We are using the Email protection system to filter out unwanted email (spam) and spoofing.

I appreciate Barracuda Email Protection for its robust protection capabilities and ease of use. The speed of scanning and detailed log reports it provides allow me to efficiently manage our company's email security. These features enable me to focus more on other projects, as notifications alert me promptly to any issues. The solution reliably blocks malicious actors from sending harmful emails to our staff, effectively saving me time on monitoring. The initial setup was very straightforward, and I find the customer support exemplary—just a phone call away and always helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have noticed that some emails are allowed through Barracuda Email Protection, but then Microsoft 365 identifies a bad URL within those emails. I hope Barracuda Email Protection improves its scanning capabilities to better detect such threats.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Barracuda Email Protection to block spam and malware, check SPF and DMARC records, and it saves time by alerting me to issues, allowing me to focus on other tasks efficiently.

Reliable Spam Filter with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate Barracuda Email Protection's ability to efficiently filter and sort emails from all users within our company, especially when integrated with Microsoft 365. Its functionality to easily create a readable list of emails makes monitoring straightforward and clear. I find it extremely useful that I can see the reasons behind undelivered messages, enhancing transparency and understanding of email issues. The feature that automatically blocks messages from blacklisted sites is particularly effective, increasing our email security significantly. I am impressed with the software's virus and scam message scanning capabilities, as they provide an added layer of protection against common threats.
What do you dislike about the product?
I experience a number of false positives, which require me to retrieve messages that shouldn't have been filtered out. This is frustrating as it indicates the filters, particularly DKIM, DMARC, and PKIM, don't function as effectively as they should. Furthermore, I feel that the system should automatically block messages when the email headers clearly indicate a problem, such as a 'KILL Level 6' or when a domain doesn't authorize a specific user. Additionally, the initial setup was time-consuming and took a couple of days to fully configure everything.

I use Barracuda Email Protection to filter emails through Microsoft 365, protecting against spam and viruses, but it sometimes creates false positives.

Since our primary focus is on B2B, we have a large number of customers. The ability to block and allow specific domains has been especially helpful for us.

Easy Setup, Intuitive UI, and Robust Security Features
What do you like best about the product?
It is relatively easy to setup and very easy to use. The user interface is good. It does a pretty good job of stopping spam/threats. You can also add a lot of other helpful tools to the suite including encryption, Office 365 backup, and additional threat detection and remediation tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say the only downside is cost as it is added on to the costs of Office 365.

It helps by adding an additional layer of spam protection. Other key features are Office 365 backup, encryption, and threat detection and remediation.
User-Friendly Email Management with Intuitive UI - Bad Support after Installation
What do you like best about the product?
BarracudaONE is a great step in the right direction. Currently there are separate interfaces for each product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Continued to have consistently poor support since submitting previous review.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Barracuda Email Protection provides a great defense against illegitimate email. Email is a primary attack surface for phishing and social engineering, so protecting our users (in conjunction with security awareness training) from those emails lets us focus on larger issues instead of toiling through email logs to release mail.
A deep drive into the Barracuda Email Security Gateway
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about barracuda email protection is the AI driven protection against the phishing attacks, malware attacks and account takeover. Easy to manage cloud interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
Web interface is often outdated and clunky. There are some limitation in logging in quarantine options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Protecting against inbound threats, providing protection from spams and phishing. Solving the problems of malicious attachment and links which are delivering to the organization. DLP also helps in keeping the internal documents and financial details secure within the organization.
