The tool is great but service is lacking, I'm a 1-person team and had to teach myself how to use it.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to scale changes across locations. Also the Support team is great when I need help or bandwidth to make changes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much training beyond links to webinars. I actually knew more about the product than my new contact during a "training" session.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scaling GMB/listings updates across multiple facilities

What do you like best about the product?
Very user-friendly, easy to navigate, lots of different functionality all in one spot. Our team currently utilizes the knowledge graph for all franchise locations, reviews, social cascading, + much more.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the connections between Facebook and Yext get disrupted and makes social cascading a little challenging, but that happens very seldomly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Yext is helping us have one centralized source of truth for all of our franchise locations' business information. This makes it extremely easy and simplified for our team to make updates in one spot.
Great Platform Along with Great Insights
What do you like best about the product?
The thing I enjoy the best about the Yext platform is that is is easy to use and I can gather the insights that I need to include in my report

I don't have any dislikes at this time, I quite enjoy the tool.

The amound of customer inquiries and understanding what customers are saying about my business is quite informative

I have used Yext for several years and have yet to find a feature I truly dislike.

Updating store profiles quickly makes my life so much easier!

I don't have a great example - I guess when some listings don't update and need help being published.

Updating store listings is just one part of my job - so being able to do that quickly and efficiently is wonderful.

It's nice being able to see all of the business entities in one place.

Yext could be more diligent about updating the changes across platforms and guarding GMB listings from being edited from outside sources.

Being able to update one location and have the changes reflected across multiple platforms is helpful.

I appreciate the flexibility and support in finding ways to bring value to the partnership.
What do you dislike about the product?
The products / services are expenseive often making it difficult for me to justify them to management. As a company there's constant pressure to cut third-party expense.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our current scope is listings management / citation. We've signficantly reduced the manual burden and are making timely updates to our listings. It's a huge win to address listings issues in matter of minutes / hours.
The only tool to fully manage your business' Online listings
What do you like best about the product?
The tool and features are hands down the only way to know you have a full grasp of your local presence across the web. It has an excellent interface and the reporting tools help us show value to our clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have had a few account managers in the past several months but our newest one is awesome. The price is steeper than other "local listing management" tool but that combat that with the value provided.

As a digital marketing agency, we use Yext to manage our client's local listings across 100+ citation platforms and provide real-time updates to all listings across the web.

This is a great tool if you are looking for the best option to manage your local listings across the web.

the amount of data is amazing. I think the data that is provided is beneficial to the companies it serves.

At one point in time, clients could get GMB listings set up without the headache of dealing with postcards. That was the one benefit of Yext in my opinion, and that isn't how they handle it anymore.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pretty much everything, but I especially dislike how I have to communicate with so many people just within one account. Then multiply that by our various clients, because they assign you a whole new team each time, and then anticipate a ton of turnover on that team so the communication point changes often.
Not respectful of clients' time. Not very efficient.
Too many meetings, unnecessary. Overcharge our clients for what they get in my opinion. Oversell what their products really do. Very sales-oriented as opposed to customer service-oriented.
