Why I would suggest D2L
What do you like best about the product?
I love everything! I use it everyday for college, it's not a very hard website to get around, everything is right there in front of you! Especially making finding grades, links not just on your laptop or desktop but on your phone as well!
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the only thing I dislike is that there isn't anywhere to help you find stuff if you don't know the app as well as someone who uses it well would.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
From moving to D2L from google classroom it's benefits me so much better, being able to take tests inside the website, PowerPoints, easy to get files, and it's compatible with not only google laptops but Mac's as well

What do you like best about the product?
D2L is changing the way our learners engage with freshmen level courses that lead to college credit. We are seeing lots of sign ups and engagement.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is so much to learn and understand to make the biggest impact for our end user - the learners.

D2L allows our program to scale.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Distance education, with the numerous resources that D2L offers, has shortened the distance between student and teacher.
D2L provides us innovation, personalized learning and competent and available support.

I like the design, the customization options, and the variety of resources and activities.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t like how the forum is organized. It could be simpler both in terms of creation and in how to respond.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The LMS that the institution was using no longer met our needs, especially regarding the organization of resources and activities in the virtual space and the extraction of reports, which are essential for managing the teaching and learning process.

What do you like best about the product?
Help me to guide me in the course, the progress in the module, and the content. The configuration of the different elements in the panel is good.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the way the notice is displayed, and the kerning in the interface; the line height is wrong. The structure for the debates, to read and see the comments, is very difficult.

Resolve the tracking data regarding the students' progress and the review of the course content.
Attractive and intuitive platform
What do you like best about the product?
D2L Brightspace is an intuitive and attractive platform for teachers and students.
One of the advantages of the platform is its customization, which has allowed our Campus to have a visual appearance in line with the center's corporate image. On the other hand, the teacher has a wide range of possibilities when creating grading elements for students (rubrics, quizzes...). Additionally, thanks to the communication channels, constant communication can be established between teacher and student, which is ideal for our online modality students.
All of this makes learning flexible and personalized.

What do you dislike about the product?
When needing/requesting a function within the platform itself, we must wait for the other organizations to also request it so that it can be evaluated and/or applied.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us to have a space that allows for a system of evaluation and communication with the students both in-person and online.
Highly recommended.

When generating reports in the data center, you cannot apply some filters without needing to extract all the data, for example, by user, by OU, etc., it only allows filtering by date.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The attendance roll call tool, not very interactive, we already submitted a suggestion more than a year ago, without any news.
New features and new possibilities associated with greater autonomy.
What do you like best about the product?
D2L Brightspace has enabled me greater autonomy in executing daily tasks as well as exceeded my expectations regarding the use of its features.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the aspects I find most complicated about using D2L concerns the backup and the way of creating a discussion space.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
D2L Brightspace allowed for greater autonomy in the organization of curricular units, facilitated interaction between students and teachers with the possibility of recording videos and audios directly on the platform. We also use Brightspace so that the Communication department can make institutional announcements. Not to mention the ease of being able to remodel the organizational structure according to demands without the risk of losing content.
