Glean makes work a dream
What do you like best about the product?
Glean is truly the Google for your internal workspace. I can easily search our myriad of company apps and documents to find exactly what I'm looking for—or something better. As a marketer for a technical product, Glean often serves as a subject matter expert (SME) I can rely on to find the right expertise and knowledge about our product.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Glean is the best internal search tool out there, it can sometimes be hard to comb through the search results since they are so expansive. Glean does its best to solve this with advanced filtering capabilities, but it helps to have a somewhat organized workspace and the right access levels at the onset. Regardless, life with Glean is infinitely better than life without it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Glean saves precious time spent combing through troves of internal data by putting that knowledge at my fingertips. My key use cases include: 1) Creating accurate, high-quality marketing collateral using resources and expertise found through Glean. 2) Easily viewing org charts to find the right cross-functional collaborators across departments (no more scouring through Workday). 3) One clean, simple view when I open a new tab that includes Glean search, recently visited pages, and my calendar (even better than the Momentum Chrome extension).

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have important information shared/stored in Gdrive, Slack, Confluence, email, ets - Glean allows me a single place to search all of those mediums to find what I'm looking for

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to search across multiple apps! The recent section is also super nifty.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was also a commonly opened section in addition to Recent - there are several files I come searching for day in day out that may not always show under recent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can search for something I am looking for in one place! Sometimes it is hard to recall if the thing I am looking for is in Google Drive, Box, Atlassian, etc - here I don't have to remember because it can search them all! :)

Being able to locate what I'm looking for across all my internal tools with one quick and easy search
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing comes to mind - it does what it needs to do perfectly.

Having to search through many different databases/chats to find content/answers

What do you like best about the product?
Glean searches through everything: Google Docs, Gmail, Slack, JIRA, Confluence, and GitHub. It is the best way to find information about any topic, project, or technology at work. It was easy to set up and integrate, is easy to use, and I have it as my browser new tab page because I use it hourly, and there is a mobile app too!

Nothing, it is a great product today and continuous updates including AI summaries are exciting.

Finding company-specific knowledge and documents related to my work

What do you like best about the product?
Glean has saved me countless hours searching our internal systems to find the answer to a question or a particular resource. The search functionality is always spot on and helps me uncover things that I would have never found without Glean. I use Glean multiple times per day and have never had any technical issues with it. It's the best investment our team has ever made!
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot think of anything I dislike! There are definitely features I could take advantage of more though, like collections and answers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Searching for answers to customer questions or for a particular resource, using a single search tool to scan all of our internal systems. This capability saves me so much time, because before Glean I would have to individually search Slack, Confluence, and Support tickets to find an answer to a single question.
Save time searching for docs and messages!
What do you like best about the product?
Glean saves me hours per week. It helps us search through thousands of company docs, wiki pages, slack messages, and countless digital artifacts. It's also an excellent tool for research. Rather than pinging someone on Slack to ask for context or project docs, I can search different keywords to find all the related documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've found Glean is less helpful when searching through Slack. It's much better at documents.

What do you like best about the product?
The rapid filtering of results make it easy to slice and dice results to get to the material I need. The loose search also helps find related documentation and conversations that would have otherwise been missed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, this tool has made retrieval of material a breeze
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company has used multiple documentation and communication platforms over the years, which led to quite a bit of information sprawl. Glean has pulled all of it together into a simple interface that is useful for long-time employees as well as new hires.

Easy to use, combines search results across google drive, slack, etc. I use glean everyday.
What do you dislike about the product?
None to report at the moment, perhaps integrations with other technologies that we use
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows me to search all company files, chat threads, etc to find everything related to a given topic without having to log in to each program individually
Best way to find internal information
What do you like best about the product?
Better search capabilities than even product-specific search functionalities (e.g. Google Drive searchbar). That combined with the ability to view multiple information sources make using it a no-brainer.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integrations with various products can occasionally stop working unexpectedly.
