My first go-to platform for website analytics
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to build charts, funnels and events. Also the ability to share public specific links with anyone and with real-time data saves me many hours of reporting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although you can create literally anything using their charts and segments, it would help if they have templates for more stuff. For instance, it's quite difficult to see returning visitors and behaviors of returning visitors. You need to create a segment and after a chart with that specific segment. More templates would save me time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Track website visitors, track usage of my website and track conversions and events.
Regarding improvements to Amplitude functionality
What do you like best about the product?
In addition to its excellent analytics features, it also has features like Experiments.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Amplitude feature does not provide Kafka integration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By verifying the effectiveness of marketing measures and understanding user behavior on websites, we use this data to formulate PDCA and KPIs for marketing measures.

Powerful Event Data Capture
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude is easy to use and administer, and fills a gap in our data collection, allowing us to measure & analyze user interaction. Adoption has been smooth, and the Ampltude team is so great to work with- they provide wonderful trainings and support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Truly nothing. I only wish I had more time to complete analyses in it myself!

Capturing user interaction across our product beyond what we could previously capture.
Fast, intuitive, and super powerful
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to explore data without needing SQL. Building funnels, tracking events, and slicing by properties feels really intuitive. It’s become my go-to tool for making quick product decisions and spotting trends.

Nothing major comes to mind — it’s been a reliable tool that does exactly what we need.

Amplitude helps us understand how users interact with our product and where they drop off. It’s been a game-changer for prioritizing features and improving user flows.
Great for product insights, but can get sluggish at scale
What do you like best about the product?
It’s super intuitive — I was up and running pretty quickly, even without a technical background. It’s my go-to for checking feature adoption, running funnels, and sharing quick insights with the team.
What do you dislike about the product?
It slows down when we’re dealing with a ton of events, especially during deeper breakdowns. Also wish there was an easier way to validate if events are firing correctly — debugging takes longer than it should.

We use it to understand how users interact with our product, spot drop-offs, and make faster product decisions. It’s become a core part of our workflow.

It is quite easy to use, very intuitive UI. Very wide variety of features - the team has been launching features that have been making our job simpler.

Takes quite a lot of time to setup, needs a lot of initial setup effort from engineering, product and analytics team. Lots of handholding is required.

If you've got a product, you should definitely consider Amplitude!
What do you like best about the product?
- There's a lot of flexibility and level of detail you can add, especially if you want to do Org. and Acc. level analysis as well
- Marketing channel level report is helpful, so you are not just limited to product analytics!
- The feature flag is quite helpful though I'd like if we could control that via GTM as well!

What do you dislike about the product?
- Chrome debugging extension is good, but can get complex since the real-time view within the product is a little confusing
- Overall, the UI can be overwhelming because of so much happening, so there's a bit of a steep learning curve
- If you're new, then installation can be a bit tricky with different SDKs and so many options, even if you use a tag manager and the UI can make it a little difficult to see who can view the reports you've created unless they are explicitly shared in a space or with certain users
- Maybe some more documentation on the options available in GTM's Tag Template and their repercussions would help!

- In product analytics e.g. what are users doing, which features are they using, how much, and how the data looks like at account and org. level as well but now we are also looking into marketing level data
Easy to build amazing product analtyics
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of creating bespoke analytics is fantastic. The fair pricing by number of users and not by events is much better for startups
What do you dislike about the product?
The need to set owners and descriptions on events is unnecessary but the system badgers you into doing this actions to complete your setup

It helps us track product usage and understand what our users are doing or not doing or having difficult with.
