Yext strikes an excellent balance between user-friendliness and feature richness. It's damn good!
What do you like best about the product?
I primarily use Yext for its listing features and to take advantage of semantic seach opportunities, but I'm branching out to the reviews and analytic tools. So far I'm very pleased with how well thought-out everything is, and the quarterly updates actually improve the user experience, which is rare and appreciated as far as SaaS products go. To learn my way around, I've been using and referencing the Hitchhiker training course, and I can't recommend that training enough. It's in-depth, text-based, and optimized for a vertical monitor (still works and all horizontally). It introduces concepts in a test environment and makes sure you know what you're doing before you step into your profile and those of your clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
The whitelabeling could be a tad easier, and I'd like to see the web scraper (crawler) tool developed more, with better non-programming customizations. If I could pick which entities and fields I want to import from a preview of a client's site in Yext, that would be my dream scenario. As it is now, it's kind of a "set it up and let it loose" approach to scraping, and that involves more data cleaning than I'd like to do, especially if it wouldn't be too difficult to optimize. This is mostly a convenience gripe, but it's valid in my opinion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The previous SEO specialist in my agency didn't fully utilize Yext, and thanks to the Hitchhiker program, I'm able to use all the features we have access to and realize a complete return on investment. Also, we're seeing spikes in listing-sourced traffic after just a month of gathering data and building out knowledge graphs, and that's awesome!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Set aside time to learn this thing. The Hitchhiker program is invaluable, but you do have to read through it and do the exercises to capitalize on it. A good rule of thumb is 4-5 days for basic admin functions (including knowledge graph usage and listings management) and then another 3 days per additional function (like analytics or reviews). It'll pay off!
Great tool and amazing support
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that all your info is distributed to so many channels, you are not able to manage yourself. The great support is a big plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far! The partnership has been great so far and here is nothing to dislike currently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time management.
Great understanding of strategy and people to execute!
What do you like best about the product?
Yext and the people working for it have been and are a pleasure to work with. They are understanding, collaborative and patient. All qualities you want in a partner.
What do you dislike about the product?
No presence in Australia. As the collaboration happens in the early hours or late afternoons, it makes for long days!

What do you like best about the product?
The best is the level of support and the multitude of resources they produce on regular basis. You can really tell that Yext is investing in continuously improving and developing guides.
What do you dislike about the product?
I thought that the Yext Listings would be a quicker implementation, but the onboarding is a longer than expected process. Their timeline puts several weeks between the launch of listings on several platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving multiple problems with multiple Yext solutions. Yext Listings will help align all business locations, Yext Answers will serve as search on our web and Yext Pages helps us build quickly new agency pages.

We are able to manage our 500+ locations easily in one place. Where we have some opportunities is in the review and sentiment area where we had no visibility before.
