Simply the best Mac management
What do you like best about the product?
Jamf pro enables me to do my job where i couldn't with any other solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
Patch management needs improving. This is lacking
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The power of extension attributes and being able to create smart groups for policies is simply brilliant.

I was introduced to Jamf 4 years ago and it does amaze everyday I work on it!

I guess patch management could have a bit more features and applications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deploying a full build and updating apps regularly.

Get on it sooner rather than later

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use of zero touch deployment. Ability to keep device secure while keeping usability. I use it for enterprise Mac. It is simply the most seamless MDM.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing! It's a great MDM platform. They add new features you didn't know you needed every year.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Manual hands on configuration being required. It's cheaper as you need less time to set up devices. We are more productive. Performance has increased for sure.

Having the ability to manage devices remotely.

The personal unlocking key is too long and sometimes doesn't seem to work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
If a laptop is stolen we're able to lock & wipe it so no confidential information is leaked.

their support team is second to none, every time I have had an issue their support team has been supportive and on hand.
about Jamf Pro though I like how the product is super easy to use for both the user and the admins behind it.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JAMF Pro is resolving the connectivity between the end-user and IT team within the company, we can build a better relationship with the users by providing a service that is simple and easy for them to understand.

Certain areas need some improvement and updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solves the issue of providing a useful way to manage Apple devices. It benefits us because before JAMF everything was done by hand device by device.

Jamf Pro can't be beat
What do you like best about the product?
In our environment, we went from around 400 imacs to about 1100 imac/macbook pro's in a little over a year, and that was getting extremely difficult to manage one by one, by hand, every setup and rebuild. We needed an mdm solution that would solve the problem of remote workers that we knew was going to happen, even well before the pandemic made it essentially a requirement. There is no better solution to do this in the mac space than Jamf Pro. Simplified the zero touch deployment process, created management for systems we never dreamed of having before, all in a managed cloud with strong support behind it.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some downsides, in particular the inventory reporting which could use a little work. But, in saying that, one of the big benefits of Jamf Pro is just how constant it is being upgraded, updated, changed and for the better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The vast management space of the 2600+ devices we have now would be daunting with our older management platform, yet Jamf makes it so I can do all of the management and engineering side of things with 1-3 people at any given point. The problem of people, what other better problem could management solve by going to a solution such as this?

Occasionally support requests I raise can sometimes take a few days to resolve/have a response.

It gives us the power to manage tens of thousands of devices at scale in an efficient and consistent way.

Seamless, Zero Day Ready and best MDM Solution in Market available for our Purpose (macOS)

not customizable Dashboard, UX Design should be improved - SelfService Design mismatch with macOS Appearance

Lightweight MDM Solution for our Developers - Jamf is there but Users do not feel that MDM is in place

Jamf Nation (biggest Mac Admin Community) is priceless - need Help ask the Community and no additional Costs) once setup it works
