I couldn't have imagined working towards our certification without Laika!
What do you like best about the product?
The way Laika simplifies compliance requirements into digestible parts AND comes along with a kmowledgable consultant in case I have questions make it so helpful!
What do you dislike about the product?
What's not to like?!? But in the spirit of feedback, I'd say it would be great to see from an Admin or Project manager view who still has tasks remaining to work on. The team has had no issues navigating the software and picked it up quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was new to understanding the ISO27001 requirements, so when we started using Laika and it took me through Step-by-step and it saved me so much time I would have spent researching and allowed me to focus on the tasks at hand.

It takes time to get accustomed to the documentation editing interface.
While the number of integrations is decent and growing, it does not cover all key services that a typical enterprise would require.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thoropass provides the framework and resources companies need to improve their security posture and achieve security compliance and certification within a predictable timeframe.
HIPAA streamlined and easy
What do you like best about the product?
Streamlines HIPAA and makes becoming compliant a lot more feasible, especially for a smaller startup.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having more templates would be beneficial.

Achieving HIPAA compliance in the most effective way possible.
Great personalization
What do you like best about the product?
Working with Joe and Vince has made all of the difference. They are helpful, friendly, and take the time to actually understand what we need — instead of just selling. Laika has been very flexible and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The old layout of Laika was a bit confusing. The new layout is much better, but moving documents over has been a little bit of a challenge. Otherwise the platform is great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Laika has helped us solve compliance and make sure that we have all of our ducks in a row. Its incredibly simple. One person has been able to manage the vast majority of all our compliance.

What do you like best about the product?
Our consultant is very helpful with any questions I ask. She is concise and to the point.

This may just be my prior non-experience talking, but the whole SOC2 compliance process is utterly confusing.

What do you like best about the product?
Laika project management capabilities and having a dedicated compliance architect to help guide you through the complex compliance process.
What do you dislike about the product?
They have integrations to most of the tools we use. It will be helpful if they can integrate with JumpCloud.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SOC 2 Compliance process.
Always there when we call
What do you like best about the product?
I am not a technologist and I don't know SOC 2 compliance issues at all. Laika has an easy to follow framework and other tools that make it more convenient to complete the required tasks on our way towards compliance. We don't have enough staff to allow us to put all of our attention on the SOC 2 process. Engaging the process with Laika allows me to complete the required tasks and also continue to operate our daily business obligations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found any downside to working with Laika. All the necessary materials, resources and organization are right at hand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simple organization, where does one begin in this process? Laika organized our limited time and keeps us directed. Examples are available for us to use and adapt to our unique circumstances without spending the time we don't have to reinvent the wheel! And we needed the help too!!
Laika is a great partner for compliance
What do you like best about the product?
The system is phenomenal for organizing and maintaining compliance policies and procedures. They have also been very helpful in our SOC Type 1 & 2.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to date. I have been impressed with each module.

Laika has assisted with model regulatory compliance policies as well as the SOC Type 1 & 2.

Providing a platform to ease your certification process. For us it's helping because we are new to the process and these tools help organize things.
Real human support with the right amount of autonomy
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the human approach to Laika's platform. We have a dedicated Customer Success Manager that is available to guide us through the process and provide any expertise regarding compliance efforts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Most companies approaching compliance may not have a background in managing this process. The onboarding and education of the experience could be better explained upfront. There were moments when the sales pitch didn't align with the experience. Hand-holding is required for first-timers in this process, especially when working with start-ups.
