Jamf has changed how we manage endpoints
What do you like best about the product?
Speed. We do use InTune for Windows and the difference is speed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing is probably the only drawback. It can get expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Macs are entering the workforce more and having ease of management makes my role simpler.

It just made everything so easy
What do you like best about the product?
While the documentation can sometimes leave a little to be desired, the associates in the customer service/technical support area are absolutely amazing. There was an issue i was specifically having with the MacOS that i could not get resolved, i contacted JAMF on a whim to see if they could guide me in the correct direction and they completely helped me through the issue.
Now that JAMF has been setup, i only need to login a handful of times a week to get new applications prepared or send out OS updates.
This originally was just for MacOS, however, we did have a number of ipads enrolled through another MDM i was looking into migrating over to JAMF. I thought i did not have something correctly implemented, but it was so rediculously easy that I enrolled the device and it was already 90% of what the end users needed on their manufacturiong based ipad setup.
I would recommend this each and every time.

What do you dislike about the product?
The documentation could be better. The 2 things i've found that aren't a stopper to anything, but more of an annoyance.
when sending major OS updates to the next version, you cannot schedule them... i'm not sure if this is a JAMF limitation, or a MAC limitation... but that's hard on the end user.
If there was a way to schedule the button click, that would be awesome.
the second thing is on the ipads, you can click a checkbox to not show the application in the self service application after installation; MacOS does not have this feature built in which makes the self service kind of messy at times... Other than that, this has been great!

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
an extremely easy MDM solution to our once "wild west" style apple implemenation. We had them in another MDM that was terribly slow and unreliable; JAMF completely changed my views on how apple devices can be managed in an enterprise environment.

Jamf Pro - Wonderful Product, Unmatched Community
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Jamf Pro for a little over a year now. MDM's are something that I am in every day for my job, and I have used several different MDM's heavily. Jamf Pro has been the most reliable, feature-rich MDM that I have used.
The best thing about Jamf Pro isn't the product itself, but the community that surrounds it. There are so many users that are willing to help. It's amazing!

What do you dislike about the product?
I think the thing that I dislike about Jamf Pro is that new features offered by Apple take so long to make their way into the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest headache that Jamf Pro relieved when I switched was the reliablity of the communication between the server and the client. I knew that when I would push out a profile or a policy payload, they would show up as soon as possible.
Jamf Pro helped us solve another problem by allowing us to choose a cloud-hosted solution. Not having to maintain specific OS builds on a virtual server, keeping Java versions pinned at a specific version, all of that was resolved by having Jamf do the work for us.

Perfect for my use case
What do you like best about the product?
Simple to setup and use. Doesn't take an expert to get things up and running quickly and effectively. We have found great success using it and are not looking for a replacement any time soon. Our meetings with customer support have been very professional, we looked at using JamF school but decided to stick with Pro. The features included in the platform cover all aspects we need to consider in our environment and have been very easy to deploy, with little issues. Integrating with intune has also been extremely easy with very little problems, overall the experience has been great with no roadbumps when integrating with the rest of our environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how it requires apple school manager, however this is probably on the apple side of things more than anything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing our iOS devices for our students, app deployments, app restrictions and installing certificates remotely rather than manually.
Jamf Pro - An Excellent Mac Device Management Tool

It is the best tool to manage the Apple devices. I like the way it manages all our macOS devices with easy options. The customer care support is very useful and the queries are addressed immediately.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is not a way to remote control a macbook without using apple remote desktop.

Easier way to install apps and keep track of the macbooks and ipads.
Jamf is by far the best MDM I’ve worked with

Management of School devices at the click of a button!
What do you like best about the product?
It is very user friendly and easy to navigate. It is intuitive. Making changes to managed systems happen almost instantaneously. Things are easy to do and manage with minimal training. Responses from the support team are good and if not able to resolve a query, are positive about the interaction. I use it daily, and have not experienced any issues when trying to implement any changes on our devices or to our classes. We use it with Apple Classroom, and the two work seemlesly together.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing - even when the odd issue crops up, JAMF support are quick to assist or give feedback.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to have control over around 700 or so devices, meaning that teaching and learning is not disrupted by individual learner actions. This means we can teach with confidence, knowing learners are focused in class, and also that learners and teachers have everything they need at the click of a button.
