Thoropass was a great partner for SOC2
What do you like best about the product?
Thoropass partnered with our team to handle SOC2 compliance. They offered document templates, integrations to automatically collect information from services such as AWS, and guided the team as needed. All of this help, improved our chances of not missing any details and helped us obtain compliance faster. Additionally, our Thoropass advisor met with us weekly and if we had questions which they didn't know an answer for, they reached out to others to help find guidance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Thoropass user interface takes a bit of learning to use. It has many features which take time to find and figure out how to utilize.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thoropass helps the team manage policies, committees, risk reviews, vendor reviews and much more. There are many features built into the user interface and when utilized they help make the audit process easier. They also record when items are updated and track who has reviewed, updated, and approved the changes. The auto integration to services such as AWS is a blessing in that policies can be configured and the system will notify us if the service moves out of compliance. Finally Thoropass arranges for the audit team's time and provides them access to the appropriate documentation and evidence as required to complete the audit.

What do you like best about the product?
We’ve used Thoropass to streamline our SOC 2 and ISO processes, and it’s been a game changer. The platform is intuitive and the integrations reduce manual work.

While the UI is intuitive, I still felt a little overwhelmed at times

Thoropass takes the complexity out of compliance. It centralizes our policies, automates evidence collection, and keeps us continuously audit-ready. This saves us time, reduces stress, and helps us prove our security posture to customers faster.
Professional and Fair
What do you like best about the product?
The Thoropass team was very professional during our onboarding and our renewal process. Unlike other vendors, there were no surprises for upsells or “gotchas”. Thoropass is a vendor that you can trust that will listen to you business objectives and align your engagement accordingly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Compliance software can be a cost center for your business but is often necessary. Thoropass streamlines our compliance function and made things a lot easier for our business.

What do you like best about the product?
Using the application made the process understandable and efficient as a central repository.
What do you dislike about the product?
The application is difficult to navigate at times but our CSM, Roughan Norris helped us out and kept us on track.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thoropass provided a central repository for all our documentation. The application tracks the next scheduled events so we stay in sync with the timing of all our activities.

Their team was always helpful in guiding us through the process and eager to answer any questions that arose.

A few of the audit request items could have been easier to comprehend.

Great UI
What do you like best about the product?
Very nice experience when viewing my company's training documents and policies. It was easy to see what tasks I had to complete, and/or what I was assigned. After reviewing the documents, it tells me what I completed. Everything is just a few clicks away.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much big cons to call out. Page can be more gracefully responsive to smaller screens.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing me to see what compliance task and policies are readily viewable. Take trainings that are assigned to me, and allow me to track my compliance.

What do you like best about the product?
Thoropass has helped us organize and track our HIPAA, SOC 2, and GDPR readiness under a single, intuitive dashboard. For a growing digital health product, this unified view was critical. The ability to assign compliance-related tasks to the right stakeholders helps ensure nothing falls through the cracks—especially when audits approach. We’ve cut down manual back-and-forth by using integrations with AWS, Jira, and Google Workspace to auto-pull compliance evidence. This keeps our compliance story continuously audit-ready without added operational overhead.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customization is limited, so we occasionally need to supplement with manual processes outside the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instead of hiring a full in-house compliance ops team, Thoropass extends our capabilities with fractional but expert oversight.
Excellent. Our CSM is extremely responsive and we love working with him.

The support we get is top notch. Also, we love having the ability to keep everything in one portal and not have to have multiple systems.

Nothing comes to mind. We have been very happy with our experience.

Best compliance portal 2025
What do you like best about the product?
Mostly the UI and Navigation modules. Ease of uploading documents and sharing comments with the CSM and auditors.During our compliance, we used to login frequently and we never faced any challenges. The customer support was Swift and our queries were clarified in no time. The integration module was so simple that any non technical person can also integrate different service provider with Thoropass without any support. the ease of implementation different compliance module and uploading supporting docs is super easy and convinient

As of now, we have been using it for around 3 years, We never faced any issues so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its mainly helping us in achieving the compliance certification needed for our organisation. Also with the integrations its helping us to eradicate any issues with out CSP.
