The gold standard in MDM for Apple Products
What do you like best about the product?
Jamf's focus is Apple products and it shows in how they build their solutions. They always have Apple's design focus and ease of use in mind. I always know where to go if I need to make a change to a setting or update a configuration profile. I've been using Jamf since they were called Casper and every update has always included a feature that has been requested by their users. They actively listen and make changes based on feedback. As Apple releases updates, Jamf is always there to support them and I don't have to wait.
What do you dislike about the product?
With Jamf being one of the first MDM solutions for Apple products, they have to keep around some older frameworks and may be out of date with bleeding-edge technologies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We want to have as much control over our corporate Mac devices with the best user experience possible. Our users pick Apple devices because that's what they are familiar with so having Jamf and Self Service allows them to use that familiarity to manage their Mac.
Managing Macs in EDU
What do you like best about the product?
I'm a single person admin managing ~1400 macs, and moving to Jamf has made that job so much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Using Patch is a somewhat cumbersome process, but ultimately still provides a massive benefit to keeping my computers up to date with application releases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are deploying software and keeping those apps up to date, and managing multiple security and configuration profiles.

zero touch deployments and allowing people to work from anywhere with safety and reliability

it replaced our old software and now we have everything being managed by jamf

What do you like best about the product?
Jamf has allowed us to maintain hundreds of Apple devices right from our desktops without having to put hands on those devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a steep learning curve to Jamf but once you have it, life is so much easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am installing and uninstalling apps on our users' devices without taking the devices away from them. Jamf offers a lot of benefits and features to our users, giving them more access and support in real-time.
Second to none
What do you like best about the product?
Jamf Pro is easy to set up, simple to learn and has the best support community on the planet. Jamf is the GO-TO product for managing Apple devices, and I'm honestly not sure what I would be doing without it today. It has consistently made my life easier and allowed us not only to be more productive but far more efficient from a support standpoint.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish that Jamf provided an in-house VPN option, similar to other MDM platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mass deployment, mass management, streamlined support. The result is happier staff and customers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You won't find a better product for managing Apple devices.

What do you like best about the product?
Jamf Pro has extraordinary remote management abilities
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting could be improved as the timezone is UTC, not local for reports and exports to PowerBi.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jamf Pro has allowed us to manage our whole iPad Fleet remotely.
Good workflow automation that we use to create a zero-touch onboarding for our users
What do you like best about the product?
Jamf Nation - valuable information, tips, tricks and resources to go to when you might have issues. Often times the issue you are facing, isn't something new at all. There are always others who have run into it and can provide valuable insight to resolving. If it is something completely new, you have a plethora of other admins at your disposal who are able to quickly assist you.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support for devices outside of Mac. A lot of Org's are looking to merge their fleet into a single MDM and while Jamf is the best I've used for Apple devices, having more functionality for devices outside of the Apple universe would benefit it in the eyes of other Org's

Integrated patch management - easy to keep your software up to date on devices.
Great Product if you are working with Apple devices!

I like the ability to set devices as lost and display a message to bring them back to a designated area

What I dislike about Jamf would be the amount of apparel they have

Their support staff is the BEST, I haven't had a better support session with another company.

What do you like best about the product?
Everything useability, functional and it is the best way to manage Mac OS and iOS alike, I have used many different platforms and this is by far the BEST

Not to much to complain about, it is a great solution and they have a wide variety of versions to meet all needs

We are able to solve all sorts of different issues from day to day simple issues to deploying software on a large scale
