Straightforward, Simple, and Safe
What do you like best about the product?
The simplest thing about Virtu is that it works with the click of a button. And that's it! You can securely send a private document without the fear of someone else obtaining it. It is dependable, reliable, and super easy!
What do you dislike about the product?
None. I have had no issues or problems with Virtru. Sometimes it will have me occasionally log back in for security purposes, but that is actually a good thing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sending and receiving private documents through Virtru ensures that the data and content is sent safely and securely. This is huge in IT and data-related jobs, which is the field I am in.
Easy to use and implement
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use, especially with the chrome plugin! It is easy to toggle on and off as well, so you aren't excessively making emails encrypted.
What do you dislike about the product?
The google drive option can be annoying at times, because the 2 options popup and shoot the list down and can cause you to click a different field (like delete) when you wanted something else (like download)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solved our encryption and privacy issues. Now it makes our company look more secure and trustworthy because we encrypt important information.

What do you like best about the product?
We like having access to the Outlook plug in without having anything installed on our network for an end-to-end encryption solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. Our clients were able to install and activate their accounts for the most part. Some needed tech support.

HIPAA requirements for students medical data like IEPs.
Easy to use email encryption software
What do you like best about the product?
This software is very easy for all users to take advantage of for securing email content. A popup appears asking the user to activate the software and then the send button has the Virtu button to select the secure send.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice if the software was active all the time vs. having to address the pop-up each time. I think users would utilize this software more if it were already active each time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Virtu allows our users to send out confidential or protected information with the knowledge that it is encrypted during the transition to the intended recipient.

Allowing IT to send PII and other information in a secure manner so our clients feel more comfortable

Virtru is super user friendly and allows us to send our patients information securely and efficiently!

Sometimes it takes a little longer than I would like to attach something to an email. I think this is more of a user issue than a software issue!

Virtru allows us to send our patient's records securely. With the amount of identity fraud that occurs these days, it is VERY important to our patients that their information is protected!

Ease of use for both the sender and the receiver. Far less clunky than most

We don't use it a lot so it's kind of expensive given our use but still worth it

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to install and utilize. We can grant a user an account and they can be ready to go in under 5 minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far we have found no pain points with using Virtru.

It allows users to send secure information over email.
Good end to end encryption with excellent features
What do you like best about the product?
The end to end encryption is great. It's a very secure product. Virtru also has new features to do secure file shares, which is very helpful. The ability to revoke a message or check the status of a message is great as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The messages are very secure so sometimes printing sent messages may be a challenge since the print windows can't read the secure message; you have to copy and paste.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to send secure messages internally and externally. We have the ability to check the status of sent email messages and have the ability to send and receive large files.

What do you like best about the product?
Virtru encrypts emails, which is important to my security. The Cloud can be very dangerous without Virtru email encryption software. Competitors don't go through as many verification procedures.
What do you dislike about the product?
The least helpful thing about Virtru is that it secures or encrypts emails. Securing or encrypting emails is one of the downsides of using Virtru because of its inconvenience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Virtru is solving the problem of securing my emails, benefiting me by keeping me safe and secure. My business performance has increased, in that, I don't have to worry about losing sensitive data/information. I am also more productive, but also safe and secure.
