Positive Experience of 3+ years
What do you like best about the product?
It's so hard to choose one thing as there are many things that I love about Yext.
I work in customer experience and focus on the problem points in a customer's journey. I am not SEO oriented so I mainly use this platform for the purpose of listing and review management.
The ease of use and real-time updates is a game changer for our brand. Yext's system is built to be extremely user friendly. Everything is easy to find, action, and understand. All the updates happen in real-time which has been such an important part of the customer experience. Especially considering the sudden business hour changes throughout the pandemic in the past couple of years. This includes review responses. Having our responses publish immediately to the reviewer is really changing how we can support our own clients.
The service and support from the account management team is phenomenal. I have never had better service, honestly. They are very involved in maintaining a consistent and positive relationship. They take the time to understand the brand they're working with and suggest products based on this. They do tons of groundwork for testing and getting a visual to these suggestions too.
Having used a platform similar to Yext and then having made the change to Yext (3+years), I have not looked back and don't plan on it. The service and product are of great quality!

What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I do not like is that, sometimes it can take upward to two days to get data on apple maps updated.

Great product, excellent support
What do you like best about the product?
Everything. The Yext location listings and pages platform are efficient and easy to use, the reporting tools are superior to many other web services that I've used, and there are quarterly updates to the platform that show their dedication to growth and improvement. Above all, though, the customer support has been outstanding. Our account rep is always ready to help us with anything we need, and our monthly touch-base calls are always informative and insightful.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much that I would change about either the Yext offerings or our relationship with them. I suppose there is always room for improvement, and if I've ever noticed anything that wasn't easy to use, they have fixed it by now. The add-ons and extra services besides the locations can be pricey but the value they bring is worth it in my experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When we started with Yext, many of our online map listings were either missing or incorrect which led to regular calls from unhappy customers. Yext helped smooth that over and, through our purchase of their Pages product, establish informational web pages for each location that generates traffic and revenue in ways that we were missing before.

What do you like best about the product?
Always very professional and responsive. Platform is solid and they are always making enhancements to their services.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not always clear to us what the next most important area of our account is to clean up. Listings also getting deprecated or disconnected without much explanation. Would be nice to know ahead of time when old listings platforms will be going away and new listing options are available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have visibility into how well and how much activity our listings are fetching, primarily our GMB actions. Love the YoY, prev. period stat comparisons.
All-in-one excellent tool for online location and reputation management
What do you like best about the product?
Everything I need to manage my company's location listings is in one place. With one click, Yext automatically updates my company's location listings across dozens of sites, freeing up what would otherwise be countless hours of staff time for our hundreds of locations. Bulk editing is helpful with changes, whether big or small. Online reviews can be easily responded to and reported on. The Yext team is also very kind, helpful, and quick to respond.
What do you dislike about the product?
The analytics portion of the platform can be confusing to set up for those of us who are not analysts. Due to Yelp's privacy settings, Yext is unable to export the message section of Yelp reviews. There is a lot of staff turnover at the account manager level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All location listings can be updated in real-time when I'm made aware of a change, closing, or new addition. Information controlled through the Yext platform is trusted among our audiences and stakeholders and is often considered the unofficial source of truth.
Seamless business relationship
What do you like best about the product?
The immediacy of response, reliable, knowledgeable, efficient, professional.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I request assistance, I don't particularly appreciate receiving the automated pool answers; I'd rather wait an extra couple of hours and receive a reply from the specialist.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Yes, by having the company's Google Business pages managed all together and duplicate suppression.
Yext is very very helpful in many ways
What do you like best about the product?
ORiginally it was the "write once-publish many" directory listing features...which we still use. But the platform has expanded way beyond that ....I hope we can use the new features on our new web platform soon!

Nothing really. it all seems to be working sa advertised.

What do you like best about the product?
YEXT has allowed us to take a large body of knowledge and consolidate it into one convenient location. That knowledge is then able to be shared with a broad network of search platforms, including healthcare-specific entities. This allows us to ensure in just a few keystrokes that our information is correct for the consumer. It has been an incredibly valuable tool during the global pandemic that has challenged our healthcare landscape.
Secondly, the review generation product has exceeded our expectations providing us with valuable tools to grow our search presence. While there are many competitors who offer similar products, partnering with YEXT for review generation allows us to simplify our process, track the results and have consistent support as an enterprise partner.
Lastly, enterprise-level support has been my favorite tool. They are not just here to help solve problems but to equip me to utilize the YEXT product the fullest extent. The team has been the kindest and most hardworking partner. We are grateful to have their expertise in our pocket to empower us as we make marketing decisions that position us as leaders in our community.

I would like to see further development of their relationships with third-party entities like Yelp and healthcare-specific entities such as Health Grades. Advanced relationships will allow us to customize those platforms even more than we already can.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our marketing and communications team is small but mighty. Utilizing YEXT has allowed us to "expand our staff" due to the tools available as well as the expert service. Prior to YEXT we were trying to maintain our information across multiple different platforms with separate sign-ins and vendor relationships. Not only was this a complicated process it was not a cost-effective model. With YEXT we are able to maintain one source of truth sharing it with as many search platforms as possible.
Once we built the foundation of a good search presence, we wanted to make sure we were doing everything we could to grow our search presence. YEXT's review generation and management tool has allowed us to optimize our search presence in a consistent and lasting way across our healthcare system. That tool has increased our Google search views by 55% when compared year over year (2021 vs. 2020).

If you want to establish a relationship with a true partner for growth, consider YEXT for your organization. They have been one of the very best investments we have made in the area of marketing and communications for our healthcare system. We have a foundation and plan for growth, together we shoulder the burden which expands the bandwidth of our team.
Nonjudgemental Working Relationship
What do you like best about the product?
We are a large adult retail chain in the US; we have 46 stores nationwide. It's tough for us to pursue everyday business marketing and organizational initiatives; many companies won't do business with our organization because of who we are and what we sell. So we are very appreciatative and value the non-judgemental relationships we have with YEXT. Not only are we treated like a typical retailer, but we're also given all the same courtesies as a regular business. Thank you for helping us normalize the conversation and remove stigma in the business world!
What do you dislike about the product?
Yext has so many wonderful features, and they are always coming up with innovations to the platform. As someone managing multiple platforms for their organization, I am very constrained on time. It would be great to sit down regularly with someone from development to go over new features and how we can best utilize or integrate them with our business.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our issues are with the organiations on the YEXT network. They are discriminating against us and won't take data from our listings because of who we are and what we sell.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you manage multiple locations and or multiple business listing platforms, make it easier on yourself, consolidate and try YEXT!

What do you like best about the product?
Yext has allowed me to consolidate many of my business search services into one platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the platform can seem a bit confusing for some end-users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are saving hours of labor by removing the need to log into various systems to make updates to pages for each individual location. Therefore, Yext is saving us money in labor and allowing us to focus that time elsewhere. Furthermore, it ensures that details match across multiple sites.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend that users who also manage Yelp, be sure to add the Yelp connection to Yext. You may need to work with your Yelp and your Yext account reps to accomplish this.
Great Program!
What do you like best about the product?
This has been one of the best platforms for Local SEO. The one hub that feeds all their partners has been such a time saver and allowed our agency to spend more time working on other client needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few partner relationships that call for us to reach out to them directly with issues. I was hoping with Yext we wouldn't have to. It is minimal though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have many clients that we manage off-site SEO and reputation for and this platform is so much easier than any others we have used. The ease of being in Yext to feed information to a variety of directories and search engines all at once has made the process less time-consuming.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You will be happy you went with Yext. Know going in you will have to reach out to Google, Yelp, and Apple occasionally with rare issues.
