like best about the product?
Compliance is always a struggle in this industry, having this tool makes the submission and posting/approval process of custom posts so seamless, as well as having a vast library of already approved materials available
What do you dislike about the product?
You can't upload videos as a new post. That would be very helpful
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to post consistent content across all my channels and monitor their activity is great. I can see the full engagement of a campaign all in one area
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Its a great tool to manage all social channels in one spot, as well as a great content library and easy way of keeping within compliance regulations

What do you like best about the product?
Our Rep Jillian is amazing! She walks us through all the product updates and visits us on site to discuss future plans. Hearsay also has a create education team that helps us do 4 webinars a year which are tailored to our company. The end users also rave about how user friendly this program is which as helped lead us to a higher adoption rate than we anticipated.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mail needs to be updated with more user friendly features like removing a contact and making sure duplicates aren't created.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
compliance and social media content management has been solved using Hearsay. Much of the benefits we get come from campaigns as a way to push out featured content to a large amount of members withouthvaing to pay for boosted posts online.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend working with the Hearsay team and doing a demo for any company in the financial services industry.

Sharing Financial Services Information in a compliant manner

  • December 11, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Hundred's of pre-approved articles available on various topics. Make compliance and supervision easy across Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter with real-time alerts, supervision and approval trails, and infraction resolution.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a hassle to get personalized content approved but I believe it is the issue with the company policy more than Hearsay social.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability of field force to post articles in a compliant manner and to keep in touch with clients via social media.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It gives the field force in the financial services industry to share information and interact with clients and prospects in a compliant manner.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how customizable the system is to fit my needs
What do you dislike about the product?
So far I can't say there is anything I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hearsay allows us to monitor both profiles and content put out by our registered representatives. The ability to create and upload content for the field to use is very powerful in creating consistent messaging from our organization.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If your looking for a way to monitor and provide content for LinkedIn this platform. Works very well and is simple to use.

Not worth it

  • December 10, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Auto campaigns and having a library of content to look through. Could be organized better
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't schedule in the app, can't tag people in the website or app, triggers action required all the time and is an ongoing issue. Pretty behind for the time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The only real benefit is auto campaigns and having a library of content. This helps people schedule things without looking for them
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It should be a no brainer to be able to schedule content in the app. What's the point of it otherwise? I coach people not to use it, they are better off using LinkedIn directly. And to be able to tag people through scheduling. You lose people immediately because they need to spend time on each social network to go back and tag people. All other social media scheduling tools have this capacity not sure why it's so hard for Hearsay to get it together. The goal of your tool should be to save people time instead of creating more work them to fix the kinks within it.

Helpful in Motivating and Increasing User Engagement

  • December 10, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Hearsay has been an integral tool in increasing our wholesalers' use of social media in order to grow their network and business. The platform also allows for simplified communication between our social media team members and compliance.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to have the capability to publish videos on to LinkedIn from Hearsay with out using a landing page or link.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In working with our representative, we have been able to pull custom reporting to determine areas for future improvement. This has lead to more targeted and relevant campaigns and content.
