A great solution for a busy digital marketing team when managing multiple locations
What do you like best about the product?
I like how we were able to get all our franchisees using the platform to go in and respond to reviews. It is also beneficial in my position because I can easily update multiple locations at one time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the reviews platform has more integrations with other places where our restaurant receives reviews; for example, Yelp, TripAdvisor are all places where we aren't able to respond directly to guests. It would also be beneficial if the Yext and Yelp integration were better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are utilizing Yext to improve our ability for franchisees to respond to reviews in one place; we are also using it to keep restaurants informed when they have left a review. When all our review data come into one place, we can analyze struggling locations set up filters to monitor particular collections of words used. We can monitor if franchisees are responding and measure how long it takes them to reply.

Ease of use with the Knowledge Graph and Analytics
What do you dislike about the product?
lag time on some of the analytics, a week or so delay in some reporting

Keeping local entities updated through one source and managing banker and location pages through the same Knowledge Graph
Excellent Product
What do you like best about the product?
Yext has been incredibly helpful in getting our reviews and GMB pages under control. We have seen an increase in our insight, knowledge, brand perception and overall response time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Yext can be slightly overwhelming to get your head around all the features. The training is helpful, but could be improved with a little more direction from the system; i.e. "I want to achieve XYZ" and the system could tell you what you need to do, learn and implement accordingly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're gathering far more insight into our customer experience and perception, as well as being able to control the google narrative much more accurately. Gone are the inconsistencies from location to location - all our listings are sharp, clean and up to date. This has boosted our SEO capabilities also.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do the training and work with their teams to develop the insight and knowledge that you need. I would strongly recommend that you have a dedicated administrator also to control the overall platform, access and reporting. Ensure that you are utilising the insight and knowledge to drive information, reviews and application across the business.
Excellent products and service
What do you like best about the product?
Yext's services have helped us to manage our local pack listings for multiple sites in bulk and at scale, this was particularly useful throughout the pandemic. Site search has provided us with a great level of insight that we wouldn't normally have achieved.
What do you dislike about the product?
When busy, our service support times can sometimes be a bit slower but the team are always quick to respond when we raise this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Insight into what our guests are looking for trhough Answers has been hugely beneficial and helped us to make changes to our website content. This in turn means our guest journey is enhanced.
Intuitive, supportive, effective platform. Highly recommend.
What do you like best about the product?
Their Customer Success Managers are friendly, know the platform inside out and above all, genuinely want to do their best for their clients. The introduction of their Answers platform trial was an eye-opener which has increased website functionality beyond anything we could have achieved in-house.
What do you dislike about the product?
Interface can be intimidating at first, but once you know your way around it's easy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Changing search engine listings is an easy enough job, but having to manage multiple profiles across hundreds of sites and search engines is a never ending job. I initially signed up to Yext to see how much easier the task could be and from then the relationship has gone from strength to strength.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Know what you want to achieve as a starting position and get to know the platform as much as possible. From there you can build on a solid foundation.
Time saver, more productive way of working
What do you like best about the product?
How easy the platform is to use. How can make 1 change across hundreds of accounts which would of taken years if we had to update ever individual listing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes don't think the connection to google/bing is always 100% sending the updates we have made. Especially Bing
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Good, but can tell that we aren't a platinum customer anymore. As the responses used to be quick/same day. Now waiting a couple of days for a response.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Yext is the ultimate player in listing management. If your need to update 100s of locations with opening hours, message changes, new services this can be done in an instant. When COVID19 hit in 2020 Yext was our source to get information out to our customers simply and at ease while the world was upside down.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can update all my locations very easily and how it helps manages all my business and any changes that I need to make. I also like the feedback that I receive each month and how I can always get help when something needs to be updated.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that I can not speak with a customer rep. Everything is done through email or chat.Sometimes it is nice to speak with someone and get clarification and help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to make sure that my business is reaching our consumers on all platforms and that the information is accurate and easy for our customers to utilize. It also gives me a lot of helpful information and ideas to improve our website.
Yext has a lot of strengths but also some weaknesses

Dashboard capabilities, people are friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting data sometimes has issues. Sometimes the data doesn't match the date range I put in, usually when I request last 13 months it won't give me the correct info.

We like the platform and the extraordinary team that handled our accounts. We also see great results, so we are ensured that the efforts and strategies are effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's nice to have a single point of contact instead of several account managers handling our accounts. There's really not much that we dislike.

Our online presence and we see how YEXT works with different directories seamlessly. Manually, it may get hard to approve a listing, but with YEXT, it's effortless.
