Change the way you train your students, using D2L Brightspace tools.
What do you like best about the product?
Student training platform very intuitive and formative, the interface is really simple to make the student feel comfortable working with it, it is a very reliable service, the training provided by D2L is exceptional. It adapts to any institutional need, I am a fan of the quick assessments, they offer a customization of small tests very fun. It has a very versatile mobile application available, I can program my quizzes or questions from the comfort of my phone, you can reward those students who have achieved the objectives, the option to create groups by category is another of my favorites, as we can group by sections. With D2L you can create debates, this is very useful to bring didactics to education.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform is very anchored to what they want, I would like more customization in other areas, so that it adapts to my needs at that moment. The form to evaluate tends to be very repetitive, there is very little documentation, there should be a guide on how to get started in the program. The interface needs to be customized to get the most out of it, as it can be very confusing initially.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We decided to implement D2L as a tool that would allow us to automate a bit the creation of content, assignments, quizzes, and training tests for our students, and it has certainly been a great success in our organization as it has allowed us to create more didactic solutions for all our students. As a training tool, we have also created a lot of web development courses on the platform that serve as support material for our classes.

What do you like best about the product?
easy to use LMS that has all the features that we are looking for and also has all the features that our post secondaries and schools want to see in an LMS. Like the ability to setup Microcredentials and would like to see further advancements.
What do you dislike about the product?
The release conditions have changed since May 2023 that doesnt allow the visit all content and topics selection to disregard non-mandatory sections to be completed by the user. THe Microcredential stacking strategy should be more easy to use when trying to stack many courses together towards a final certificate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to host courses for schools to take and also provideing microdential strateg for micro learning.

What do you like best about the product?
Brightspace is really simple to use. I think that is what I like most: it's simplicity. It is very straight forward, and you dont have to go through a million steps to do something.
What do you dislike about the product?
After using brightspace for a while, I haven't really noticed anything as a downside. It is all pretty simple and straightforward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I think brightspace is very inclusive, and it closes the gap between the older generation and technology. It is great for all users, not only the newer generation.

What do you like best about the product?
Integration, seamless user experience, superior instructor experience
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing comes to mind - I generally enjoy using the learning environment for content development and course facilitation. I am interested in learning more about strategic implementation and I am gaining a lot of insights by attending Fusion 2023.

Learning solutions for learners engaged in professional development and professional learning - scaled course facilitation and content management. Collaborative learning environment for participants.

The features available in quizzes. I liked the ways the layout is designed.

The data analytics side of D2L. I believe it needs to be more detailed.

I love that Brightspace is easy to use for faculty and students, but can be customized in so many ways.

We have some issues with reporting in an easy to digest format.

I love how user friendly the interface is and how helpful the staff are.

There's nothing I can really think about that Indislike about Brightspace.

It's helping us engage our students in a much more stable environment than Blackboard

I have only been using it for a year so I don't have any negatives yet.

Intuitive and efficient
What do you like best about the product?
We are impressed with the ease of use and the workflow. After using Brightspace as our LMS for the last school year, we are noticing more usage of the LMS by faculty who resisted either using an LMS or were afraid of changing from our previous one to this one. We had anticipated a lot of support calls, but the number normalized rather quickly. Most faculty we speak to are very pleased with the ease of use and intuitive nature of Brightspace. Ironically, they are still adjusting to the system's flexibility, which they had requested.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately the portfolio tool is not what we need as it doesnt work as an assignment.

Improving engagement and teaching-learning experiences; student success both in learning and completing courses.
