Everything you need for a mass listing all in one dashboard.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and quick customer service when needed. The price is also affordable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Forwarding reviews to other departments is currently taking to long to send.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Yext has helped update at least one location that has been addressed in a different state. Also, they have taken care of the most difficult vendors with wrong address information.
Support can be spotty, sales can be pushy
What do you like best about the product?
I like the intuitive nature of the listings platform. It's easy to train additional staff on, and relatively simply to operate. Competitors can offer too many bells and whiseltes beyond what we need.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the turnover of the sales/support staff. Sales team seems to be undertrained and looking to maximize $ rather than customer satisfaction. An actual account rep rather than an outsourced support team would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's streamlining listing management for us which is great. The one stop shop for hours changes, especially in these staffing times, is great. It's relieved staff time on listing management overall.
Yext is the Ultimate Time-Saver
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can update all our web listings in one place. The Yext Knowledge Graph is exceptionally user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I have not encountered anything I dislike about Yext.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are utilizing Yext to manage our web listings and ultimately improve organic search performance. Instead of updating our hours of operation across multiple publishers, we can quickly update in one place and see those updates reflected on each publisher.
Yext customer for years!
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of the platform. Easy to use, navigate, and train on.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that this was integrated with Yelp.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This platform saves us a lot of time; we can focus on other location operations.
Yext (Local Listings)
What do you like best about the product?
Store info. is kept current and consistent across the web. Great customer service.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can occasionally take a little bit longer than desired for confirmation that store data has been updated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping store info (address, phone #, website) correct and accurate throughout the internet.
New Client Review
What do you like best about the product?
The data provided by the platform far exceeds what has been available from prior vendors and provides actionable insights into our digital footprint. The report builder is extremely intuitive and allows for any slice and dice required. The onboarding experience was also the single best implementation I've ever gone through. The team provided exact guidance on what I needed to provide and when and exceeded expectations on rollout.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not yet found anything that I dislike given that I've only been a client for two months!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Yext helps manage our location data across the publisher network and provides relevant data insights on how we're performing against competitors and which locations need optimization support.
Good service to establish an organic presence
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and changes appear quickly. Network is a good size.
What do you dislike about the product?
The new homepage. Not much else needs improving.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organic presence in one spot which helps clients.
Yext has made a positive impact on the way I manage over 60+ locations
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the simplicity of the ability to manage, edit, review and organize our Branch locations. It also serves as a "one stop shop" for review management. This can easily be exported to our auditing team as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish more features from Google My Business were integrated - like the verification process of a new location. Additionally I wish there was a way to expide cases within the platform to submit to provers like Google. Reporting reviews, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Yext has greatly impacted our location management and the time it takes to manage all 60+ of our locations. As we grow and add more branches through acquisitions, the team helps a ton to ensure we feel comfortable with the addition of more branches over time.
A flawed tool that barely makes it easier than managing all the profiles yourself.
What do you like best about the product?
You can have your business information on multiple platforms and see where your information is listed.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. The status of a listing is often not correct ... it says "synced" but not actually synced
2. The support team is atrocious, it: a) doesn't respond on time, b) doesn't do what you ask them to, c) will provide conflicting information in the same ticket, d) give totally inconsistent responses as to whether they can do something
3. Duplicate resolution and merge requests --- Yext claims they can do that and monitor for it, but neither do they monitor, help you merge, or suppress duplications -- in fact you have to do most of the work yourself
4. Data sync is inconsistent ... even if you update data it doesn't always migrate to all the platforms, so you have to check individual platforms which defeats the whole purpose of Yext
5. We paid for a healthcare subscription, but we only get 2 healthcare specific directories, and they're very obscure ones; this is because we are "healthcare locations" and we weren't given that information before paying extra for the subscription

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows you to be on more directories than you would normally be on, and have all of your data in one place.
Specific product for specific need
What do you like best about the product?
Listings - The promise of improving your internet appearance organically via consistency in information
What do you dislike about the product?
The setup - as a previous small biz customer, the self guided knowledge graph in 2021 was great, easy and able to update credit card info easily. Purchased for a new small biz in 2022, treated like an enterprise account, required docusign, more confusing user interface, and kickoff call which was completely irrelevant. Rather than kicking off how to change my Facebook photo branding, maybe kickoff with how to login to my knowledge graph, what hitchhikers is, how to make an entity and turn it into a listing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have inconsistent data across platforms; we're using yext to create uniformity.
