JAMF Pro is like having an extra technician on staff.

What do you like best about the product?
We can do most device management of our iPad and Macbook fleet remotely. We can push apps, configure and manage devices in bulk, which saves so much time, and allows our team to focus on other tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are sometimes features that Apple supports that are not supported directly via JAMF. I wish JAMF Pro also had built-in MFA without the need to use SSO.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can manage almost 2000 devices with a small staff (3 people) and keep devices patched and updated.

    Higher Education

What do you like best about the product?
Jamf is deeply committed to the platform and 0-day support for Apple's stream of new features. Support is fast, responsive when needed, and backed by extensive documentation and a robust community.
What do you dislike about the product?
With the constant stream of new features, updates and cleanup of older features seem to fall behind. Server patches are released regularly, almost requiring the Jamf Cloud product to maintain your sanity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ensuring security standards are applied to all devices consistently. Providing tools and features to help reduce calls to the service desk.

What do you like best about the product?
The Jamf Pro is a wonderful product. We are using it to manage iPads. Jamf link with our Apple School Manager to pull information and set up our MDM. When we purchase applications, it is easy to push out to iPads in just a few moments. I can make changes on iPads without having them in my physical possession. Jamf support is good in helping get an issue solved if needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I have found I dislike about Jamf is sometimes remembering how to update certificates and setting when you don't use it every day. There is not much that I really dislike about Jamf.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jamf has helped in the management of iPad in the district. Being able to control the applications that are installed and getting devices returned at end of year.

What do you like best about the product?
The user interface and how JAMF interacts with Apple.
What do you dislike about the product?
After completeing an Action on a Static Group, you don't have the option to go right back the static group. You have to go back and start again.

JAMF Pro is an easy way to use managed apps and app distribution

What do you like best about the product?
the speed and ease in which you can manage both macos and ios devices, the online support is superb and makes finding issues a breeze, neve has managing mac been more fun.
What do you dislike about the product?
there is very little to dislike about jamf pro, you could argue its only for managing apple devices and it would be nice if did some windows management but that will never happen
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its allowing use to managed our mac estate from onboarding to end of life and everything inbetween, its proving vitial in this role and wished we adopted it years ago.

Support…. Made simple for your end user

What do you like best about the product?
We are using Jamf Connect in 2 ways.
The first is Jamf Connect login and the other is the Jamf Connect Menu Bar.

The Jamf Connect login gives us 3 Factor Authentication (local password to unlock FileVault, Azure credentials and Authenticator approval). This is only needed on restart or after shutdown.
Jamf Connect & the menu bar allow for Microsoft SSPR (self service password reset) or writing directly to a URL where users reset their password (to on prem AD).
We use Microsoft SSPR, and Jamf Connect syncs the password with the local login password.... cutting down the number of passwords users need to remember.

I have also configured a few actions in the menu bar, where with 2 clicks, it will open Mail, compose an email with our webhelp address already filled in.
It is heavily customizable.... I absolutely love it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jamf Unlock is being deprecated 😭 😭 😭
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Staff are always complaining about too many passwords. This keeps their AD and local logins the same
