Easy and helpful
What do you like best about the product?
This is so simple to use and the integration, communication and tracking work seamlessly to ensure I stay on top of my proposals and sales.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I had the ability to modify ALL the fonts (color, size, etc.); however, I am unable to do this with the Section headers. Also, it is incredibly difficult to add a Section or Row where I want them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed an affordable way to generate and track my proposals. I love having everything accessible to me while I am on the road - it saves so much frustration! I am able to strike while the proverbial sales iron is hot!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Affordable, easy to use, and continuously upgrading...you cannot go wrong!

Movement of text fields within a created template over time

Indenting text doesn't always stick
Copy/Paste messes with formatting sometimes
Just a lot of technical issues
Can't change email address of client after sending document - no simple way of fixing

Practice, practice, practice. Use the support pages, and fiddle.
Time Saver!
What do you like best about the product?
Setting up templates that can be customized quickly is the key! I can finally get documents sent within minutes of speaking with my clients. Faster turnaround has resulted in more sales.
What do you dislike about the product?
The autosave has bit me in the ass a couple times. There isn't an undo feature. That really needs to change.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This has streamlined our sales process. Getting proposals sent faster has resulted in a higher percentage of proposals being signed.
It is an excellent tool.

I would like more templates. The current templates are ok but would be great if there were actually legal docs (perhaps partner with one of the services).

We use it for all of our core agreements and for document storage.

I would recommend taking the time to set up all of your templates.
Good product for increased productivity
What do you like best about the product?
I run a small law office. Pandadoc makes it easy to execute consistent fee agreements to clients, whether or not they are local. Once they sign, I can be confident that all parties promptly receive a fully executed copy of the document.
What do you dislike about the product?
API not available to smaller plans. This is a frustration, as access to the API with applications like Zapier can be very big time savers. Only offering this to "enterprise" customers seems a bit punitive, as small companies often depend on these types of systems to streamline processes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use the software primarily for fee agreements with clients. However, I have created and used the system for global settlement agreements for geographically dispersed parties as well. It certainly beats FedEx'ing documents all over the country.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Good product, continues to grow with improved features. It is particularly useful don't have a strictly regimented formatting requirement, and can design your documents within their ecosystem.
PandaDoc works well as a tool for sending contracts electronically for signing.
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to set up a contract and send it for signing. I also like the templates that make sending some of our standard forms a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only area I don't like is that you can't withdraw an item once you've sent it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem is timely signing of contracts. By doing it electronically I have found it faster to get a signed contract back.

PandaDoc makes getting documents signed easy and efficient.

I like that there is no monthly fee and I can just buy credits.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once you change a template, even though older versions show, you cannot revert to a prior version if you've made a mistake.

Obtaining and filing signed documents is very simple and efficient for both me and my customers.

Better versioning of templates...editing of existing templates can be painful.

What do you like best about the product?
The interface is great. There are a couple very small quirks, but overall it is fast and easy to use and set up. We integrate it with Pipedrive to make data entry happen only once.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not a true word processor. It's not like I need a fully-functional word processor, but there are some minor things that are lacking, such as using the tab key for indenting.
Also, not being able to have outside people review your documents is a hassle. There is no way to have a non-user review a document before it is sent They must be paying users like you. It would be nice to even have a cheap review user-level account.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Panadoc for writing proposals and agreements with our vendors and clients. We have received alot of positive feedback and it saves us alot of time. No more emailing pdf's back and forth and wondering where they are saved. I like keeping all of this out of my inbox.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that PandaDoc tracks the progress of a document from the time it is sent, to each individual signing it, to the time it is completed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not crazy about the templates. If I upload a PDF I wish there was a way to easily edit it within PandaDoc, rather than having to edit the PDF beforehand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes it SO much easier to keep track of important documents, who has signed what, etc.
