Sometimes things get lost in the mix but nothing a little communication can't fix

What do you like best about the product?
I think it's great that Yext makes it so easy for local businesses to have correct information across all online profiles, which is great for proper NAP and SEO purposes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the user experience isn't great for some purposes, and I've had experiences working at an agency where representatives from Yext will try to poach our larger clients to try and sell the directly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having proper NAP across online profiles to improve online visibility and SEO online.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Reach out for support, and make sure that Yext reps arnt trying to poach your clients.

Useful but over-priced and a bit of a bully

What do you like best about the product?
Comprehensive suite of tools that ensures sites are indexed well with proper details and information. Reasonable levels of control and efficient tools for doing bulk work.
What do you dislike about the product?
They have you at a disadvantage and they know it. They don't do a lot of SEO the 'right' way and just shortcut by feeding directly into search engine APIs. But this means if you ever stop working with them, your progress instantly vanishes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Multiple location listings managed for a restaurant chain, including accurate info related to amenities, menus, etc for over 400 locations. Also, general SEO for the brand and company sites.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider other options and ensure that landing pages and onsite SEO is still solid so you have an exit strategy if/when Text becomes too expensive (they hike prices often)

What do you like best about the product?
It's a very user friendly platform, allowing you to edit most of your listings all in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
It seems like Yext is starting to veer off from their main focus.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing over 25+ location listings for our hotel properties and restaurants. It is tremendously helping with our SEO and overall brand recognition.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to manage information for locations in a single section that automatically pushes the information out to all relevant listing sites.
What do you dislike about the product?
The current lack of a drag and drop CMS solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Over the years we have gradually expanded our footprint with Yext and managing individual store pages and growing site infrastructure.

What do you like best about the product?
Yext keeps our information consistent across the web and helps us to manage all of our customer reviews across different sites.
What do you dislike about the product?
Yext can be a lot of work on the front end to get it to do what you need, but the team is highly supportive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can manage all of our reviews in one place, which was much more of a tedious process before having Yext. We have been able to display our menu on google and change different offerings (curbside, indoor dining, etc.) of our stores, which became extremely important during the Covid-19 pandemic. We also recently added the Answers experience to our website to better understand what our customers are searching for so that we can improve our website.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The customer service is excellent; they are always there to help find solutions for your company as things change. They are constantly updating the software to serve current issues and have created solutions for something I had suggested on the platform. So long as you have someone to utilize this tool daily, it's definitely worth the money!

Where would we be without YEXT?!

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of being able to update locations in one platform saving the team so much time and ensures information is accurate.
What do you dislike about the product?
That as a small team the updates can sometimes we overwhelming to keep up with. It can be difficult to know which are necessary for us to use and which will enhance our listings. Duplicates are also a source of confusion for us and how to easily rectify them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before YEXT the information on our listings was inaccurate across the publisher network. Today we have a much higher percentage of accurate information and it's super quick to update anything that is out of date. The benefit of time saving and having one platform control everything is incredible for our team as before we could waste entire days trying to track down log ins and access publisher accounts with litte success.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have multipe locations, YEXT is a no-brainer. It's efficient, and overall, easy to use. But it's the teams behind YEXT which make it invaluable, their knowledge and support is incredible - it seems there is no end to the help they can provide.

What do you like best about the product?
My team at Yext has been super helpful with issues + projects we've worked on, plus they're genuinely great to work with. The Yext platform makes it easy for our field to keep a close eye on reputation management by being able to see various listing's reviews all in one place. Because our team is still small, working with Yext has increased efficiency for multiple aspects like listings and reputation management, along with location page design + implementation. While I haven't worked with competitors, my positive experience makes me reluctant to switch.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I wish there were more proactive solutions to issues we have on the platform. As one of the only active account managers, it is hard for me to catch errors in listings and missed opportunities for SEO. Price is also something that has come up with our leadership team. We are confident that Yext is a great product, but are sometimes worried that we may eventually get priced out of our budget as we add locations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a fast growing company, Yext is really efficient in making sure our location listings are consistent across web listings, our loyalty app, and our website. It also is makes our local management team's lives easier by being able to keep a close eye on their reputation management and listing information. When we first launched with Yext, we noticed a major increase in web traffic as well.
