Barracuda Email Protection is a very handy tool that makes our jobs easier
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to pull up emails sent between people, along with being able to even download and forward the email to other people if needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
It sometimes takes a while for the content in a sent email to become available. For example, if I'm trying to test something or view content from an email someone just sent, the email usually shows up in Barracuda within 1 minute of being sent, but the content isn't viewable from the admin panel for at least a good minute or two after that. It might not seem like a big deal, but I've had times where this extra minute or two is a big issue when working on something.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Impersonation protection has been a big thing that Barracuda has helped us implement and prevent future issues from impersonation attempts.

When new dashboards are implemented it takes a bit to learn how to navigate them

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Barracuda Email Protection for over five years, and it significantly streamlines managing blocked and allowed emails. The platform is user-friendly, allowing users to manage their emails with ease, which is incredibly helpful for our IT team. I particularly appreciate the ability to easily block and push emails through, which is crucial for me as an IT admin who interacts with the system daily. This feature, combined with the ease of navigation, saves a considerable amount of time. The past email archiving for up to 30 days is also a standout feature, offering peace of mind with the ability to recover mistakenly deleted emails. The initial setup was remarkably straightforward, which adds to the overall positive experience with the system. Altogether, these elements contribute to a seamless workflow and greater efficiency in managing email security.

First and foremost, identifying and addressing suspicious emails. Anytime a user asks about an email not received, it creates visibility/awareness to phishing.

Some troubleshooting issues can get passed around to a variety of Barracuda support agents and take a long time to resolve or language barriers hinder resolutions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly detecting phishing attempts and removing them before they can be accessed by a user. Also having an accessible backup of MS365 data.

What do you like best about the product?
The platform is easy to use, and I appreciate having support based in the United States during regular North American hours. The subject matter experts are excellent, and support cases are handled quickly with prompt responses.

I don't really like the new web portal interface.

not much. the interface did not allow me to switch apps, but the new version is much better.
