Amazing Plataform
What do you like best about the product?
The insights and the badges tool. And like the new template design

Some dashboards could be improved, like the AI communication tool reports. It hasn't integrated reports.

The D@L help me track the students study behavior and improve our customer experience strategy.

What do you like best about the product?
what I like the most is the interface to navigate the courses. It's easy to upload content. I also like evaluation tools such as rubrics and I love video notes on discussion forums.
What do you dislike about the product?
We need a dashboard for the administrators of the Brightspace platform that allows us to see the following data: Course name, ID, Professor, University, creation date.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
During the covid19 pandemic, Brihgtspace was a great solution because all the students and professors at the university had a course on the platform and that helped to avoid missing students. We were able to continue the operation of classes through brightspace because this platform syncs with the school registration and registration system. The buildings were closed but the platform was open 24 hours a day and that helped us to continue classes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend Brightspace because it offers you tools in which a school has everything in one place: Course administration, student and teacher enrollment, monitoring, synchronous and asynchronous classes, learning assessment and learning analytics.

What do you like best about the product?
The easy way to grade and keep the grades record. How to organize the content and upload files, videos images, etc. It has a variety of activities like quizzes discussions, etc.

That there are not transitions or animations in the content that I upload unless I use Genially

I just have had a problem but it was something the person incharged of the system made.
He added a requirement in the middle of the course and an activity that I had already assessed was erased but the grades were kept.

I consider it a very useful platform for education, it is complete enough and very friendly. I recommend o watch the tutorial which has helped me a lot to make better use of the platform and also to explain to my students how to use it.

The ease of managing the contents and the tools that allow a transparent interaction of the user with the different resources. Uploading documents and setting up the gradebook are two great features.

The writing space is very small for editing documents.

Teachers use the LMS with greater confidence, seeking to use technology as an important axis of the teaching and learning process.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the interface, content creating, adding resources from other sites. The debates section is quite good, better than similar platforms.

I'm not too fond of the evaluation system; it is a bit complicated. I find it hard to generate grading reports. Additionally, copying content from other courses is not intuitive. I have two sections of the same class, and copying content between them takes too much time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was able to structure the coursework through Brightspace. I think it is easier to understand, review and follow than with other platforms. Students access the class site, start by browsing the content for the current week, read the material, watch the videos and do the assignments. It is more organized and accessible for me, I had to struggle with other tools to achieve similar results.
It is a very complete LMS that constantly implements improvements suggested by its community.
What do you like best about the product?
The program has an intuitive graphic interface, which makes it an easy tool to use and implement even with teachers who are not very fond of technology. Another of the things that I like the most is the community they have, since it can generate conversation between teachers and give the opportunity to propose ideas and vote for them to be taken into account in subsequent updates.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reports that can be generated are limited and some are a bit confusing to understand, since the information they handle on many occasions is not useful or relevant, although it is something that is constantly improving.
Another point to improve is the mobile application, it has too many limitations and in many cases it does not allow viewing in the same way as a web browser, which generates confusion in users.

We use this tool mainly to offer teachers a virtual classroom, where they can design all the content and activities of their courses, creating a conducive environment for teaching and learning.

It is a very intuitive and easy-to-use program, even for users who are not familiar with any LMS. Brightspace has implemented many tools that allow instructors to design complete courses.

VHS Learning has been hosting all of our 250+ online courses through Brightspace since 2009. Brightspace is a solid, stable, and easy-to-use courseware platform with a decent number of classroom engagement tools and is extendable through standard APIs. D2L's commitment to educators, administrators, and the students they serve is unparalleled.
What do you dislike about the product?
Ideally, we would like to see D2L focus more dev efforts on collaboration, interaction, and community building tools and features as part of the base product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
VHS Learning is a nonprofit collaboration of 700+ member schools across the nation and around the world. We're providing students (grades 6-12) and teachers with collaborative and engaging learning opportunities to supplement what is offered at their local schools. Our teacher-led courses/classrooms are 100% online, our student body is from all time zones, and our students are taking these robust courses for credit through their local high schools. D2L Brightspace allows us to provide all of our courses through a single online course platform with navigation and tools that are easy to use for teachers, students, course developers, and admin alike. The stability and "invisibility" of the technology and platform allow our participants to focus on the content, curriculum, and learning activities first and foremost.

In general, everything is excellent. I would improve the user navigation between courses. As a new program and application, the knowledge when starting is hard to get, but in terms of usability, everything is excellent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Courses and third apps integration are the benefits I can mention, are helping us decide to change our LMS. In terms of usability, Brightspace gives us all the necessary tools to implement and join the academic guidelines, we used to create on the previous LMS.
In terms of reports the platform is above we needed, and this is one of the most interesting things in britgspace, we enjoy the opportunitie to play, learn and develop courses in the platform.

Talking from our Personal experience, the implementation team was very active on every single question we have, and this is what a client is looking for in a new system, the human fact.

What do you like best about the product?
I will remark tow main aspects from D2L Brightspace. I the first place, it's minimalist approach is magnificent. The graphic interface has no redundant elements, because every label, icon and button has an specific purpose. These aspect makes that every interaction with D2L Brightspace is an exceptional experience.
On the other hand, D2L Brightspace has paid attention to the usability, making the LMS very easy to use for both teachers and students. This has a direct impact in many situations. For instance, when you need to promote a transition from a different LMS, it wil be more easy and smooth when the new LMS has so many advantage. Another example is related to the student's learning experience. In the case of D2L Brightspace, the user experience that it provides will impact the student's motivation, focus and quality of learning.

I will like to have more personalization options regarding D2L Brightspace's visualization and graphic identity. In our institution is really important to have the option of change certain graphic elements of D2L Brightspace in order to create a "brand" for the different academic programs. This "brand" allows that the students of a specific academic program feel the LMS as their own, as a special place when only they can access and encounter with their teachers and partners.

In my university, we needed an effective way to track students progress through competencies. so D2L integrated solution is ideal.

In the first place, I will recommend D2L Brightspace to anyone, no questions asked! It is and extraordinary platform that will support and enhance the educational experience of any institution.
