One spot to see it all
What do you like best about the product?
Yext offers a single location to view most if not all of the data you might be looking for regarding your online presence. We have used the customer support and it was outstanding. The gentleman I spoke with answered all of my questions and helped get us set up for monthly analysis reports to be emailed to myself and marketing specialist.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a bit intimidating to use initially because of the broad capabilities the platform offers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Yext provides a one stop shop centralizing all online data analytics for review and optimization.

Run. Just Run. Worst Customer Support I’ve Encountered in 12 Years
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and maintaining listings. Updating all directories.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer support, customer support, customer support — or in Yext’s case, the total lack of it. I’ve worked in marketing for over a decade, and I have never encountered customer service this bad — not even close.
It’s not just slow… it’s nonexistent. Account managers? Ghosts. Support tickets? Black hole. Follow-up? Forget about it. Emails are ignored, escalations go nowhere, and you’re left completely in the dark when you need help the most.
We’ve been a Yext customer for 3 years — far too long. This is absolutely our final year, and I would strongly caution anyone considering them: Don’t make the same mistake we did. When something goes wrong (and it will), you’ll be completely on your own.

Nothing that nobody else isn't. They own the listings, so if you leave, you lose all the progress. But customer support is more important to me and it does not exist at Yext.

What do you like best about the product?
Used the tool in the past and when its all synced up it really simplifies managing multiple location listings. But if you have any issues, don't expected the support to resolve this.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer support is shocking, i've had issues with synced up listings and asked for help and been ignored multiple times over the last year. I messaged them about adding another listing to my contract and received a message straight away, it says a lot

nothing currently due to non synced listings and now seeing listings being removed from Google or information on them being incorrect
Very easy to navigate and the best platform I've used in a while

What I like most about Yext is how easy it is to navigate. If I need assistance, I can read on how to implement something step by step.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I don't like is how long it take for information to integrate from different platforms. I know that's not at the fault of Yext but it can take weeks for listings to go from pending to synced.

Helping us respond to our customers' reviews and making sure our listing is updated frequently and consistently.

I like that Yext is always evolving to what the current state of information is, to ensure clients get the most out of their platform. For example working with open ai in the future, the ease of adding widgets, and Google attributes so, our members can boost SEO.

It helps our Loan Officers build their SEO seamlessly.

The platform is incredibly easy to use, and the ability to update business information across multiple directories in one place saves us so much time.

The lack of full control over how our business appears on certain platforms like Google and Yelp. Some platforms have their own rules and restrictions, which means that even with Yext, we can’t always make the exact changes we want.

Yext integrates with major directories allowing us to maintain consistent and accurate business information across multiple platforms. This contributes to an increase in team bandwidth.
Great for businesses with 5+ locations, not for anything less

It's great for keeping things consistent and saving you from endless updates. It's automation features are good too.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be pricey for small businesses with only 2-4 locations.
Canceling the subscription is also a headache—once you stop, your listings can vanish or become outdated with zero context of how to update them yourself.

As a small business owner, Yext simplifies managing my online presence. Instead of juggling updates across platforms like Google, Yelp, and Facebook, I update once, and Yext syncs it everywhere. It saves time and eliminates errors.
